The conductor kept us up to date the entire time, giving a detailed plan of how it was being handled, and ordered us all pizza to deliver to the train when we finally arrived at the next station. I travelled business class from Toronto to Quebec. It was spacious and very comfortable. Business class offer free drinks and dinner. The dinner options and beverage service were good with good quality choices and alcoholic beverages. Depending on your distance the beverage service comes around 2 or 3 times with a warm towel to wipe your hands.

I wish we had started taking the Metro earlier in our trip as we would've made this the go-to form of transportation as it was quite cheap compared to what you would pay in America. Instead of getting a one-day or three-day unlimited pass, we decided to get direct one time route passes at $3.25 Canadian per pass. The trains get you to your destinations fast and the whole experience is great. The trains are quite modern, new, and clean. We found that the stations were very quiet and the ridership very courteous, polite and friendly (versus what you experience in America).

My first experience with the train station space turned into reception hall was a company party and I was quite satisfied with the facilities. For years the same space hosted the Beer Fest until the event became so popular that it required an additional space. The beer fest is back this year in the very same hall and I was reminded how the building has found its use in contemporary Montreal. This is maybe not an historical sight you must see in the city, but if an event is organized in it spend some time to learn more about the building and its history.
