Edgar was the DJ for our daughter's 18th Birthday/debut this past weekend. We cannot say enough about how great this DJ is! Edgar was recommended to me by my wedding coordinator, Korie with Bliss Events. I met him prior to the wedding to get a pulse on his "cool" factor and he passed the test! I kinda took his job from him by hand -selecting my own wedding playlist (from processional all the way to last song of the night- about 100 songs). He played every song and managed to weave in a couple guests requests too. His presentation was great, mixed and faded into each song and was on point for various activities such as our anniversary dance, grooms cake presentation, cake cutting, etc. etc. Edgar was easy going, a breeze to work with before and during the wedding, and was affordable! Edgar was the DJ at my wedding last month at the Martin Johnson house and he was absolutely AMAZING. From our first meeting with him, he was extremely professional and prepared. He answered all of our questions and gave all the necessary info. We hired DJ GarGar for our August 2nd wedding and we couldn't be happier. We received so many compliments from guests and people are still talking about how packed our dance floor was from start to finish. Being stressed out and overwhelmed bride, I left the DJ pick to my husband-to-be, he met DJ GarGar at a Starbucks and was impressed right away by his confidence and overall comfortability with all genres of music. Over the year from hiring him until our wedding, he was always very responsive in his emails and very easy to communicate our wishes for music. Edgar is the best!! We were lucky enough to have Edgar DJ our wedding and he did an excellent job. From the beginning, Edgar was very responsive, easy to work with and extremely accommodating. We wanted some extra mics and lighting and he accommodated us and communicated effectively to get us what we needed. He even had the Latin songs that got the old ladies up off their chairs and out on the dance floor. My best man used Edgar for his wedding two years before mine in San Diego. I realized I liked the music he was playing and the flow of the reception. When it was finally time for my wedding in San Diego, I knew I wanted to reach out to him and luckily he was available for our wedding day. He was easy to contact and communicate with. My best man booked him without meeting him before wedding and everything went fine. I decided to setup a meeting with him closer to our wedding date since we had some details (like the father/daughter and mother/son dance) and song selection we wanted to go over our wedding. I was requesting 90s, 2000s, and current slow jams and R&B hits to play as well as some line dancing songs for the adults to dance as well. In any case, a lot of my friends loved the song selections and our families loved that he played songs they could dance to as well. Our guests mentioned the dance floor was rarely empty. Personally I didn't want a DJ that would get on the mic and try to interact with the crowd or teach some new dance steps. NOPE none of that.
