But it just got worse when my husband was just trying to ask like why we were getting threatened to be thrown off the train so your not allow to ask questions Also want to say I only had 3 beers same with my husband so if wasn't like we were even drunk! Oh yeah don't eat the chicken sandwich croissant I was literally peeing out of my ass for days after

The ticket comes with a tour of an actual boat, which we did first, it's a steep ladder to go down into the boat so I would recommend only to people in better health. You can walk on top of the boat as well if you can't go down inside. The actual museum itself is so well curated and has SO many rooms and exhibits to look at. They have 3D movie options which we didn't do, but the museum itself is beautifully done and worth it if you have time in Astoria.

The complex Covers four buildings. Two of them are for the museum, one of the buildings holds a giant screen movie theater that screens, some amazing aviation related movies, and the fourth building is an indoor waterpark, complete with a retired 747 parked on the roof. The emergency exits to the 747 are entrances to the waterslides. The primary building, where the spruce goose is located, covers aircraft from a replica of the original Wright Brothers flyer, to modern military aircraft. The secondary building, is the space, museum. It has aircraft such as the SR 71 blackbird, a model of the Apollo, lunar lander, and other space related exhibits. You can easily spend hours here. Admission is reasonable, and they offer discounts for military/veterans, seniors, youth, and local residents. Annual memberships are also available. To see the Spruce goose I highly recommend the flight deck tour. It's $25 on top of the museum admission, not cheap, but without it, all you really see is the entranceway of the plane. I took the tour, it was a 45 minute tour, it goes through the entire plane, and the docent talked about the whole history of the plane, it's different components, etc..... It was originally a prototype for a massive cargo plane, but because it was not completed by the end of WWII, there were no others made. It only flew one time, and there was a really cool recording of a reporter who was actually on the plane for that flight. It's definitely worth the visit.

They had a good selection of planes inside and outside the hangar, although the tomcat was being painted so couldn't go near it. I see on the website that the hangar has sustained damage in a storm and they're asking for donations...please help them preserve some of this important history!

There are restrooms available on the main floor. There are three stories of artifacts and historical area information. They have a quite large natural history room with a large variety of animals on the 3rd floor. They have old cars in the basement, along with old appliances, radios, typewriters, cameras, blacksmith tools and forestry history. The main floor has a lot of information and photos of Tillamook founders and local industry information and artifacts. Tons of stuff to see...too much to list in this review. Overall we really enjoyed our visit! Would definitely recommend.

It was pouring rain so we were unsure which cars other than the specifically noted enclosed car would be a good idea. Perhaps a picture along with each description would help. The staff was top notch. We rode along the beautiful Nehalem River for quite a long ways. At the turn around, you can get out and use the restroom (there are restrooms on the train too), while waiting about 15 minutes. Then they take you back. If you have small kids, bring something to entertain them. This is better for adults and older kids. They follow all the 'Covid' rules too if you are worried. The windows also open if you want some fresh air or to snap some pucs.

If you're into the last century's pop history, this is a great place to see some bygone ephemera. We had free admission, thanks to a grant that the organization received. And this place is run by volunteers. So super duper impressed!
