I hired David from Gardens & Trees Landscaping to tackle a very specific and tedious garden project: resetting a large tulip bed after the spring bloom. He arrived right on time, had a great attitude, and got straight to work. The job required removing a decorative perimeter fence and a buried layer of protective chicken wire, then carefully excavating hundreds of tulip bulbs so I could salvage them for the fall. I contacted Jose for a quote on Thursday and we set a time to meet Friday at 12:30. He canceled Friday morning but gave a quote based on photos. Not feeling comfortable with that I sent a video and then he said he was able to come and meet me that day to give an in person quote. He gave me a quote and we agreed to meet Saturday to do the project. After starting the project Jose called me to say he needed to talk to me. He needed more money. I said you were here yesterday and saw what needed to be done. I was in a bad spot since I had cut most of the branches myself and needed to have them cleaned up before we went on vacation I agreed to pay more. I dislike leaving negative feedback, and try and work with the business. Unfortunately the negative reviews regarding this business. proved to be accurate in my case. He did send two people out to do lawn cleanup. And they did come out and do the work, unfortunately after requesting repeatedly of the owner, I did not get a receipt. Luckily I kept a copy of my payment, but still, providing a receipt when requested is business 101. Also After more closely inspecting the job once the workers left, there was damage to the lawn that will necessitate basically reseeding, and other issues. This stuff happens, and I am willing to work with the business. All I wanted was communication from the owner to resolve. Unfortunately, There is no follow thru on the work this business performs, once he gets your money there is no concern about the quality of the work done, or the satisfaction of the client.
