We had an issue with water collecting under our gate close to our house every time it rained. Donte came out the same day that I called for a quote, and was very thorough in understanding our issue and figuring out how they were going to solve it. He was also prompt in putting together our quote and answering all the questions we had. The attention to detail was why we chose Ridleys Landscaping for the project. After paying our deposit, I didn't expect the work to start for a while as the forecast for the week was torrential rain. However, Donte and his team turned up the next day and worked for 2 days straight in the horrible weather to get everything done. It was so muddy, but they just kept on digging and installed a drain, 30 foot pipe and a pop-up drain on the other side. They even installed our rain barrel before leaving! Working with Donta is like working with someone you've known and trusted for years, and he works fast, too! He was able to regrade our front yard, clear our downspout drain, and remove a bush all within 12 hours. I can't say enough nice things about Donta and Ridley's Landscaping. We hired them to do a complete garden cleanout at the front and back of our house in Ednor Gardens. In the back, he cleaned out all sorts of weeds and trees, removed some very rocky soil, installed a weed barrier between ourselves and our neighbor and put down mulch so it is ready for vegetable planting in the spring. In the front, he put in soil to eliminate a trip hazard between the sidewalk and the street and put in grass seed. He removed several invasive trees and shrubs from the front garden, cut back the flower beds, and put in mulch. The end was result is quite lovely. Donta worked quickly and efficiently, communicated with me and the tenants at each step in the process, and was a pleasure to deal with on a personal level.
