I couldn't believe the exceptional quality of care and expertise. What a terrific price for a review of all your organs, pelvis, and breasts. Shay even does electrocardiography, so I added that and am so happy knowing what's going on in my entire body now! I went in to see why my abdomen was so bloated and check my dense breasts, and came out with so much more info! There's no way of getting in the building, someone has to open it from the inside. We tried calling them several different times to no response. Their office isn't open and no one isn't coming out. This looks like a scam and no one is helping me get a refund. All I need is an ultrasound for my girlfriend to make sure our baby is okay. We knocked at 12:55pm no answer, we waited till around 1:10 and still no answer. Don't waste your money here, go elsewhere, and I doubt these 5 star reviews and real. read more

They told me nothing of what to expect. Nobody answers the phone. The facility itself is in a well-hidden unmarked office inside a locked anonymous glass building off the 55. It all feels unregulated and a bit chaotic. So I cancelled and will have to seek a refund through Groupon. None of this inspires any confidence for those seeking a private medical procedure as the staff does not seem to know what they're doing. If front office bungling is any indication of the quality of evaluation and treatment you get here, patients are well advised to look elsewhere. read more

Although the staff was pleasant, I purchased a GROUPON for a FULL BODY SCAN for two persons (which should have told me something). and, in my opinion, I did NOT get what I paid for. I inquired as to how much time I should calendar for my visit. I was repeatedly told one hour. I was there one half hour early for my 11:00am appointment, but was not seen until 11:30am because the 10am appointment arrived at 10:45am (so I had to suffer). I was not completed with the service until 1:15p. I was placed in a small room (with no apparent ventilation). The room accommodated three (3) patient beds and the beds were separated by folding room dividers. Very little privacy and it seemed to me, there was no COVID Safe distancing; there were three (3) people in my little cubicle. I was NOT given a FULL BODY SCAN. I was given ultra sound examinations, of certain portions of my body, uterus, kidney, liver and arteries and heart. Ordinarily, I would have been pleased, but I paid the discounted price for a $1000 FULL BODY SCAN and I believe it was false advertising. Lastly, and of significant importance, the results were explained to me by the receptionist, in the waiting room. NO PRIVACY, no consideration of HIPPA. I was told I could not use my Groupon in time (April) before expiration and if I called Groupon and got a refund they would take care of my appointment with them directly. I had a very good experience at this office this week! Got an appointment very easily when I called & texted, and the staff was excellent. Christine was very kind and helpful, and Shay also couldn't have been any lovelier! I got the ultrasound that I needed of my thyroid, did a full body scan, and added in the heart scan as well, because why not? Knowledge is always power and catching things early and being aware of them is crucial to good health! I scheduled an appt. with Optima Ultrasound (OU) to conduct ultrasound testing to determine if there were any health issues I needed to bring to my private doctor's attention. NOTE: Several weeks before my ultrasound appt., I was unable to locate information about the credentials OU's employees must have to conduct the ultrasound scans or to interpret the results. After my OU ultrasound on 2/22/21, a woman "interpreted" the results. Regarding my carotid arteries: OU found that my right c-artery was "65%" blocked with plaque and my left c-artery was "35%" blocked. Being concerned, I took OU's results to my private doctor. He chose to conduct his own ultrasound scan of my c-arteries and found that my right c-artery was actually 80-99% blocked and my left c-artery showed the identical results as OU's results. With this new info I posted a review on YELP in late March suggesting, "Buyer Beware," and gave them 1-star. On April 4, 2021, I received a phone call from "Shay" at OU advising me OU would offer me a full refund and she asked if I would remove my review. By April 13, 2021 I hadn't received the refund and again posted a review indicating it seemed in poor business practice to promise something and then not deliver. The next day on April 14, 2021, Shay texted me a copy of the "check" dated April 6, 2021, and Shay said OU sent the previous date on April 13, 2021. Shay explained they had sent a Money Order because their business ran out of checks. I looked closely at the texted and mailed Money Order and noted that it was unsigned. On April 16, 2021, a signed, check/money order arrived. A couple concerns. First, OU is permitted to advertise that they offer a "Full Body Scan" when in fact, they only scan on your neck and torso. Second, I am used to having a doctor interpret the results and not a sonographer. Third, I was pressured to remove my review after a phone call on 4/4/21 and again in the first week of May 2021. Regardless, having the ultrasound with OU laid the foundation so I could then address it with my doctor. Even though there was incongruence between OU's results of the right c-artery and my doctor's result, having had the OU scan, I would never have known my c-arteries were a serious issue. read more

I have always been curious about a full body scan and came across a Groupon deal that I jumped on immediately. Everyone at Optima Ultrasound were so nice, accommodating and professional. I didn't feel uncomfortable while doing any of the procedures. They talked me through what they were doing next and kept me in the loop if they saw anything abnormal and normal.
