The whole shop just has such a cozy, welcoming vibe. My absolute favorite is their Maui Wowie tea, especially iced in the summer. It's honestly become part of my routine whenever I'm on that side of town. If I'm heading over to Trader Joe's, there's a very good chance I'm stopping here first for an iced tea before I shop. Their chai selection is also incredible. Everything tastes high quality without feeling pretentious. Beyond tea, they have such a great variety of spices, infused olive oils, and vinegars. The oils and vinegars are especially dangerous if you love good bread and dipping plates because you'll immediately want to buy five of them. I showed the manager the receipt, finished my lunch, and completed my grocery shopping at Sprouts on South Meadows. I have shopped at Whole Foods for years, driving 120 miles to Reno for grocery shopping as there are no grocery stores at with a population in the township of 110 people.

Much of the produce is locally grown, or locally adjacent (AKA California) OK, Bananas do not grow in the Great Basin. The origin of the produce is identified. They work with local farmers, bakeries, and other local businesses for the food and non-food items. They no longer have the upstairs restaurant but they do have a kitchen and make ready to go items. I love picking up a fresh salad (some with meat some purely vegan/vegetarian) , a yummy very generously filled wrap, house made cookies and other delectable treats. They have a large selection of locally produced meats. Lots of organic canned goods, dairy and non-dairy items . . . the list goes on. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Memberships are available (20$/year) with a once a month 10% off of your total purchase. You do NOT need a membership to shop here. It's small and a bit cramped but there is a lot of good stuff there. It's clean and friendly and completely locally owned.
