I came to Dr. Garcia when I unexpectedly pitched a nerve in my neck. I am a professional latin social dancer and this pinched nerve was not from dancing. A week ago (just returning from a trip) I had excruciating pain and only 15%. I thought it was a pinched nerve. He truly cares about you and your outcome. He keeps your x-rays on file and reviews them before your adjustment so that he knows exactly what to do for your specific issues. I paid in advance for sessions (at a very reasonable rate). I had to come from downtown Los Angeles for my appointments and I ended up just not having time for the more than two hours of travel time so I had to let Dr. Garcia know that I couldn't come anymore. I was sad and also nervous about getting a refund for my remaining sessions. He called me and was more than gracious about it. He refunded me all of my prepaid sessions in full, and even emailed my x-rays to me in case I found another chiropractor closer to me. Dr. Garcia is amazing! I've gone to two other chiropractors prior to Dr. Garcia and I just felt like a number to them. Dr. Garcia treats you like an individual and really cares about making you feel 100%! Due to my previous experiences I was hesitant to go to Dr. Garcia, but after my wife spoke nothing but good things about him, I gave in. Dr. Garcia Is extremely knowledgeable and loves to educate his patients! During the initial visit he does a thorough exam, x-rays and goes over a plan/payment for you. I wasn't satisfied with how things turned out. According to a paper written by Dr. Garcia I was getting a 20 or 30 discount for paying sessions in full in advance. Because for sessions paid in longer payment periods the discount is less than. Well Long story short I wanted to get a refund for unused sessions. I was supposed to get 240 back for 6 sessions but instead I got 180. I accepted the refund out of courtesy, but I felt like it was unfairly done. I was told that i was getting a discount for paying in full not for buying a set of 10 sessions. Not happy with how things turned out. I also went to get a chiropractic session on a day the doctor wasn't available. The replacement chiropractic offered something different that I was not used to. I didn't know this until I showed up. The receptionist didn't inform me of this and I got a less than expected chiropractic session. The workshop I attended felt like a sales pitch. I did learn a few things but than I heard but this it and Buy that. Right away I knew it wasn't for me. This was probably the one thing that drew me away from the otherwise nice doctor. I am a 21 year old who suffered from back problems since 17, every spine expert I visited all agreed it was highly uncommon for a 20 year to experience arthritis along with a Discogenic (deteriorating) lower back disease. However, even after an epidural injection, multiple facet injections, and nerve block procedures, the pain always came back or never went away. After giving up on sports and many leisure activities for a couple of years I happened to run into Danny near my house. While he seemed very optimistic and interested in diagnosing me, I assume he was just after my money like all the previous experts I had in the past; Still, I decided it was worth a shot since he offered me a deal on an X-ray for only 20$ and a free diagnosis. Of course as a broke college student, I was scared of the treatment fee and anxious to finally see Dr. Garcia's evil true intentions *muahaha.* Truth was the treatment as a whole was way cheaper than any single injection I had in the past, and was very happy when my school's insurance covered 60% of it. Not only that, but Danny gives out prepayment plans that cut the price to nearly half. My 12-week therapy was only about 600$. So the price wasn't his evil intention, thus it must be on a useless treatment, right? Well I am currently on my 4th week of my therapy, and I couldn't be more happier on my decision to give Dr. Garcia a chance to fix my back. Immediately after identifying my misalignments in my spine and neck, Danny promised I would be able to play basketball again (something that was never proven by any of my past doctors). *Quick note, any time after playing a 15-minute game, my the ability to walk or move without extreme pain would go out the window. Yesterday, feeling as healthy as before any back pain came in my life, played an intense 20-minute game, and I never felt so healthy in my life. Once again I am only on my 4th week of my treatment. Each visit, consisting of 15-20 minutes, is composed of varied exercises and realignments. Immediately after leaving you will feel amaze balls, guaranteed. I found Dr. Garcia by groupon and took a chance. I have to say it was the best groupon I have ever bought. I am new to chiropractic care and was nervous of what to expect. Well, first I must say that he never treated me as a groupon user which is truly refreshing and he really listened to my concerns. Dr Garcia is a really great chiropractor. His adjustments are awesome and he's a really nice guy who makes you feel very welcome in his office. If this review were based only on his adjustments and bedside manner, I would give him 5 stars. The reason for only 3 stars is because of his billing practices. When I first started as a patient I was given a price that I would pay monthly, but then after about 6 months, he told me his prices went up and I had to pay a higher price. It felt kind of like a bait and switch. Also I was told that I was paying for a certain number of appointments per week or month (can't remember which), but I was told if I didn't use the full number of appointments for any given week/month, that they would carry over to the next week/month. When I decided to stop getting adjustments there, I told the Dr that I wanted to use my unused visits that I had accumulated, and he told me that I only had 1, which I know is not correct. I should have had around 4 or 5 at least, so I felt cheated out of the visits that I had paid for. read more

Dr. Garcia is a brilliant chiropractor. I have been in a severe amount of pain from old sport injuries for the past couple years. I was getting discouraged because I wasn't able to complete my workout routine for my shoulders without severe pain while also having to take a hiatus from playing hockey. Dr. Garcia took the time to explain my issue(s) and plan for recovery. I can honestly say that as of today, I don't get those shooting/sharp pains throughout my shoulder and arm and I am back at the gym completing my routines. I can not say enough praise about Dr. Garcia's knowledge and skill in chiropractic care. I have used Chiropractic treatment several times over the years. This is the first chiropractor that took x-rays and with his careful exam of the alignment of my spine has created lasting improvements. I initially met him at the SoCal farms market. His assistant took pictures of me and showed me my uneven shoulders and hips. I had fallen down our stairs at home, and thought I only broke my foot. I had persistent problems walking down stairs; needing to take one step at a time as one leg seemed too short. I also had difficulty with bending my head to the left. With Dr Garcia's Chiropractic Tx all of this has improved. The other misalignment noted was that my head sat on my neck mildly tilted to the left. I have had Post nasal drip since the earthquake in 1994, so I thought I had developed new allergies from the disturbed dust. But all the nasal Rx and antihistamines only helped a little. I also felt pressure in my left maxillary sinus near my nose. With repeated x-rays and Dr Garcia's skilled hands, my post nasal drip is improving and my posture improved also. I don't usually leave review but let me start off with saying "WOW!" Dr, Garcia is great and the staffs are great! This chiropractor is the best one I have been so far! Dr. Garcia does great job on adjusting my lower and upper back, and neck. I always had problem laying on my face down for long period time when I sleep but after adjustment, I can sleep really well. And while I am working on my desk sitting in front of computer all day, I have stiff neck and shoulders almost everyday but everything feels really good now.
