The Boston Creme pie was scrumptious! with a dark chocolate generously drizzled on top. The potato salad was the best I've ever tasted. The amazing decorations including the multitude of chandeliers & brilliant color schemes must be seen to be believed. Negative: Server would disappear for 15 or 20 minutes after bringing water; then disappear for another 15 minutes after bringing coffee; ditto for serving the meal which arrived one hour & 15 minutes after we sat down at our table at 11 am; same for dessert--it took 20 minutes after we finished the main course for the server to return & bring our checks. We only had six people in our own fabulous pink room. There were only 5 or 6 people out front so why did it take 3 hours to be served our lunch & to leave from the time we arrived at 11 am & didn't get to leave until 1:30 pm. Three hours to get our meal & eat was an incredibly long period of time. It was freezing in there--the room temperature was zero.

My husband got an egg sandwich and fruit. This was one of the best quiches I have tasted and I am a wonderful quiche maker!! Perfect blend of flavors in a round individual quiche! The soup was delicious on this rainy morning! My husband ate half his sandwich immediately and then saved the rest at lunch time. He was pleasantly surprised that hours later the bread was nice and soft! We goy a slice of blueberry pie to share later after lunch! It was the perfect blend of sweet/tart and the crust was flavorful too! I would recommend Tea Bar and Bites!

Ask where I could sit? And was directed to a tiny table and wobbly chair!! I understand if you have a big group coming "eventually" it's honestly a small place if it's that big of a group then close it down! Don't expect patrons to cater around you so you can make more money. Just because I wasn't spending hundreds doesn't mean you can treat me like a beggar... I think it was actually the owner too that was acting like people had to go to her establishment. Attitudes like this hurt local businesses.

Waitress was very pleasant lady who tried her best. I would say to the owner, "stick a fork in it, I think it's done." There is no way I will ever take another group in and be embarrassed again by the substandard food this place offers. This was a special lunch for my sister's 80th birthday.

Service was prompt and the menu was standard tea room fare--we all decided upon the trio plate, which was choice of soup or salad, 1/2 chicken salad sandwich, and a slice of quiche. With the exception of the chicken salad sandwich, which was served on 1/2 croissant roll, the portions were very small--think 1 " wide slice of quiche,1/2 cup of soup, very small salad. The salad was crisp and fresh and the loaded baked potato soup was very tasty. However, the quiche was very dry with an extremely thick, doughy crust. The chicken salad had an odd, strong flavor. The peach tea had no peach or tea flavor whatsoever. When our server learned that we were disappointed with the meal, she did offer complementary dessert, but we declined. The owner then came out to apologize, and again offered a dessert. We did learn that the chicken salad was made with dried sugar-free honey, greek yogurt, and dried cranberries and that the quiche crust had been modified due to another customer not liking the original crust. Bottom line, the ladies who were running the tea room were very nice and friendy--the food left much to be desired.
