    Chorizo Torta (comes with fries)

We ordered takeout. The order was ready quickly. Quality and portion sizes were impressive (especially the Torta!). The flavors were great and we appreciated that they didn't 'dumb down' the flavors to suit the local demographic. Will definitely order again.

This is our second time visiting this establishment. Our first time was amazing followed by this even better second trip. A last minute Father's Day venture to get breakfast became a road trip as many of the local popular places Were mobbed . We happened on this place and decided let's go for it. We really wanted breakfast and to our surprise they have a limited breakfast menu but there is something for everyone! We started with chips and salsa that is complementary and ordered the guacamole appetizer which is amazing. The best I've ever had. My husband ordered the enchiladas which came out amazing. I ordered the French toast with scrambled eggs, sweet fried plantains and salsa. We added a side of chorizo. We ate so much we left stuffed. Our total bill was $45. If you have not visited this little gem of a place you are seriously missing out!

    Nacho Mixtos

I ordered takeout from Garibaldi's Mex twice. The food was always tasty. So we decided to eat there this time. Again, the food was tasty, and the staff was friendly and polite. It was also a clean restaurant. We ordered the Nacho Mixtos. Instead of so many Nachos (like other restaurants), you must choose the meat; they have one, and it's a good one. It contains cut pieces of beef, not just ground meat. Plus pieces of chicken and a few shrimp, of course, with all the Nacho trimmings. It was delicious. We also ordered Quesabirria, marinated meat with herbs and spices cooked in a broth (consomè). They serve it on the side (as visible in the pic) so you can dunk the Quesabirria before you bite it. Ultimately, it was so tasty that I drank it with a spoon. We also ordered tacos, and there were no complaints there, either. It's a BYOB establishment, so next time, we will bring beer or wine, but they serve non-alcoholic drinks, including the classic Horchata, tamarindo,, and more. We have been to several Mexican restaurants in the area, two of which, I was stunned at how disappointing they were. I'm looking forward to tasting items from the menu. Hands down, it beats many other Mexican establishments.

Shrimp tacos!! Delicious! Finally some great food on the area. Birria and shrimp tacos are great. Excited to try the rest.

    Chicken tacos

Just had dinner at Garibaldi's Mexican restaurant on Atlantic City Blvd next to Joe's Bagel. The food was amazing, service was great and it was such a nice vibe inside. We will definitely be return customers!!! Also, we had more than enough food and took home the leftovers, and the bill was less than $40.00 for two people!!! That is unheard of nowadays!!! If you haven't tried them you definitely should!!! Wishing them much success!!!

    Huevos rancheros

Got the huevos rancheros and birria tacos. Best I've ever had. Amazing is an understatement. The nachos were off the chain as well. Get here now!

They offer a creative kitchen and culinary trained owner/chef, that attempts to do most things from scratch, but does also sell bakery products from nearby ovens where the quality is exceptional. I stopped in after court earlier this week. I had driven a long way, leaving home early enough to skip breakfast, and was hoping to make up for that after exiting court. Yelp found me this bistrot, and as usual, the reviews were accurate and a strong invitation. I went with a short stack of french toast and bacon, with fresh coffee to wash it all down. I received two half slices of a good thick cut loaf, nicely soaked in an egg/vanilla/cinnamon/sugar mix, with well done bacon and a wedge of sweet cantaloupe as garnish. It was all tasty and an excellent flavor/texture balance. The java was refilled twice while I ate. Service was friendly and efficient - as would be expected when the only customer in the house. The only shortcoming was the table syrup, which was generic. An offer of pure Grade B maple would have made this a near perfect ensemble. Apparently, there is quite a brunch crowd on weekends, when the bakery offerings are also at their optimal choices.

Not that we needed it (explained later.) There is a 3.29% service fee on the receipt. They will charge it for debit cards, too, which I was under the impression that's illegal. There is nothing in there to absorb all the noise, so if you have sensory issues this is not the place. Both of us are constantly at concerts and this was overwhelming. We couldn't talk to each other comfortably. The bolognese ($24) looked more of a vodka sauce than tomato and had way too much oil in it. His gnocchi ($24) was a good sauce, but the gnocchi itself tasted like it came from a box. The real star was the bread and dip they brought out. Had a bunch of garlic and crushed red pepper in it. I ate more of that than my pasta. From the moment we sat down we were rushed. The server was kind, but we barely had time to look over the menu. Once the check was brought she hovered. My bf barely got his signature finished before she collected the receipt and tried to take all the glasses off the table (she did put the water back down.) It was very crowded so I'm sure they want to turn tables, but back off. We felt unwelcome, and it certainly wasn't a dinner we needed to rush through. Safe to say we won't be back.
