The owner of the shop is a blessing all around. I was on a travel job in salinas and my radiator hose exploded causing me a big headache. My co worker had recommended me go to Eduardo to replace my battery back in May 2019. I assumed it was my battery but Eduardo kindly explained that the problem was more my starter and a bad oil change that I had received at a dealership. While panicking with all these repairs that had to be done, Eduardo made the whole process so bearable. He stayed in communication constantly updating me and helping me feel much better. I even called the BMW dealership to get a quote on all the repairs and boy were they HIGH. When I went to pick up my vehicle he gladly showed me all the parts he took out and where the damage on those parts was. I left the lot feeling blessed to have saved so much money and knowing my vehicle was in the hands of someone who loves their job. I took my vehicle back last week when a light came on during my lunch. I immediately called Eduardo in panic and surely he said to bring the vehicle right away and he would take a look. Within 10 minutes he diagnosed my vehicle. He definitely makes his customers a PRIORITY! He fixed my brakes and clock spring on my vehicle, he stayed in communication the whole process, updating me when he ordered the parts, to when the parts arrived. He even called me that day I got my vehicle back to ask me how my vehicle was doing. I drive my vehicle in comfort knowing that I have a mechanic I can call for any emergency. At the BMW dealership I couldn't even get a hold of my advisor for a whole 3 days and left on vacation without updating me on my vehicle. My adjuster couldn't even get a hold of my advisor at BMW and made the whole process take over 2 and a half months. My vehicle being a foreign vehicle makes it harder to find a trusted mechanic, but I'm happy to say that I am happy to have found Eduardo's Auto repair, I will be a customer for a very long time. read more

I was working in Salinas from Ontario California . My work van popped a spark plug. We called Eduardo at 6 pm on 12/23/2021. Told him I was headed back to Ontario which is 320 miles away. He said come in. He went out of his way to fix my van. Even after he told me he was going to dinner with his wife. He got done about 830 pm. I would like to highly recommend Garcias Auto Repair in Salinas. Eddy Garcia helped me out with an srs (airbag) light that had been showing on my dashboard for nearly one year ;-( I figured the Toyota Dealership in Sand City would have charged me around one-thousand dollars total to solve the problem. Eddy was very "step-by-step oriented", and was not out to take my money. He ended up by repairing the "clock assembly" part. He did not want to take any payment from me until I drove my car for a few days. He wanted to make sure the srs light was not coming on and that he had solved the problem. The light has not been on since my Toyota Matrix was serviced by him. Eddy Garcia is a very friendly man, and has some fun with what he is doing so as to make his work enjoyable. Oh, if I may say here, Eddy charged me $100.00 total to inspect my vehicle (he sat with me in my car and showed me the code readings, and after the part was reinstalled, the lack of code readings :-) including the re-sautering of my "clock assembly" part. I say, "Hooray for Eddy! I would recommend anyone speaking with him regarding any automotive need they might have. If he is unable to fix your vehicle, I believe he will tell you so. I highly recommend Eddie, this gentleman did a great job with fixing my alternator on my lexus gs 350 called him yesterday morning and asked if he could fix it although he was a little busy but knew I really needed my car asap, he fixed it the same day.
