This time, when I told the receptionist I preferred a table, she made a face, probably without realizing it, and told me only a counter seat was available. I took the basket of silverware she handed me and walked over, only to find there were no seats at the counter at all. After waiting a few minutes and feeling increasingly frustrated, I went back to the podium, set the basket down, and left. Honestly, I felt so unwelcome that I'm not sure I'll go back.

The only shortcoming was the table syrup, which was generic. An offer of pure Grade B maple would have made this a near perfect ensemble.
