The job was still not done so he returned the next evening, after 5:00pm and stayed until midnight. He also used some of my tools and took them with him. They have not been returned. The job was still not done and he had tightened, loosened, pounded on,T and jerryrigged so many things (including the springs) that the manager and another man came the next day and stayed 2 hours to fix the problems made by the first man. After they left, the garage door and the track were popping and cracking every time I put it up or down. I lubricated them and it seemed to get somewhat better. Two months later the door is very loud again and they sent Quick Garage repair to fix the problem. They fixed the problem that I had with the garage door screen, that runs in the same track, but said that I NEED NEW SPRINGS. The Cowtown guys, that put in my new garage door opener, had adjusted my springs when they were working on my door. Now the Quick Garage Repair guys, that were sent to fix the continuing problems, said that I need new springs and, at my request, would only adjust the springs that are there for $175+. The springs were fine when I got the new opener but they would not take responsibility to tweak the setting because it was not on the invoice, so not under warranty for repair. I could explain in more detail but it might take 3 days to read. This is the first time that I have written a negative review so believe me when I say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Precision came out within a day of calling, there tech gave me a full review of it and my options. Needless to say, it COULD be repaired and not replaced. We setup the repair, within a day later they had two techs on site. They did a great job, everything replaced, tightened and proper. The garage door works great now, it's safe and I'm just amazed. On a Wednesday morning, I tried to open my garage door.  It got about 2" and stopped with the…read moreopener motor still laboring on.   I originally thought it was the 11-year-old cheap Genie model that the builder had installed by D&D Garage; however, through AI, learned it was actually the Wayne Dalton Torquemaster internal spring(s) that had snapped (as confirmed by the fact that it was extremely hard to lift the full weight, 200 lbs, of the door).  Rather than just replacing the Torquemaster springs, for about $200 more, the Torquemaster could be converted to a full external spring setup, which generally lasts much longer than the Torquemaster springs.   And since the opener was near its end of life, I wanted to have it replaced as well with a better quality LiftMaster opener.   The original installer, D&D Garage, said they could send a tech out to replace the opener on Friday, and on that same visit would weigh the garage door to determine the thickness of external spring to be used (uh?  They installed the door.  Shouldn't they have known the weight?), for the external spring conversion, but then wouldn't be able to do the conversion until the following Friday.  That meant we wouldn't be able to use the garage door for the next 10 days!  So, I called Justin, from Just-In-Time.   He actually came out to the house later that evening and weighed the door and provided me with an estimate which was a little more than the D&D estimate but said he could do the opener install and spring conversion the next day, Thursday!   Wohoo!   I accepted. Justin did an excellent job on the conversion and install, even pointing out where D&D had very poorly installed the actual Wayne Dalton garage door.   Additionally, he installed the wall opener and the outside keypad.  Although he brought in a lot of tools, everything was cleaned up before he left.   So instead of 10 days, we only had to go without using the garage for 2 days!    If you need any kind of garage door service, call Just-In-Time!
