A spot for the locals and anyone who loves live music. The Garden Grill has a lot of antique charm, and it's cute to look around at all the different rooms. Food was good, we all ordered off the Oktoberfest specials menu. Size of the portions were big, and we all took home left overs. Pitcher of sangria was nice and sweet. The fire alarms happened to go off when we were there, and the restaurant acted fast enough to get the situation handled. (We didn't have to evacuate, so I assume it wasn't anything serious.)

This was our first visit to the Garden Grill restaurant. The establishment is housed in a beautifully preserved historic home, with decor that matches the charming, old-world ambiance. The tables are elegantly set with crisp linen tablecloths and napkins. As you enter, there is an inviting bar, and a cozy upstairs catering room. The menu offers a nice selection of dishes. The food was excellent - the Penne Alla Vodka cocktail had a delightful hint of rosemary. The layout features multiple intimate dining rooms, creating a cozy, comfortable atmosphere.

Better late than never with this backdated review--life has just been lifing!…read moreI finally made it to Artemis on July 22nd after fiending to go since January. There's actually a hilarious story behind why I went. I was originally supposed to have a date that night, but let's be real: you'd think a 61-year-old man would know better than to take a 47-year-old woman to Dave & Buster's. I canceled the night before, dolled myself up the day of, and decided to take myself out instead. Best decision ever. The joint is dimly lit. But your eyes wind up adjusting. It's got a great vibe. Definitely excellent for a date night. The bartenders here are absolute rockstars. I started with a Painkiller. Even though it's no longer on the menu, they whipped it up for me anyway--and hey, it definitely relieved my pain, lol! Next, I tried a Corpse Reviver just because it had absinthe in it. It was different, but I really enjoyed it. Naturally, I had to finish with my signature drink, a Cosmopolitan, because I am the Black Carrie Bradshaw of Long Island. And it did not disappoint. The eats: I got the charcuterie board--fancy and bougie, just like me--and wrapped up the night with the brownie à la mode for dessert. Drowning my troubles in sweets is a must when the Long Island dating pool is an absolute wasteland, lmao. Did I want to spend my night around teenagers, kids, and skee-ball? HELL NO! I wanted a grown-and-sexy speakeasy vibe, and Artemis delivered. 5/5 stars--would 100% recommend!

My only complaint is the seating- it's a little packed, I felt like I was sitting on top of the people next to me yet far away from my date with a coffee table between us. That aside, the drinks were delicious- a bit pricey, but it all felt very classy. It's a cute once in a blue moon date spot, I would recommend trying it at least once.

It is truly amazing to see what they have done with the property. Our wedding was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire evening. I have been to Husk & Vine many times, so I already knew how great their food was, but the wedding menu exceeded our expectations. From the passed hors d'oeuvres and chef-manned pasta station to the buffet dinner, our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was, especially the sea bass! They truly went above and beyond for us while offering packages that are very reasonably priced. We are so grateful we chose Husk & Vine for our wedding and would absolutely book them again for any future event. We highly recommend them!

You get 2 of the largest most perfectly crisp chicken breasts under a bed of vodka sauce and melted mozz. Enough to last you multiple meals! The decor as you enter is super cute and continues throughout the entire restaurant. They have a bar, a couple tables outside on Main Street and many different types of seating in the dining room. We were there on. Friday around 4pm and there was plenty of seating. Our server was quick attentive and friendly. She was also very knowledgeable and even provided recommendations. The food came out quick and was hot. One of the meals we ordered to split and they served us with it already split on 2 separate plates. They had a creative drink menu and had many creative food options. As I'm not a huge fan or red sauce, I was happy to see that I could get any of their meals with the vodka sauce. The fried gnocchi with the truffle sauce was so good we will definitely be back again. The chicken had a light breading that didn't take away from the taste of the meal. There is street parking and a shared lot in the back. It was a wonderful experience and meal and we will be back soon!

The bartenders were fast and efficient for a wedding of about 100 guests, which was a huge plus. I did hear from a few guests that some drinks weren't immediately available because they needed time to chill -- totally understandable given the timing and setup. One of the highlights was how they worked within my budget while still delivering great customer service with both food and drinks. I also want to shout out an employee who kept mopping the floor throughout the event due to a leaking AC -- that extra effort didn't go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated. That said, there were a few areas that fell short. For a wedding, timing is crucial, and unfortunately, not all tasks listed in the contract were completed -- including timely arrival, full decoration setup, and breaking down all tables and chairs afterward. These small gaps made things a bit stressful during an already time-sensitive event. My family decorated all tables themselves which caused them to be so stressed out instead of enjoying the whole wedding. I believe with more experience handling weddings specifically, the team will be able to execute more smoothly in the future. There's definitely potential here, and I hope this feedback helps them grow and improve!
