I've only been a few times to Garibaldi's. And each time I have left unimpressed with my food. Maybe it's the fact that they use butter when cooking the meat for the carne asada tacos that throws the flavor profile off. See, when I eat pancakes I use butter. When I eat toast, I use butter. But, when I eat Carne Asada tacos I DO NOT use butter. I use fresh, cold cilantro and onions, salsa, and a zest of lime. Garabaldi's has the fresh cilantro and onions, but you taste BUTTER on the carne asada; that mixed with onions and cilantro makes the resulting flavor profile...well, kind of gross. I will not frequent this place again. The staff are warm, friendly, and professional. They are quick to respond and overall just good employees. The few times we've eaten here we've always been promptly seated and drink orders immediately taken. The atmosphere is what you'd expect in a Mexican food place. read more

First night back after the post-fire remodel. The decor and furnishings are new and tasteful. The food was tasty and fresh. Service was a bit slow, but I'm sure that's because all of Twin Falls turned out for the grand reopening. An old standby is back and better than ever. Prices seem to be a bit higher. read more

The food is always amazing, the beans and rice are the best I've ever had. The bar has great drinks and the atmosphere is fun and lively. Garibaldi's is the perfect place for large parties and celebration type events. Birthdays are accompanied with singing, Sombreros, and desert. Prior to their remodel last year, I found Garibaldi's Twin Falls location mediocre at best. Service and food were both a little iffy. Since the location's face-lift, the dining experience has been awesome. Out of our many, many recent visits, we've had one server who didn't impress (and in fact managed to annoy). And the food...man. Just great food. I have not been disappointed with a single item. Highly recommended. read more

How do you mess up a taco salad you ask? Come to Garibaldi's and they'll show ya. Ordered chicken taco salad with fajita meat today sounds good huh well it was until I dug my fork down in it and released a whole mass of soupy refried beans. My salad was almost instantly a sloppy bowl of goo. Very unimpressed with food quality and taste there and the service was the worst I've seen in awhile we had to flag down the hostess to find us a server. They may have just been having a bad day but none the less I won't be making a return visit anytime soon. read more

Our first time going in since the renovations. My carne asada dinner was delicious. The guacamole was so good we ordered a second one.

Fantastic service, great chicken taquitos, monster beers. I ordered the Pacifico and it came in a giant beer glass, probably about a 30 oz or so glass. I had this recommended by a friend that use to live in the area. It was a bit of a detour off the highway but well worth the time investment. read more

Well I'm just speaking for what I eat here the Jalisco with shredded beef is awesome. I dump a whole dish of their salsa on it, mix it all up and eat with chips, delicious. Been going to this location and previous since 2003. read more

I went there on a Friday night. It was very busy. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla. It had baby shrimp and cheese inside it with guacamole, Pico di guilo, and sour cream on top. It was OK nothing special served me my appetizer after the main course cold. I ordered a cabob type dinner it was ok my partner's mole was better. Salsa is good. Chips are poor. There are much better places for the same price. The food has gone down hill in the last couple years. The last straw for me was finding a goat head thorn in my food. I found this by almost swallowing it. I brought this to the attention of our waiter as well as the manager. Keep in mind I have frequented this place at least twice a month if not more. The manager recognized me due to how often me and my family are there. The response to the issue with my food was not what I expected. The basically accused me of putting the thorn in my plate and did not once apologize. I will never step foot in this place again. read more

Gotta say this is a pretty solid place, being this is our first time here. I started with the basics, carne asada tacos. Meat was tender, flavors were good sauce was good. The wife grabbed fajitas. A huge skillet with the fajitas makings and another plate for the fajitas condiments and the rice n beans. She like it a lot and I tried all her food and it was all good too. Prices here a decent. $2.50 per taco. Combos starting under ten bucks. Carne asada meal or fajitas about fifteen bucks. Had a beer she had tea, got out for about thirty bucks read more

Baldi's as we lovingly call it. Has to be one of my favorite mexican food places in town. The servers are so friendly and nice, and the food is so fresh. The wait is someones a little long, but they are really busy. On the weekends they have 99cent kids meals. Prices are great. Clean, friendly, fun atmosphere. read more

This was a very interesting Mexican food experience. The quality left to be desired but the quantity was astronomical. The service was nice and knowledgeable when we got a seasoned waiter, but all the questions we asked the initial servers were answered with "ahh, let me go ask" for the most obvious questions (like how much does a drink cost). The Margaritas were horrible, they said they made "their own mix" implying that they would have high quality ingredients, but flavor wise they tasted just like the cheapest and very sweet mix. I dont really complain about restaurants but I just had to say something. I heard so many great things from my friends so I took 3 other people to eat. First all the service was just bad, we had to get up and find a waitress like twice. She took forever when we asked for extra limes. And don't even start me on the food. The tortillas on the tacos were so greasy, soggy, and bland. The fish tacos were disgusting, and the meat in the tacos tasted like dog food. I was the only one who finished my plate (cause I was starving) but when i got home an hour later i got super sick for like 20 minutes. It still leaves a bad feeling in our stomachs. The only good thing was the drinks and those little dessert tortillas with whipped cream. Everything else was just bad. read more
