I used 2 Boys Laundromat during my stay in New Jersey; the attention, and fast service is superb. The process is effortless, they either pick up laundry or you can bring it to location. I dropped it off; (parking is not an issue). They charge by the pound at pretty reasonable rate. They also follow instructions for any special asks, such as fragrance free detergent and softener, etc. You get a text on your phone with the progress from beginning to end so you are aware when your sparkling clean laundry is ready. I've never gone to a laundromat. We can say I'm a bit privileged in that I've always had my own washer and dryer as a renter. Upon purchasing a new place in Union City and not really feeling the laundry area that comes in the basement, I figured to try a laundromat. Technically the one I settled on was 100 Laundromat on 33rd between New York and Bergenline. I shot a quick question thru Google Maps and received an instant reply. When I arrived, I dropped off almost a months worth of clothes (again, just moved, the bulk was mainly in boxes). The lady at this location could not have been nicer. She took my order, and told me it would be ready before 7:30. At 6:00 I got a text stating it was ready. Everything was to perfection, washed and folded and I was totally won over. They responded quickly to my request for assistance and agreed to pick up my bags of heavy items (4 rugs, thick mattress cover, weighted queen-size blanket) on the 6th floor of my elevator building and take them out. My clothes were destroyed with black mold & holes when they were returned to me, as they were still wet when they came out of the dryer, then put in plastic bags. I was supposed to be reimbursed, but this guy never paid me, just told me a sob story about how he had to spend his money on his family. 2 boys Laundrymat ruined both my coyote fur hoodie and a lace top. Felix, the owner, not only didn't apologize and stated that there is nothing wrong with both items (see pictures), but also accused me in lying, and trying to claim damage to get compensation. It's really not ok to be treated like that, especially when the things were damaged on the first place! Felix also stated that he couldn't have ruined anything as he is "the best rated cleaner in the area". Now I'm pretty convinced that his "5-Star rating" is the work of social media marketing specialists, and reviews are not written by true customers, as both quality of work and customer service are terrible. He eventually offered $30-40 compensation, and stated that he will keep the items, which is totally ridiculous as the value of fur itself is higher than that (the coat itself cost me $280, majorly because of the fur), and I paid for "dry clean" on top of that! I didn't take it. Stay away from this service. I'm filing a complain with the delivery.com as I don't want other customers to go through the same experience. read more

This place saved my life. Ok so not exactly, but I had an insanely busy schedule and no time to do my laundry. My local laundromat closed at 6 or 7which was well before I was getting home and I had 1, then 2, then finally almost 3 weeks of laundry laying around. I submitted a request online and they called me the next day (I submitted the request kinda late so that made sense). They left a voice mail and also texted me and when I called back, they seemed to recognize my phone number and knew exactly who I was. Pick up was super easy. They were on time, came upstairs to get my laundry, and didn't care what kinds of bags it was in. I was a little busy but they were able to find a drop off time that worked for both of us. The guy who dropped it off was really nice also and my laundry was folded super nicely. It also was very very fairly priced- not a ton more than I pay at the laundromat and well worth it for the convenience. They also accept credit cards which makes it even better. I also went into the store last time I did my laundry and had no complaints. Lots of machines, free wi-fi so I got some work done while waiting, and the prices are about average. Even though it's not in my neighborhood, I could see myself doing my laundry here as they are open late and very convenient. I am really impressed with their efficiency and high level of customer service. They definitely have my business. read more

I am moving out of the area and wanted to make sure to leave a review for 2 Boys Laundromat. My husband and I lived in an apartment building with no laundry machines and about a 7 minute walk from a laundromat (which feels even further when carrying loads of laundry). We were reluctant at first to send our laundry out to be cleaned. We Tried a few other services in the area first before landing on 2 Boys , and have been using them ever since (1.5 - 2 years). I've used the owner Felix's delivery service for three years and it's perfect. The price is reasonable, Felix is always on-time, and it's easy to arrange pick up and drop off times with him. On top of that he's a friendly guy and they do a great job. Felix's service goes above and beyond. A few months ago when we had some torrential rainfall, Felix dropped off laundry at my house, and then when I mentioned I was on my way to work, he actually offered to give me a ride to Journal Square. Now I'd say he's generally too busy to do this on a regular basis, but it really stuck with me as a sign of how much he cares about his customers. Felix is the best. read more

I had a really good experience with 2 Boys Laundromat wash & fold services. The free pick up and delivery was so convenient! I was able to easily make an appointment for pick up on their website. Felix was in touch with my via email shortly after to confirm. I had some questions, and he quickly responded to each of my emails. We had a lot of laundry, and there were really no rules about what sort of bags I needed to put anything in. When he came to pick it up we gave him a whole big plastic laundry bin and a bag. Felix contacted me a day and a half later with the total bill and to schedule a drop off time. We weren't around until pretty late that night, but he made the drop off trip around 8:30pm. It's wonderful that they are so flexible and easy to get a hold of when you need them. My only complaint is that it was a bit pricey. It was 75 cents a pound, which added up quick. So I realized that I should probably only use wash & fold services when I don't have time to do it myself. But compared to other prices in the Jersey City neighborhood it's definitely reasonable. I'm just used the super low prices in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. read more

Such a nice spot with kind, reliable service. Glad I found this place. I will continue to use these guys until I move away. They missed my delivery time once, which normally would not be a problem, but I had scheduled an early time (9-10am) because I needed to leave by 11am. They didn't show up until noon but wouldn't not stop apologizing, so I know they were just swamped that day, so I don't fault them. Afterall, the delivery is free! TERRIBLE SERVICE - EXPENSIVE ITEMS DESTROYED An expensive cashmere sweater was ruined (ripped) and after much back and forth with the owner, the best he would offer was $25 off my next order with them. Another sweater was stretched out and twisted with a broken hook, owner was extremely rude and basically accused me of trying to scam him when I asked to be reimbursed, not for the full price of the destroyed items, but for the cost of the laundering. Absolutely ABHORRENT. Whites were still dirty, things were sloppily folded, socks and underwear balled in a bunch, highly recommended you look elsewhere for your laundry services. read more

I don't think I can ever wash my own clothes again. They washed and folded everything perfectly. The only thing I didn't love was that the clothes came back in a clear bag. (I wasn't home for a few hours after they delivered my laundry and they left it with the doorman, who left it for everyone to see) Still I can't complain clothes smelt so clean, they paired my socks for me it was better than having my mum do my laundry. :) Highly recommended! read more

I can't say enough good things about 2 Boys Laundromat. They pick up and drop off my laundry and are super flexible with delivery times. After my initial order, I've arranged every pick up via text message. So convenient! My laundry is usually back within 48 hours, sometimes 24. Additionally, my laundry always smells so good and is very nicely folded. I consider the prices reasonable. I send off two big bags every 7-10 days and spend $25-$32 dollars. Price is based on weight. They also do dry cleaning, which is also very reasonably priced but takes a little longer. Felix is extremely nice too! I highly recommend. read more

This place has been an absolute GODSEND!! The prices are great, the service is frighteningly punctual, and rather accommodating, and my clothes always come back smelling great and *perfectly* folded. I'm a single mother that lives on the 4th floor of a walk up, so this service has been a lifesaver for me! And Felix is kind enough to come upstairs to pick it up so I don't have to bring it down. He offered the first time without me even asking, and not only is that great customer service, it's also very nice.
