I adore that they carry a variety of flours, nut flours, gluten-free, cassava, tapioca, as well as others. The store always smells clean. In the wintertime, there is a smell of ginger. The employees are always courteous and knowledgeable. The only con is that they do not have a store in Sparks. Best tip: Don't forget to bring your own grocery bags or cooler. I bring a cooler in the summertime. Always pack more bags than you think you will need.

He took the time to answer all of my questions, explained different options clearly, and never made me feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people find what works best for them. On top of that, he even gave me a free shaker bottle with my protein, which was such a nice surprise. They also offer body scans, which I find really helpful for tracking progress and staying accountable. It's such a great added service that you don't always get at big chain stores. One of the very few supplements I buy into is the optimal omega-3 to omega-6 ratio inflammation thing, so I take a basic fish oil for an omega 3 boost on days I don't eat fish and eat a lot of "bad" PUFAs. I usually get Carlson Labs (which is a well-regarded brand that isn't prohibitively pricey). The proprietary store brand thing would usually make me turn around all by itself but I had some random 30% off coupon. Which turned out to be useless as - not specified on the coupon - it can only be used on certain "blue tag" items which are among the most expensive shit in the store. Still, they had a kind of crappy bottle for $5, but good enough to hold me until I find a good sale on Carlson elsewhere. Saleswoman was just unbelievably socially inappropriate though, trying to make me feel cheap for buying the smallest bottle - tries to "upsell" me to some $35 bottle and then is like "Oh, you don't want to spend that much? It's a budget problem?" No, it's a value problem - $35 is a total ripoff next to a better-quality $15 bottle of Carlson! Also all condescending about pointing out the different amounts of omega-3 content ... thanks lady, I write for a nutrition site, always appreciate people who know less about something than I do talking to me like I'm retarted. Anyway, so yeah. Never again. The other vitamin place over by Qdoba nearby has good sales and a range of different products, I'm told.

Anna assists me almost every time I visit, and she is a absolute joy. She always has a genuine smile on her face and possesses the best attitude. Honestly, it's some of the best customer service I've ever experienced anywhere. She consistently turns a routine grocery trip into a great day. Unfortunately, my experience at the deli counter recently was the exact opposite. I went to order a sandwich and, as a first-timer, didn't realize there was a paper form I needed to fill out first. I stood waiting for assistance, and a staff member named Teri walked up, mumbled something, and immediately started to walk away. Because I couldn't hear her, I politely asked her to repeat herself. Teri responded with an incredibly dismissive attitude, acting as though asking for clarification was a major inconvenience. She then repeated, "You need to fill out the paper," speaking very condescendingly, as if I were unable to understand basic instructions. Even after I explained that I had never ordered a sandwich here before and simply didn't know the process, her attitude remained hostile. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and off-putting interaction. If it weren't for Anna completely turning my mood around at checkout per usual, I would have walked out incredibly frustrated.
