I don't know what the other reviewers are taking about but my family and I had an excellent experience. The restaurant just opened so give them a break. We went today and had stellar service. Yolanda was attentive and knowledgeable. The daiquiri and margarita were delicious. The food was delicious and hot. My dad & I had the carne asada (OMG yummy!!!), husband had tacos and enchilada, and my mom had the Molcajete Loco. Then with the bill we each got a delicious cinnamon chip with whip cream & honey. All of the food was amazing and for 4 adults, 3 of which had alcohol the bill was under $100. read more

Tasteless and expensive. The Irish nachoes were bland and used frozen crinkle cut fries, the steak quesadilla had so many green peppers i couldn't taste anything else, and was skimping hard on the steak and cheese. Daiquiri was the saddest melted popsicle I've ever had. 2 mojitos were pretty strong but ok. And those 5 items plus a soda cost me $60. Quesadilla didn't come with anything (rice, beans). Server was friendly though. We were starving upon arrival and wanted real food, not fast food. That factor alone should've helped out the taste. But no. I should've gone across the street to McDonalds and saved $40. Just travelling through town so luckily this place and I won't cross paths again in the future. read more

This place was really really really bad. We stopped in driving from salt lake to Tahoe, and not a single person on the drive got a decent meal and everyone tried something different. The black beans in one meal had a chunk of what we believed to be plastic, the beef meal was incredibly oily and the burrito was also very bad. If you are driving through town, do not stop at this place. read more

First experience here, will not be our last. Service was great, Angel must have been a captain in a high end steakhouse previously, he was a true professional!! Stopped in for dinner as it was recommended by the hotel I was staying at. Iwas so glad I did. The food was very good. The service was excellent and the margaritas were great. Food was ok. Not as good as reviews stated. Chilies verde was not spicy at all. Very blah! Also said they were social distancing . We got seated away then all of a sudden they seated everyone all around us. Had to ask our server to put her mask over her nose. Very disappointed in their attempt to distance. Average chips and salsa, attentive and nice staff, since this place is fairly new I think the bad reviews came from when they were first opened. I had the chicken enchiladas with mole' sauce and they were really good! For $9.49 that's a great deal. Don't be scared off by a couple bad reviews, this place is alright. read more

My boyfriend came here for lunch with his co-workers and was so happy with the quality and quantity of food that he took me here for my first time a few days later. It is a treat for us to go to a restaurant so we ordered the family Fajita Trio $24.95 to go hoping to get a few meals each since it was just the two of us. The service was friendly. The establishment was clean. When we got home however, we were very disappointed with the small portions. There was 1/2 cup of beans and 3/4 cup of rice. The food tasted good but there just was not very much of it. I had one meal of 2 small fajitas, 4 bites of beans and 6 bites of rice. My boyfriend had 3 regular sized fajitas and a small portion of beans and rice. $27 (after tax) + $5 tip on a To Go order should've contained at least 4 meals I think. read more

Meh. The facility is clean and service was okay. But the food and drinks were not worth the visit. The margarita was super sugary syrupy with no real flavor - more like an ice cone with an extra cup or two of syrup. The best part of the fajitas were the grilled onions of which there were plenty. The meat was chewy, though the shrimp were good. This is not one of the better Mexican places in town. read more

been to this restaurant 4 times since they opened, always a great dining experience. they are always busy but the service and food are above average. bacon wrapped shrimp is a flavor homerun. chips & salsa never runs out.The owner came to see us at our table to see if all was good. Yummy! I had the carne asada and it was amazing! My child had the burrito, but ended up just eating my meal because it was so good. You get a cinnamon and honey desert and the free appetizer is chips and salsa. I also love the 99 cent kids menu on Saturdays and Sundays. read more

The service is horrible. It took forever for the server to take my order and then once the server brought my food it was the wrong thing and it was cold. They just did not seem to care about their customers. The management is the worst, as I request a refund and the manager did not care and still had me pay full price. I will never recommend this place and if you can avoid it please do. There are so many other options in town. Spend your money at a place where they do care. read more

Went there 3/10/2018 which was a Saturday. There were 4 of us and we all ordered something different. I had the chimichanga which was small and so-so. One guy had the burrito which he thought was so-so. My wife and her friend had the enchiladas which were just ok. It was about 7PM or so and very busy. The service was pretty good and friendly though it took about 15 minutes to get margaritas to the table. The table next to us had the specialty on the menu called "molcajete," an entree featuring grilled chicken, steak and shrimp with "nopal," or cactus, in a spicy sauce, which they raved about. IMHO the food was typical americanized mexican food; bland refried beans, bland spanish rice with your entree. You can go to the quieter restuarants in town and do just as good or better. I will go back in a couple of weeks for lunch or something and try some different things. Perhaps they are just getting over that new business hump. read more
