They do good work but don't listen to what i have to say, last year i lowered my car on lowering springs, came to get an alignment, and they pulled my cars front bumper and my front lip onto the curb making it bend and push dirt. was okay with it cause it's a simple mistake, but again today after installing all brand new suspension and coilovers, took my car in for an alignment, same guy who did it last time pulled my front bumper yet again over the curb. keep in mind i'm now another 3 or so inches lower. they do good work but arnt considerate about peoples cars... very frustrating! read more

Ok so it happened about a month and a half ago. I can get my oil change papers out to get the exact date if I need to. They were doing an oil change and tire rotation on my car, their technician hit my car on the rack. They told me they would replace the bumper and take it to the body shop to get the paint matched. He also said he would personally order a new emblem. When we picked up the car today, he told me he ordered the bumper himself online and put it on today. We asked about the small holes in the front and he said it's because it's a newer bumper than mine and my car didn't have those before so we would need to buy plugs to fill them. We asked about the emblem and he said for us to order it and he'd put it on for free. We asked about the rubber seal that goes under the hood, he said it was ripped so he didn't put it back on, that we would need to get a new one or he could give us the ripped one back. We asked about the paint match up because my car is 8 years old so the bumper now looks brand new and it doesn't match the paint fade. He said we would have to call a detailer and have them blend the paint back. So out of all that, they ordered the wrong bumper, didn't take it to a body shop to get the paint blended and put the bumper on themselves. They didn't replace the emblem, they ripped the rubber sealant piece and didn't replace it either. They tried to say we must have ripped it, but it wasn't ripped when we dropped it off. The paint on the new bumper is messed up. And if I'm driving down the interstate and a rock hits those holes it's going to screw up the paint on the new bumper. When we called to talk to them about it, they said we were lucky that they even fixed the bumper. read more

While driving a friend's car across the country, my low tire pressure light came on. It was late afternoon on a Saturday so my choices were few. Most of the tire places were M-F and were closed. Big O was open so I crossed my fingers and went in. They were swamped and trying to get everything handled by closing time. I came in worried about my friends car, hoping that if I needed tires they wouldn't up sell me. I told them my story and they said no problem but would take a couple hours. Long story short (oops! So I'll try and keep this concise. I took my car in to swap snow tires and wheels. Well, they broke a lug nut off and refused to take responsibility. They went through my glove box and found that lavenders body shop was the last one to work on it! Wow. So they blamed it on them for over torquing which makes no sense. I had to pay ATS to go to Big O and retrieve my car and fix it for me, because these idiots wouldn't do it. 400$ later I was able to save my wheel. Thank you ATS. I drive expensive cars and can afford to take my car anywhere. I'm such an idiot for taking it here. Ben doesn't know how to professionally talk to people. He is very condescending. He immediately blamed the whole thing on me, like it's my fault. Josh is nicer, but he's more concerned with delivering rock bottom prices then quality care and taking care of people. As a business owner myself, I would never do this to someone. I plead with the citizens of Kearney, avoid this place at all costs! I will make sure everyone I know hears about my experience. We had a couple of tires go bad on our 20' trailer with two trikes in it while traveling through on our way to Sturgis. When we looked closer we realized all 4 tires would need to be replaced, they had everything done in an hour and we were in our way. We were traveling and spent the night in Kearney. Had a flat tire and went to Big O. It was a great experience eventhough we had to wait for a bit. We had the opportunity to see the staff work with other customers and each other! It was a great staff and our tire was patched and we were charged a minimal amount. Fast & Friendly! I was on the interstate and my low pressure light came on. Discovered I had a nail in my tire. After calling four other places, all of whom turned down the offer to help, I called Big O. I asked if they had time to fix my tire (on a BUSY Saturday afternoon). He said, "Come right away". I arrived 15 minutes later and got checked right in. I asked how long of a wait it would be and was told 45 minutes. That didn't seem bad on such a busy day and considering I didn't have an appointment. They were done in under 20 minutes and they didn't charge me to repair the tire! Amazing! They will also make sure to mess something else up while they are in there so you have an issue and have to come right back for more service. You cannot trust them. This place is incredible. Listen, I have no idea about anything when it comes to vehicles, I'm very much a "let's just do it" type of person and usually give my full trust to mechanics. I'm a traveling respiratory therapist and this was my first week in Kearney. My tire had a slow leak so I got a friends recommendation to take it to Big O tires here. I brought it in which what I thought would be a simple patch repair. Shortly after getting it in (quickly I might say), the main mechanic comes out and tells me my tires are completely shot- I know I've been needing new tires for awhile now. He personally took me out to my vehicle to show me what was up (I've never had this before). He explained to me the condition of the tires and why they were wearing down unevenly (bad alignment). He said that with the new tires we would need an alignment so they wear evenly and drive right. My tires, guys, they looked awful and BALD! I've never taken that close of a look at them, let alone the inside where it was literally about to crack and bust open! I said go for it. Shortly after he came back out and gave me some more bad news- the struts were shot. I had no idea what these even were. He took me out to my car AGAIN and showed me the strut and how they were leaking and what they did and why they weren't working and completely blown. I was in disbelief, these should have been changed miles and miles ago! (I drive extremely long distances often, so I'm so glad these didn't bust while I was on the road!). He got together a total price for the second time and it was about average for what it costs to have 4 new tires, alignment and then new struts with taxes and labor. After considering it and talking with him I decided it was a good idea with how much I travel around. This guy told me it was gonna be 3 hours. I couldn't do that, I was leaving town in a couple hours for a 2 hour trip north. I asked if we could schedule another date for the struts, he told me that it wasn't a good idea and that with new tires they needed the struts to have them adjust right. He made a call to the person who's vehicle was in front of mine (was a close friend of his) and explained the situation and got my in before his- this consideration was incredible!!! My car was said to be done in 2-3 hours. They got it finished in 1.5 hours. IM AMAZED. Completely impressed. I am able to get on the road in time to make my trip and feel safe driving the 2.5 hours north in my vehicle. I am literally writing this in the lobby because I am so impressed right now! The staff were so friendly and offered me beverages and comfy couches to sit on during my wait. I recommend these guys 20/10!!! The service, the staff, the fact that they literally took me out there and physically showed me what was wrong and informed me made me feel 20x better about spending the amount of money I did!!! so I had just bought new tires and rims and asked if they could just switch them over like change the rims which doesn't take an hour for sure but jack assess where tryna charge me 25$ a rim just to unscrew and put one ready to go from me on so I would be spending 100$ for rims just to change them and there overcharged in general I'd you don't check them on there price they will try and over price you like I have an infiniti g35 and I was getting 1 singular ball joint relplaced and they where tryna tell me 1260$ and I got in the phone and called another mechanic and they said 400-600$ job I call them back to tell them that I'm grabbing my car cause there over charging me they put me on hold and 10 mins later magically with bliss the price when down to 680$ just saying a bunch of cons working there it's no good . Stay safe out there Kearney and know your mechanic, cause these guys really don't give 2 shits about you and by the way I'm a 17 year old kid and there tryna do me like that there a bunch of clowns... imagine what they do to old folks and single moms read more

My tires came from big o in Denver. They were under warranty. I had a nail in one of my tires and took it to the Kearney store. I was told the tire couldn't be fixed and since they didn't have a replacement of the tire I needed they charged me for a new tire. I came back to my store in Denver only to find out they shouldn't have done that. It's under warranty. Now the manager of my store is trying to get my money back as well as get the tire I need back on my car. He actually found out they could have fixed my tire. Did I get ripped off because I was on the road or because I'm a woman? Either way, I'm not happy. Be careful. read more

My sister and I were on a road trip and my tire pressure monitoring system light kept coming on even though we checked the tires' pressure several times. I was panicking since it was only Day 1 of 5.
