Crab Rangoons California Roll Philadelphia roll
    Alyssa M.

Great take out dinner from here! Sushi rolls are large and nicely packaged and the crab rangoon filling is very creamy and tasteful! Dip the rangoon in some sweet and sour sauce and you're golden - so good! I give 4 stars only because my order wasn't ready when I arrived and was asked to wait outside in the 90° heat while I waited for my order. I was bothered because when I arrived I wore a mask yet wasn't allowed to wait in the AC.

Fake tuna nigiri. Real tuna doesn't turn your rice pink! If it is unnaturally pink or red, it's fake tuna.

Young Asian girl that was rolling sushi orders wouldn't stop touching her face and hair (that was hanging down over her face) with her gloved fingers. She also was wiping her counter with gloves on and then taking sushi rice with the same gloved hands from sushi rice container. I told her that she was supposed to change gloves and she just looked at me. There were alot of orders being called in for sushi that night. Everyone who ordered sushi also consumed this girl's sweat and oil from her skin because it was all over her gloves. Another female employee went to the restroom with her gloves on and CAME BACK OUT with her gloves still on! I couldn't believe my eyes. Beware on a previous visit, we had ordered "tuna nigiri" when in fact the "tuna" was really artificially dyed escolar (aka the diarrhea fish) and when lifted off the rice it left the dyed pink coating on the rice. This happens alot with inferior sushi places. It is customer trickery. If the tuna looks unusually pink or red, it is definitely NOT real tuna! It is dyed crappy cheap fish. Real tuna does not leave a pink hue on rice if you lift it up.

excelente food and good service I love teriyaki chicken . it's the best spicy bourbon chicken

Nothing special. Crap Rangoon was gross tho. Springfield as a whole does not have good Chinese food.

It honestly felt like the owner might be Japanese or Chinese, because the whole atmosphere was thoughtfully done and very authentic. The service staff were all friendly and welcoming, and overall the dining experience was great. We did have a delay with one of our dishes (waited over 30 minutes), but the manager noticed the issue right away, took responsibility, and handled it really well. They even offered us complimentary spring rolls, which I really appreciated. That kind of attentiveness and care makes a big difference. The food was solid and enjoyable--of course, you can't compare it to bigger cities, but for Springfield, this is definitely a great find. They also have a robot that helps deliver food, which was such a fun and unique touch. I'm here for work, traveling from out of state, and we actually ended up coming back four days in a row--which probably says everything. You can really tell the owner put a lot of heart into this place--from the decor to the overall experience. I appreciate being able to enjoy a different culture like this, especially in a smaller city. Springfield has given me a really great impression and some wonderful memories. Would definitely recommend

I see staff talking and hardly any tables occupied. I've been going here for years and I used to love this place but now it's just not worth the wait and money. That's my only problem with this place 3 tables taken in the whole place and I get my water after waiting 30 minutes after being seated, and I'm the last to be helped after bigger parties who arrived after me. When I come with 2 other people the waiters are on top of it with service but if it's me alone I hardly even see a waiter. They're chasing tippssss imo. This is just a personal opinion that doesn't contribute to my stars because I know some people find it really cool but the robot is creepy and what if someone needs to ask something when the drinks come? Can't ask a robot and then they have to wait 20+ minutes for a waiter to come by.

It was outstanding! I had the Chashu Bun as an appetizer and the Cheeky Ramen as my main. They were both off the chart tasty. Since I was sitting at the bar which is adjacent to the sushi chef station and right outside the kitchen, I saw many delicious looking plates go out. We waited another 10 minutes to be seated at a table with two chairs on one side with our backs being the wall that every server walked by, being bumped multiple times. On the way out of the kitchen, a server dropped a piece of one of the sushi rolls on the floor. They stopped, watched it fall and stop, then kept moving. It was passed sitting on the floor no less than 54 (not an exaggeration, it became a joke the higher we got) times when we stopped counting. It may still in fact be on the floor. We waited another 20 minutes to have a server come by and finally take our drink order. Another 15 to take our food order. While we waited and waited and waited we looked around the dining room and were shocked at how run down this place looked. Dirty walls, holes all over the place, and chipped paint that showed no one truly cared, just like we think the staff acted. The only thing that kept this at a 1 star and not a throw my hands up and quit was the sushi. It was some of the best we have had in Springfield. If I could simply order it to go and eat it in my car, this would be a five star restaurant. Definitely will not be coming back here if we have to dine in.

It's one of those little known, but really awesome restaurants. I'm from Dallas, traveling through Springfield for a family reunion. I looked on Yelp for something close to my hotel, and I found Hibachi Steak & Sushi. There wasn't a lot of info on this place, but I decided to take a shot and try it. When I got there, it seemed small and wasn't busy. I was greeted by my waitress at the door, and she was very nice and helpful. Once I sat down, she got my drink order and gave me enough time to look the menu over. She came back with my drink and I asked her about a few things on the menu. They make their own teriyaki sauce, and their fried rice is already cooked (I wanted it without vegetables, so I got white rice instead). I placed my order (lunch size of Spicy Chicken & Shrimp) and my waitress brought out my salad with an extra side of dressing. The salad and salad dressing are good, and have a tangy taste. Also, my waitress kept my drink from getting below 1/2 full the whole time I was there. When I finished with my salad, my dinner came out piping hot. Since I haven't eaten here before, I took a minute and tried each piece on the plate. I liked all of them (spicy chicken, hibachi shrimp, noodles, vegetables, and rice) and they all had good flavor and texture. None of the food tasted old or chewy. I liked the chicken the most. It had a nice glazed layer on the outside, and the inside was juicy and had great flavor. I've had chicken before with no real taste, but this chicken had really great flavor to it. And the seasoning/sauce they used is good, too. I'm guessing it has some Sriracha in it, but it wasn't overpowering to me. I could've eaten a ton more of this chicken. I also had some hibachi shrimp. The shrimp were good sized, and they did not have an "overly fishy" taste. They seemed fresh to me, and had good flavor. After I finished, the waitress asked if I would like dessert, then ran my credit card. She was quick in everything she did, from my refills to bringing my bill and receipt. My waitress was very nice, friendly, and helpful. She seemed happy to help me with everything I needed. Also, the manager was on hand and paid just the right amount of attention to me. She was also polite and helpful. I just want to convey how good I think this place is. I wish it was closer to my home, so I could come back all the time. I'll be sure to stop in for a meal every time I drive through Springfield.
