It's behind the Cook Out restaurant, between Food Lion and Home Depot. BB&B has more than bed and bath stuff - nearly anything you could want for your bedroom, bathroom or kitchen can be found here. Other items are available like iHomes for your iPods, picture frames, wall art, patio furniture, humidifiers, fans and even some As Seen On TV gadgets. Most of them time, particularly with the kitchen section, it can be nearly impossible to figure out where you might find something -- items aren't always where you'd think they'd be. BB&B has a Wedding Registry also. The prices are fairly high though; I rarely visit BB&B without one of their 20% off coupons which arrive in the mail every so often. I've been looking for a while for a replacement filter for my humidifier I bought from them with no luck. This past weekend I was on the hunt for some deep dish stoneware, also with no luck. I recommend visiting here -- with the coupon. Otherwise, try another store where you'll get more bang for your buck.

First go around was with OAK CITY CABINETS, a preferred partner of Homestead Building Company. These were dark stained maple cabinet doors and drawer fronts made primarily out of MDF. They looked awful and felt flimsy. The builder explicitly stated they stand behind their quality. The second go around was installed by CORNERSTONE KITCHEN AND BATH. They are SOLID CORE rift oak cabinets doors and drawer fronts courtesy of the homeowners, 3 months after moving in to their new build. You be the judge....which cabinet company hit it out of the park?

I decided to go with them also due to the fact that they made me feel as if they wanted to deliver a great product. From the first time they came out and did a pre-con, to the quote process, design and install they did more than I could've imagined. The final product was nothing short of amazing. We were able to really maximize a small space and I went from a rather large kitchen in my previous house to a smaller one but I actually love my smaller kitchen better now because a) I have a gas stove which is easier to cook on, b) I have granite and a beautiful backsplash that is very upscale looking and c) I have a HUGE amount of counter space for such a small kitchen and I can do baking projects and other things on it very easily. Also with the drawers and lazy susan corner cabinets I find that most of my stuff fits fine and even though I had to get rid of some stuff, it fits everything I need. Overall I am very very satisfied with how hard Kathy worked on my floorplan and for a reasonable price. She dealt with some issues with the contractors like a complete pro. Any time you're remodeling there are always going to be issues that crop up, but the importance is how they get solved and I am so happy I had Kathy on my side, and I plan to use her again in the future.

While Barrow Building's issues should not be conflated with Neuse Tile, we did have several issues with NT. First, their quotes seemed inflated compared to industry standards. They did back off of some high quotes when challenged by us. The biggest issue was that they laid mismatched tile (different color shades) in multiple bathrooms and then covered the floors with paper making discovering the error only possible toward the end of the project. The mismatches were obvious and should not have occurred. To NT's credit, they did re-lay the tile at the contractor's expense, but it did create an unnecessary delay in the project completion,

And the installers were careful with our home and very gracious to be sure everything was installed just as we had planned. Even the man who delivered the materials was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, we're delighted with our new bathroom, and we know that Neuse Tile will be there to stand behind it. After leaving a close by store that had amazing customer service, the lack of employee interaction with customers was really obvious. Not sure if Kirkland's is big on customer service or greeting people - if they are, they flopped. If not, then well done! Three stars for being an average home decor place. Honestly, a lot of what I saw, I could find elsewhere locally or on Etsy.
