It's a cheap ineffective option and prevents your attic from venting heat properly and can lead to long term wood or shingle damage from excessive attic heat during the summer months. Long story short, I wound up reaching out to Jose at Restoration Roofing and his crew came out to inspect my roof and the attic. They replaced the Cobra Ridge venting and were very efficient and thorough making sure everything was done correctly.
