I was stranded in literally the middle of nowhere California on a back road driving from Tehachapi back to Los Angeles on a 110 degree day. No spare in my car! I was towed to this shop by AAA. The shop itself is sketchy looking (IMO) ... Exactly what you might imagine in a Tarantino movie - about a tire shop in the Mojave desert. The shop, however does get a steady stream of local folks driving in for tire repairs. You just pull up and out comes a guy with a mobile lift. They jack your car up in the blazing sun, sweat dripping off the technician. They replaced my shredded front tire with a used Pirelli run flat and I was back on the road after paying $40. $40 bucks!!! My car drove perfectly back to LA. You couldn't have paid me $1000 to do what those guys do in the blazing sun. Good work - done fast and dirt cheap. Today - I go to CostCo ... but yesterday - these guys got me back on the road. I was told $10 to switch tires. Then i needed a valve stem and that was 15 more. Then told that he was losing money for disposing of tire and I said I'd take it and he said no it's too late. I don't recommend this place and will not be coming back. I had intended on getting my 4 new tires here on pay day, but now I'll be going elsewhere. read more

I had called and asked about how much it would be for the front and back breaks to be changed. The guy had told me if we bring the breaks it would be 60$. So after paying 90$ dollars for both front and back breaks we drive from Lancaster to the shop. I told the guy yeah we just called you we want to get the front and back breaks done at first he said we won't have time it would take 1hr and half. Then played me and said you know what I could do it for 140 at first I said no because that was way to much especially with gas prices food and everything but my girlfriend really needed them she said how about 100$ still not being considerate he said 120$ we said fine. He did all that for it to take them literally 30mins to change our breaks really bad business don't tell people a price then go back on the price and lie about how long just so you could charge more. And even after all that my girl tipped the 15bucks. read more
