I was traveling through town and my battery died when I tried to start my car in the hotel in the morning. I called this repair shop because I needed my battery replaced quickly, so I could get back on the road. When I first spoke to the lady, she said that she could have a battery that fit my car, delivered to the shop in under an hour and they could install it right away. This sounded like a good solution. I went to the shop, they took out the old battery and the lady said the battery was on its way and should be there soon. I went to get lunch nearby and returned an hour later. To my surprise, there was no battery in my car. I asked the lady what was going on and she said there was some mix up with the battery supplier and the battery was never sent. She said it was the suppliers fault, that she just spoke to them and they were rushing over the battery now. I just had to wait another 20 minutes. I was not happy, but mistakes happen and another 20 minutes seemed okay. Another hour went by and there was still no battery delivery. I asked her again, where is the battery. All she could say is "the guy is on his way". 30 more minutes passed and still no battery. I was very annoyed and worried, because I had been waiting 3 hours for a battery, my car was disassembled and it was already 4pm at this point. To my surprise, the lady just closed-up the office and started to walk to her car to go home, leaving me there in the shop with no idea if my car was going to be fixed. Fortunately, the battery did arrive about 30 minutes later and one of the mechanics who was still around installed it for me. As I mentioned, the mechanic was good. But the lady is terrible at taking care of customers. She most likely created the problem by not ordering the battery from the vendor correctly (although she blamed them), took no ownership of solving the problem and essentially left to go home with the problem not resolved and with a customer left hanging. Also she quoted me $500 and when the mechanic went to charge me, it was $575. But since the lady went home already he had to charge me the higher price, since nobody could reach her.

Unfortunately, the other shop gave me very few answers. I paid $305 for the diagnosis, but the report I received from the other shop was extremely basic. They also didn't give me a list of the parts that needed to be replaced, a breakdown of the labor costs, or much of an explanation of how they came to the conclusion that I needed a $4,800 repair. When I asked for more information, they were irritated with me and very dismissive. When I went to CARS, the experience was completely different. Michelle, the Office Manager, has been wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable about automotive repairs, but more importantly, she knows how to explain things in a way that makes sense to someone who isn't a mechanic. She genuinely wants her customers to understand what's going on with their vehicle and feel comfortable with their options. I never felt rushed, talked down to, or pressured. At CARS, asking questions is welcomed, and you're treated with patience and respect. I'm extremely grateful to Michelle and CARS for their patience, kindness, and willingness to help. I can't say enough good things about Michelle, Hank, and the entire team at Cars LLC. From the beginning, they genuinely cared about helping us solve the problem instead of just trying to sell us unnecessary repairs. Their honesty, experience, and commitment to customer satisfaction really set them apart. Our check engine light kept coming on because of the mass airflow sensor. I had replaced it myself at least a dozen times using a sensor purchased from a local auto parts store, but the problem always came back. Michelle's years of experience led her to suggest that the issue might be that the replacement sensor wasn't an OEM part. We took her advice, installed an OEM sensor, and the problem has been completely resolved ever since. I came in for an oil change and he did a free inspection. He did let me know the valve cover had to be replaced due to it leaking. He sent me a picture via text message which was great as I work during the day. Everything got done the same day and I will definitely be back as his attention to detail is above and beyond. The finished paint results had running paint drips appearance on the bottom passenger door, and not smooth looking paint. Also when they returned my car after putting it back together one of the tires was NOT installed correctly! I drove the car with the Tire bolts very loose, that the tire could have easily came off!!
