This is my go to laundromat since moving to Hoboken in february! The owner (i believe his name is Tom) is great! He is always helpful and does his best to accommodate customers. I like to use 2 bigger washers (price is $6.50 each for biggest size) when i do my laundry and i am amble to fit 2 weeks worth of laundry in these washers. The dryers are 25 cents for 6 mins so if you put in 5 quarters it will be for 30mins. Every machine is coin operated and there is a change machine and an atm in the laundromat. I brought a brand new WHITE comforter, which was $95.00, and took it out the dryer with rust stains all over it. I took it out the package and washed it in my washer in my apartment. It was bright white, as it should be, because I just took it out he package. Didn't want to tie my dryer up, so i walked a apartments down to put it in the dryer and have it ruined. All I asked is if they would wash it and see if the stains come out. I didn't ask them to buy me a brand new comforter. The gentleman so no probably 15 times. Thanks ! read more

Worst place ever. Rip you off and treat you badly. I've spent a lot of $$ here for serviced laundry. They quote you one price when you drop It and hike it up as much as $15.00 extra if you have a "blanket" or "rug." They are very liberal with what they consider to be these items. This is a hole-in-the-wall laundromat. It's well-worn and it won't win any awards for cleanliness. Some of the machines are quirky but they get the job done. I have found the staff to be friendly despite what others have experienced. I'm usually here during off-peak hours so I haven't had any troubles finding open machines. At $4 and $6 the washers are right on par with what others in North Jersey charge. Best of all it's within walking distance of several watering holes and java joints, so explore the neighborhood between loads. I did get a kick out of the one reviewer who complained her clothes came out of the washing machine wet, as if it was some evil ploy to get her to spend money on a dryer. Is this what Yelp has become? Don't let a few critical reviews from the spoiled elite make you feel uneasy about stooping here to do your laundry. It's a freakin' laundromat! Not sure what else to expect, but they have the basics covered: Good number of washers and dryers Quarter machine that I've never had problems with Decently clean Good hours (open 7 days a week) Cheap and quick wash and fold ($1.10 a lb) This is the only place I go to in Hoboken. Good spot. Lots of machines and the machines are programmed to run for the full cycle. There are other laundromats that shorten the cycle to save money and the clothes never get properly cleaned (I'm looking at you Adams Laundromat.) read more

Look, there's no alternative. If you've ever been to laundromats in San Francisco, you'd give this place a 1 star. This place is so-so with semi-working machines. But they get the job done and don't leave your clothes in a bad place. Prices are okay for the machines and the services. Weird homeless dudes are in there sometimes. The staff is great and helpful. They will remove your clothes from the wash if it gets too busy. But relax they handle clothes all day! read more

Aside from the fact that they are prone to opening later than their stated hours and the lack of friendliness your laundry will come out clean. Do not go in with high standards. If you are the owner it may be nice to tell your employees to smile back and say hello every now and then. A big wash is $6 and drying is a quarter per 8 minutes. read more

They are supposed to open at 8 am per the sign. On the weekends I have seen them open late, but it is the weekend. I just walked over there at 8:40 am carrying 30 lbs of laundry and they are still not open. I had to walk all the way back. read more

I am so sick of coming back to transfer my clothes from washer to dryer within 5 minutes of the wash cycle wrapping up and finding my stuff in a cart in the corner, when more than half the machines vacant. First and foremost, Thomas is a really nice guy! He's reliable and just like the rest of his shop, a no frills, straightforward kind of guy. Everyone else is absolutely correct - this place will not win awards for its pristine beauty, sheer and dazzlingly astute wit or its free gifts for breathing on-site. I have to use this place because it's close to my apartment, otherwise I would avoid it if I could. The man who works here is always friendly and helpful, but the woman is just a horrible piece of work. Rude, unpleasant, and doesn't have any sense of decency. Wont help me when the machines steal my change and just turns and walks away deliberately to avoid doing any sort of work and giving me my money back. Always has an angry face on and sighs a lot, like she is trying to make sure you don't come to her for anything. What a great way to run a business! I really wish I had other laundromat options so I didn't have to go to this place, but what can I say I live half a block away. Every time I go on the weekend it's crowded, which is fine I expect that. But when half the machines are out of order and a bunch are being used by the owners doing their wash and fold work, having to wait for a machine is not cool. I also dropped off a bunch of clothes a few weeks ago to pick up, and they lost all my whites! They mixed mine up with someone else's and when I went back to tell them, the guy didn't even say sorry. The worst. The hours posted on the door mean nothing. You can be standing outside with your laundry for 30 minutes before they decide to open up. I put a bunch of delicates in the machine for a cold wash and as it turns out there was no cold water. Avoid at all costs. read more

Basically cleans your clothes OK. But the owner apparently hates his job and his life. I've never seen the poor guy smile, not once. the 1 star is because the hours are erratic. It used to open at 7am then suddenly the pattern became 9am. Today, it's 10am and still closed. I've owned retail businesses. Minimally, put up a sign with your daily hours. If you're going to be closed, put up some kind of sign to indicate that. Trying to get laundry done in between a tight schedule is hard enough to schedule around a "guessing game" created by a thoughtless service like this. read more

I've used garden a few times for wash and fold and they do a good job. However, this is the second time that I've gone to pick up my laundry after 8 am (their opening time) and they have been closed. The first time I figured there was some kind of emergency, but now that it's happened again, I'm very frustrated. Because of this, I don't think I'll use them again. read more

They always seem to be out of hot water, so even if you try to wash your clothes in hot water it is cold. Also, it's right down the street from a homeless shelter, so in the winter homeless people come in and warm up their coats and stuff in the dryers. Pretty expensive, big machines are $5 a load and small machines are $3 a load. read more

This laundrymat is disgusting and expensive! The washers are 3 dollars and leaves your cloth smelling dirty after poring 4 lt. Of detergent. Also it leads your clothes wet. I think k to have you spend more money on the dryer. The machines are very old and does not have a slot to put in the bleach. I give it a 0 out of 5 read more

The quarter machine gives me difficulty. Sometimes it doesn't even have quarters in it, and it's a laundrymat where the machines only accept quarters. Does not make sense to me. read more

Got 20 shirts and a few pairs of slacks dry cleaned here over the weekend. Aside from the place being pretty dirty and the woman taking 5 min to realize i was standing at the counter the service was not horrible. I must say, my shirts did not come out as clean or well pressed as my usual dry cleaner. I will probably be taking my business to one of the other 50 places in hoboken read more
