When they couldn't they recommended us to go here. The 2 guys at the front desk couldn't care less about helping us. They said they had 2 walk ins and didn't even bother trying to see if they had the tires in stock. It was 1:30pm. We left and went to a shop of similar size. We told him about this shop and he chuckled and said he has taken up to 20 walk ins before. Go figure. I'll leave a positive review for the other shops just for making an effort to help us. Stopped here on our road trip from Colorado to Chicago on a…read moreparticularly hot day- when my a/c decided to crap out in North Platte, and this was the closest place that could take us in last minute. My small old dog quickly became distressed by the heat (panting, lethargic, vomiting) that I was terrified she wouldn't make it home to Chicago. Thank GOD for Lonny and his team! We were taken in quickly and back on the road with an air conditioned car in less than hour! I am so thankful that today did not end up being one of the worst days of our lives, and we are so very grateful for their kindness and efficiency.

He called everywhere for the next city up to keep me headed in the right direction. When no one else would take my van that day, he brought me to his repair shop. He was communicative and easy to chat up on the drive there as well. After being there a while I could tell they had plenty on their plate that day. And let's just say my van wasn't exactly a walk in the park... but they still managed to help me and with incredible customer service I might add. Not only that but the repairs didn't break the bank! I had my pup with me and everyone was really welcoming and even gave my dog some food while we waited. :) I hands down recommend this place not only for their work but for being a trust worthy, honest and caring business. This was our second time at Kearney Towing and Repair. The first time our Class A was towed in…read morewhile we were traveling on I80. Our experience was fine - they couldn't locate a hydraulic pump and we ended up having one sent from FleetPride. This was just before Memorial Day and we had to stay in Kearney a few days because the part didn't come in until after they closed for the holiday. Once they did put the pump in, we were back on the road. The pump leaked as soon as we headed out, but we were able to get to Michigan and now came back to Kearney to get it fixed. When they had put the pump in, they only changed the seal (O-ring) on one side and we were assured they would change the one on the other side. Imagine our surprise when they charged over $600 to fix the problem that should have been fixed on our original visit! Sad that a good experience turned totally sour. Gone are the days of integrity - had we known they were not going to warranty their work, we would have done it ourselves.
