Did I mention that the flowers used are so fresh that the arrangements LAST? I've compared them to store bought flowers and have tried to extend the store bought bouquets (using every trick in the book -- flower "food" packets, homemade sugar water/bleach/lemon-juice concoction, etc.). But no matter what I do, FlowerBuds arrangements have lasted more than twice as long without any assistance! FlowerBud's creativity, talent, expertise and friendly customer service has earned its place at the very top of my list. Everyone in my family can instantly recognize a FlowerBuds arrangement and the gentlemen in our family know that it's not just the thought but the call to FlowerBuds that counts! Woke up at 6am to begin decorating and 1/4 of the flowers had a disease that had quickly spread throughout. Leaves on the flowers felt like the texture of steamed gooey spinach. The flowers themselves turned color and were falling off of the stems, the stems were weak and unable to be used as an arrangement, a cluster of flowers had white mold or fungus spread all under the flower bud area and leaves. It was just so heartbreaking watching my sister try to make the best of the situation. I think the staff paying more attention to detail would have saved us from a chaotic morning. There had to be a cluster of flowers that was diseased and someone missed it so it quickly spread. Not cool to spend so much money on not so good looking flowers.

They always seem annoyed by questions or even just me being there (maybe their grumpiness is part of their charm??) but the poor customer service has been on another level. I bought a plant in the spring that was mislabeled and when it bloomed, it was the wrong plant and was actually invasive. I called to let the shop know and they didn't offer a refund or replacement, even though I had to tear it out and destroy it. (We will see this spring if I was able to remove it all or if I have a difficult problem on my hands now.) I decided to try them again and just stopped in for a hostess gift and bought something from the discounted table and the man behind the counter made it so uncomfortable when I corrected them after being charged full price. They also offered to add a bow and tacked on a $5 charge, which seems excessive especially given the lack of upfront notice on the price.
