I took my sick child to the doctor she had been seeing for 11 years. Ivy Pediatrics has taken over the practice, This is what happened: I took my sick child to the doctor, but they couldn't find our insurance information, even though they had billed it just two months ago. I didn't have the card with me, so I told them I'd send it once I got home. The supervisor refused to let my child see the doctor without the card, even though my child was unwell and needed immediate care. They suggested I pay out of pocket instead and kept repeating that it was "policy." But a sick child isn't just a policy. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in, confirmed our insurance, and found the information in their files. The other two employees were too lazy to check. My advice? Go somewhere else. If you're a parent with a sick child, Ivy Pediatrics might turn you away just because they can't find your insurance, even if they've billed it before. I have been to the East Brunswick and Manalapan office and it's always great to have such nice people that really care for your child! This is literally the best doctors office. my kids are always treated so well by the doctors and staff. They always go above and beyond to ensure they are comfortable and to ease my nerves. I have never experienced a better pediatric office. They are so attentive and so caring I know my kids are in the best hands. I would recommend the East Brunswick office to anyone and everyone. At South Amboy All of the staff is awesome! The nurses are very sweet and efficient. Dr. Namm is my favorite doctor for my son. She takes her time to explain anything and is informative. My baby loves her because she is gentle and easy going. I never feel judged or shamed. The girls always offer us formula samples. Same day sick visits as well as weekend emergency answering service are available. I've used the same day sick as well as text pictures to see if my baby needed to come in. Been a patient here since I was 7 years old. I'm now 19. Worst doctors office ever. Never felt like they gave a crap about my medical needs. I've been without an Inhaler for over a month and this Doctors office thinks this is an ongoing game. My daughter has been a patient for 15 years already, and this place is going down hill. For the past two visits, I have been sitting in the waiting room for an hour before the nurse practitioner has arrived. I'm not sure how they make appointments that, as a patient, I have to wait for more than an hour. Poor management. They have three receptionists and they seem to only have one doctor/nurse practitioner. Dr. Trogan needs to do something about this, or he will start to lose patients. So today I called the office because my daughter is sick The receptionist proceeds to tell me that she cannot make me an appointment because I have an outstanding balance from a co-pay in 2022 mind you I have taken my daughter there many times since 2022 and I've never been even told that we had an outstanding balance so why today would I be not able to make an appointment. The first thing that you do when you walk into Ivy pediatrics is pay your co-pay before you see your doctor but the kicker is the manager is pleading their case with the fact that the girls are forgetful and forget to take co-pays so if your girls are so forgetful and that is your plea point then don't you think it's possible that they forgot to mark down paid once or twice...If you go to Ivy pediatrics never pay cash because somebody there is stealing money or something fishy is going on I refuse to pay twice for their mistakes be diligent with your money there because they don't care about their patients or your wallet read more

This is the best pediatrics office I've visit as a mom so far . It was very clean & quaint . They handled the patients promptly. There's a great ambience there with the movies & music playing . Made an appointment 12.7.19 for my son at 1pm. Go there and was denied because whoever made the appointment did not save it or didn't just make the appointment. This was there mistake! Very horrible customer service and that's horrible patient care to say it's physically impossible to see a child because of the mistake they made. Dr. Trogan is the best doctor my children can have! We use to live nearby all the offices but unfortunately we moved and now we are further. But we still take that trip to see Dr. Trogan. he is amazing, for physicals he does a thorough check-up, he is talkative and kind. My kids love him! I don't care how far I have to travel I hate switching doctors so I am staying with Trogan until they don't take my insurance which I Hope it does NOT happen! The staff is awesome! To be honest I never had issues with them. They are kind and I think everyone is allowed to a day off, in a sense not everyday can someone be extra friendly. I am ok with that. I always try to be kind and polite because I need them a lot for my sons referrals or anything like that. read more

I have been going to Ivy ped for over 3 years now and sally the nurse practitioner is amazing. My daughter has severe eczema head to toe and she goes above and beyond to help her in any way. She interacts with my kids. My son doesn't mind this location as well. He is scared of any doctor and this is one he is the calmest at. The front desk girl nicole is such a sweet heart she always gives my kids attention. Between these two ladies they make my kids so happy. Everyone at this location is fantastic read more

I was able to get same day appointment for late evening which allowed me to leave my office at regular time. Once we reached office, the staff was very professional and handled everything very efficiently. Dr. Malaty observed my son. She was very thorough and professional. Spent enough time and answered all our questions with patience. If the same experience continues, I will switch my kids pediatrician to Ivy Pediatrics. read more

This place does not deserve one star, I just moved to New Jersey and was referred here, first off the first time i went there the first Dr I saw told me not to keep using alcohol to clean my sons umbilical cord, so me and my husband stopped second visit we were told my son has fluid in his testicles and should have an ultrasound done, this dr said it Was mentioned in the last note ...The first Dr we saw never mentioned this to us, then my son became very constipated and when i did a virtual app i was told to give my 3 week old apple juice or water and sugar... hello you do not give your 3 week old apple juice wtf is wrong with these people!!! Then to top it off my son had an infection from his umbilical cord and needs to see a surgeon to have it removed these idiots told us to leave it alone its fine!!!! I can go on with the horrible care they gave my son thank god i found a new pediatrician who changed my sons formula and sent him to a surgeon within 24 hrs of switching Dr's my son was better, Idk where any of these dr's went to school but FYI Do Not Go Here!!! read more

Dr Trogan has terrible bed side Manner. We have seen some very good doctors but unfortunately they never stay.

The quality went down dramatically. The staff is nasty. Doctors and staff members are changing so often, that I can not keep up with remembering their names. Not sure why no one can stay there for a long time to work.... probably a reason for. And it is time for us to find a new doctor. They do not care about patients at all, their care only about $$$. inconsistent care between the doctors. one male doctor which is (was) my primary doctor does not like to hear that you as the parent wishes to make a different decision on your childs care other than the one he suggests. Unprofessional to see a dr roll his eyes and speak to the parent as if they don't know their own child best. If you are a parent who may wish to not follow the rules exactly when it comes to vaccination timing and or alternate medical treatment for your child- don't go here. Wait times are so-so, avg time I spent there is 1 to 1 1/2 hours (with an apt). Breaking point for me was I had an apt, waited in the room for 40 minutes, went to use the restroom, the dr came to room and because I stepped away he took the next patient- I had now been in the office for 1 hour. read more

My children have been patients of Ivy Pediatrics for a good 2 years or so and while they started off ok, now the quality of care has plummeted. We usually visit the East Brunswick office and the quality of care is horrendous. Took my son 3 times over a 2 week period because of severe gum pain. Each time doctors refused to prescribe antibiotics claiming there was no infection, no dental concerns and it was merely gum inflammation. Turns out my son had a severe infection which required 2 rounds of antibiotic because of its severity. Prior to that in April I took my children because they were severely sick. Doctor insisted it was viral and would go away. I had to DEMAND a strep and flu test - turned out they had the flu. I have taken my children out of this clinic and will NEVER return. Also they always have staffing problems. Each time we go a new doctor is present who is just as incompetent as the previous one. The front desk staff are very nice but doctors are incompetent. Do NOT take your children here. You will regret it. read more
