TLDR: Garrick is great to work with and super knowledgable and honest. The Long Story: Garrick and I have been talking about loans and real estate for a few years. He was referred to us by a real estate agent I met at an open house, he quickly pre-approved us and ran us through various scenarios so we could get an offer in. Unfortunately, the offer didn't pan out. We didn't put any other offers in for a while, but Garrick stayed in touch (and knew the right balance of checking in periodically without being a pesky sales guy). About 18 months later, we did a refi on our existing house. I worked with Garrick on the refi, but also worked with another agent recommended loan broker as an alternative option, that ultimately had a lower rate that Caliber couldn't match. While I wanted to work with Garrick, at the end of the day, money is money, and he understood that and didn't try to sell me further or make a promise he couldn't keep. I respected that integrity.
