    Actual piece on loom

Checked it out today. If you are into textile art, quilting and weaving you will love this place. Covers both traditional and more modern works. Liked the 1859 woven piece and the Lace work. Wished there was more to see - particularly - for example- the many patterns in more traditional quilting - the many signs in and around town were very interesting - thought center would go from there

A little disappointed but you can't stop Mother Nature. The trees and bush have block the view entirely. The stream that runs along the path you can see in spots. The road up is narrow and lots of pot holes. If the hike was 2 miles or so I would do but not 1/4 mile. Maybe next time

After about 3min of rough going, we figured out that no tire tracks mean we took the wrong fork in the road. FYI- there's no internet when you get off the main road. When we got to the right place, parking was super easy, and even though it was rainy and soggy and no one was around, we took all our stuff out of the car anyway. There were reports that people's cars were broken into, so yeah- took everything. The water fall is like, an easy 1/4 mile up through some lush greenery. The path is, maybe kinda paved, but not smooth. Incline is rather minimal. The waterfall at the end is pretty cool. Not loads of water, but you're really close to the river the whole way up. It was a relaxing walk, and entirely pretty and pleasant. It's worth a look if you have an extra 30-45min., maybe if you're going out to the Tillamook creamery or just headed up or down the coast.

The male host, "Buck", found me waiting for the sun to set (as I timed to watch and then be back at my car by DUSK) and decided to start yelling at me to leave. He then followed me through the forest on his golf cart, menacingly, freaking my dogs out, so I had to stop and ask him to go in front of me to stop freaking out my dogs and that he was also creeping me out a lot since we were the only ones there. He wouldn't listen. He just sat there and ignored me and stared at me until I started raising my voice and yelling at him my situation. Then when I got back to my car, there were three young women going back to their car that also got kicked out of the park. Pam, the other park host was on the phone with who she said was the manager, and when I said that the same say dusk, and that is misleading, she said no it's not, and there's no real definition of dusk, and when I said that her coworker was yelling at me, she said "I know my husband" and that he wouldn't do that.

She ran the floor really efficiently, got our food order in promptly, and it came out remarkably fast and hot for how busy she got all of a sudden. She had a good attitude the entire time, fun and bubbly. We are so glad we didn't go to the other restaurant nearby *overpriced and their chowder sucks*cough*, but here their chowder was awesome. Thick, well seasoned, delicious. We also got the cod fish and chips, love the batter and fry on them. And also not pictured (because they were so good and ate them too fast) we had the crab cake sliders. Been here before but didn't eat, now we will always come here for food as well as drinks and to play pool. Thank you!

For food, I ordered the Standard Burger with tater tots. The burger was delicious, juicy, and the bread was super soft. Easily a 9/10 for me. We also tried the fried chicken gizzards which were surprisingly really good - solid 8/10. Also worth mentioning they come in a FULL basket, so definitely great portion size. The cup of chili was just okay for me, probably around a 6/10, but not bad by any means. The highlight honestly was our bartender 10/10. Great personality, patient, and we genuinely enjoyed our small conversations throughout the night. Loved the local vibe here and would definitely return next time we're in town!
