There aren't usually a lot of patients in the lobby but the wait is always the same. The NP that I see is amazing, Marina. She takes her time, she listens, it's clear she's thinking thru the care she is providing. She has a very serious yet warm personality. She gets a 4 out of 5. As for the practice, they get a 3 and mostly because of her and because they usually will squeeze you in if you're sick and need a rush appointment. If they can better schedule peile they'd get a 4. I don't think I give anyone a 5 because this is subject to change based on so many factors. Bring a book, expect to wait.

Was told by Dr Rupa Patel, a bulking procedure is simple and would work for me. Had it done at the…read moreOld Bridge facility. Woke up from the procedure in extreme pain. Was told it was normal. Had complications. Went home 6-1/2 hours later. The staff had to know something was wrong! I called the office REPEATEDLY over several weeks in severe pain. Was basically blown off. I also found 2 deep scratches on my left butt. One was 7-8" the other 9-10". It took 4 months for the marks to disappear. No one knows how I got them!! I kept calling and 2 weeks after the procedure was told Patel was on vacation and no one could see me-they were too busy. Was told to go to the ER. I did and was told I was bleeding. Finally was called by a Dr. Terens. Was told I was not in pain-I was having discomfort. Really--I am too stupid to know the difference?? Almost 1 month later I was taken into a cystoscope under anesthesia by Patel. Was told I had a little puncture in my urethra and no bulking material was present. HUH?? How do you go for a surgery, pay for it, and don't get it?? No one knows what happen. I personally believe the 3 giggling girls that were also in the operating room were PA's in training and tried a procedure on me and it went horrible wrong. I also do not believe I had a little puncture--I had a TEAR. It took over 13 weeks to heal!! I got no help from Patel's office. I don't know why this office is still open. Apparently, when things go wrong, everyone shuts up. No one knows what happened, I have asked, REPEATEDLY!! I asked Summit Health (name at the time) (now New Jersey Urology) and Hackensack Meridian. No response!! I finally realize that when you go into surgery if the doctor wants someone to practice a procedure you are fair game. You are under anesthesia and no one is talking. Also, during an office visit, I had a pelvic exam by someone not Dr Patel. After the pelvic exam she ran her fingers up the front of my private area. I asked her why she did that and she just walked out of the room. Asking other medical professionals, they told me this was completely inappropriate! This office should be shut down!

On Tuesday, they called to say he actually tested positive for strep and needed to stay home Wednesday. By Thursday, he was still feverish and coughing, so I called to request a school excuse note. The receptionist refused, saying he was only eligible for one day. When I asked to speak with Dr. Ruby, I was told she wasn't there and they "couldn't tell me" when she would be available. I was placed on hold and had to repeat the entire story to another staff member, only to feel questioned over a simple school note request. It took 15 minutes for something that should have been a quick phone call. As someone who works in a medical office, I cannot imagine treating patients this way. If you want to avoid unnecessary aggravation, I would reconsider going here.
