My two hour visit today really inflamed my plantar fasciitis…read more I shop here from time to time for groceries. And it's pretty good for vegans or people who have food allergies. So, big bonus there! Just know what you're looking for and have a lot of time to look. The chocolate Silk Yogurt is fantastic and this is the only place I know that sells it. On the other hand, not knowing where the item you want is a real hindrance. I decided to do some crafting, pick up my supplies AND chocolate yogurt. I tried to find fabric ink for stamps. No but lots of fabric markers. And no glitter? Rows of scissors, Washi tape, kid crafts, but no glitter? I couldn't find wet erase markers in the craft section so I went to school supplies. Looked around. I hate asking people for help. I have been known to leave a store if I have to ask. But today I wanted things done. So I set about wandering around to find someone. It took awhile but a guy in electronics appeared. He was on a customer call and helping a customer. When he got to me, he was nice but had nothing to offer. The markers didn't exist. I headed over to pick up the yogurt and checked out the vegan premade baked mixes while looking for glycerin. Which wasn't in the baking aisle. So I headed back across the store, in hopes that it was in the pharmacy/beauty section because there was no one in grocery to ask. Back across the store again, I decided to look for glitter once more because it doesn't make sense to not have glitter. I couldn't find it but ran into an employee! I think her name was Pamela. We discussed the lack of glitter and she wandered the aisles with me, equally baffled at the situation. I went on my way then the nice lady chased me down! She had located the glitter! It looks like Meijer has decided to clearance out glitter and just a few multi packs remained. While it wasn't ideal, I was really grateful. She was a big help. I found glycerin in the pharmacy section. And headed to the checkout. There were a ton of people waiting to help me there. Just not in the store. My cashier was really nice. She agreed getting rid of glitter was unwise. So, Meijer is huge and understaffed, making it hard to get assistance. But the help you CAN find is really nice. It just takes a long time and a lot of walking to find them. I admit, I was clenching my teeth by the time I was getting in my car. Next time crafts and food will be separate trips.

Hi Meijer, Please…read moreimprove your pick-up location signage/communication. Right now it is at best incomplete, and more accurately confusing and misleading. When I called the store for guidance, I was relayed to an even further wrong area. This was a long, unpleasant first experience and I'm unlikely to engage with this business again in any form. I never give such harsh reviews, but I know that management has been made aware of the issue and I am hoping to incentivize action for the benefit of both customers and employees, whom you espouse to value in your PR. I am happy to change my review if a good faith effort is made here.

I'm standing in my kitchen where my ring camera is on the front door. They said they tried to deliver couldn't and took it back to the store and canceled my order. Nobody came to my door. I agree with Matt R--Walmart is Walmart. You will have the typical Walmart experience no matter…read morewhat the location. But the Walmart 1-star experience for me is often due to its customers, not the employees. Walmart is not my go-to when it comes to shopping but I stopped at Walmart today to pick up colored pencils and drawing paper. Do Walmart shoppers know that "shopping cart corrals" are for returning shopping carts? Walmart shoppers are some of the worst for cart abandonment--leaving carts anywhere and everywhere in the lot. Although these shoppers have just walked through a 180,000 square foot store, they will not walk another few feet and put the cart they "borrowed" where it belongs. Instead, they will abandon the cart and leave it with no consideration to others that it may roll into another car or obstruct open parking spaces. No excuses--if it's raining, you will not melt, so return your cart. If you have kids, park closer to a corral. And if parked in the handicap space and have borrowed one of the store's motorized shopping carts, you did have the ability to walk up to the store entrance to borrow it--now ride it back to the store entrance and put it back where you found it. Again, no excuses. Cart abandoners--your mother does not live at the Walmart! Did she not teach you to pick you after yourself? Walmart shoppers also don't seem to know the use of the garbage cans. I walked by a parking space today with dirty diapers discarded on the pavement. Two spaces up--it was discarded with fast food bags and big gulp cups. I stopped and asked the employee collecting carts when leaving, what was the percentage of carts collected from the cart corral compared to the abandoned carts. Percentage of abandoned is close to 75%! Walmart could help with the issue by having more shopping cart corrals--knowing that their customers will not walk more than 3 to 4 cars to return a cart. And yes, cart abandoners, that means there will be fewer parking spaces near the entrance, and you will need to walk a few extra feet. But since according to Forbes magazine, as Americans we live in the #1 most obese country for high-income countries, the few extra steps may have a positive impact. Other option is that Walmart adopt the Aldi way--a quarter will unlock a cart. When you return the cart, you get your quarter back.
