My daughter's dentist recommended Dr. Wayne to remove her wisdom teeth. We wanted to do it before she went off to college. And happy to say. - all went well. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed here (all 4) and all went well We went for a consult and he was very patient and explained the procedure. The front desk people were pleasant as well. They did call to remind us about the procedure the day before with strict instructions as well. The actual procedure was easy and no pain for my daughter. We had detailed instructions on what to do post removal of the teeth (between the gauze and the ice packs) . He did call to check on my daughter that evening. We did go for a one week check up and all went well. About 10 days post removal of wisdom teeth, we called to make sure she was allowed to drink for a straw! And they said yes. read more

Do not go here unless you want to be ripped off! My son had his wisdom teeth removed, they had me pay in full up front before submitting claims to the insurance. After the claims were paid by the insurance, they did NOT refund me almost $1000 that I overpaid! I have been fighting this for months, I have gone to the office in person twice and have called numerous times. I always get the same response that it's the insurance company fault. Dangerous to your health, extremely expensive! This dentist not only charges for every 15 minutes of being sedated; he also gives every one of his patients antibiotics before the procedure. When asked why this is important since this interferes with the gut microbiome he went into this recording he said several times which had nothing to do with my original question. I then asked what happens if my child gets an infection, and he said he would clean the wound out! Meaning no antibiotics would need to be administered if there was an infection! I then asked again, why then give antibiotics to begin with given the risks to a person's health, and he, again, went into this same repetitive recording which didn't answer my question. I then got a bill for $153 after insurance just for the 30 minute consultation! read more

I've become incredibly afraid of the dentist in the past 15-20 years after having multiple procedures including some shoddy work. I was quite impressed with Dr. Wayne's office. I traveled 900 miles round trip to have three teeth extracted and it was the best dental experience I've ever had. As a serious grinder in my sleep, this was the first time I've ever been into an office where someone didn't embarrass me, ask me if I was bulimic, or insinuate that I'm a drug addict. The staff was compassionate and caring and Dr. Wayne isn't the sort of person to sugar coat things, which I appreciate. Laura, Sherry, and Ana were all incredibly kind to me amidst my fears. I received hugs and reassurance which I really needed. In response to the other reviews: My husband and I were shocked to read some of these reviews after my experience, as Dr. Wayne is very nice & a great surgeon. I'd much rather have a good oral surgeon than an oral surgeon whose personality I particularly enjoy (although I actually did enjoy his personality as well). It's about quality of work for me, and Dr. Wayne's quality of work was exceptional. I think it should be noted that I work in critical care and I was very impressed overall with their monitoring and attention to detail (note that I was referred by a colleague who also works in critical care). The most arrogant office I've ever been in.if i could have rated it less I would have. He was given to me by my dentist. I went to his office for the appointment. I sit in chair he takes no X-ray looks at X-ray that was sent to him by my dentist then sends his girl in! with calculator in hand to give me the cost. Talk about rip off. Worst 15 minute dental evaluation experience of my life. Doesn't listen to your concerns. Is an arrogant condescending bloviator, without compassion caring only about his wallet. Left no options except the most expensive one. Looked at my tooth for literally 5 seconds and diagnosed it without explaining as to its condition. Told me I'm definitely not a candidate for a crown - only! only! only! a titanium implant - no choice; end of story - ca CHING! On the other hand I found another dentist in my area who took 40 minutes to examine the tooth and told me I was certainly eligible for a crown and that there were even less expensive options to save the tooth - YES! MY ACTUAL REAL TOOTH! That dentist is a caring over, above and beyond dentist. Dr Wayne on the other hand is a money hungry fake posing as a professional. His office décor and the message it communicates tells you everything about him - an elitist snob whose only concern is to gallop off with your money. read more

I went to Dr. Wayne for four extractions and two implants (to later support an implant bridge being done by a general dentist). The worst dental experience of my life. A $5000 mistake! Sloppy, unorganized, and unprofessional office. First red flag-Extracted 4 lower (loose) front teeth and was charged 388 versus 232 estimate. I was quoted the simple extraction rate, but was later told they didn't do simple extractions, only surgical extractions. Then why was I quoted the simple extraction rate? No response. I returned weeks later to start the implants. I witnessed much confusion going on as I sat in the dental chair. I got the impression they hadn't ordered the parts needed and had to use whatever they could find that "worked". At this point there was no turning back as Dr. Wayne had already injected me with Novacaine. After inserting 2 posts he took an X-ray which showed there was a problem with the alignment of one of the posts, so he had to re-do it. At this point many minutes had passed. He started again without administering additional novacain and the pain was excruciating. He then gave me another shot. After reinserting the post, he took another X-ray and said everything was "perfect". That was far from the truth. Dr. Wayne incorrectly inserted the posts "out of parallel". This created problems down the road when the general dentist (who had recommended Wayne) had to make a bridge big enough to cover up his mistake. I left in much pain with my chin black and blue on both sides (which remained that way for weeks). I returned two months later to have the abutments inserted but 10 MINUTES before I arrived they called to tell me the abutments had not yet arrived. At this point I had traveled 25 minutes to be on time for my appointment. Could they have called me sooner? No doubt, but they probably didn't even know they didn't have it. Again sloppy. I'm sure they simply forgot to order it. They blamed the delay on the weather! Really? Not a good excuse as they had two months to place the order, which apparently fell through the cracks AGAIN! No apologies from Wayne. No excepting responsibility for poor shoddy work. Avoid at all costs. The general dentist, Rosenberg, protected Dr. Wayne by not disclosing or even admitting there was a problem. The resultant over-sized "tent" like bridge overlaps my lower front gum and is very uncomfortable and annoying. I was willing to pay top dollar for exemplary results, but Dr Wayne proved to be anything but exemplary. Avoid Wayne and his buddy Rosenberg! Advice... when dentist A recommends dentist B, and dentist B screws up, don't expect dentist A to rat him out when you return to have him finish the job. Not sure why this has bad reviews. Overall great experience for me from beginning to finish. The decor in the waiting room is tasteful, front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Dr. Wayne Explained everything to me and gave me plenty of time to ask any questions. I definitely didn't feel like He was trying to get money out of me by making up problems which is an issue I've had with other dentists in South Florida. I found him To be a trustworthy and knowledgeable oral surgeon. Had my wisdom tooth removed yesterday and the procedure was smooth and as painless as possible. The icing on the cake for me was that Dr. Wayne called me last night, I could tell he was driving home from work, just to check on me which is not some thing I have ever had a doctor or dentist do. If I could give a negative 0 review I would. I went to see him 9 years ago I have never been able to see any kind of a dentist since . He made me sit in the dentist chair with his medication that had worn off for 3 hours to pull one tooth. He yelled and told me to shut the hell up when I tried to tell him it was so painful. When I got home the office told me he was busy when I bled for weeks. Ended up going to the the hospital 2 weeks later when he wouldn't see me. They had to use a instrument in my mouth to stop the bleeding. This is my first review in my 50 years of living. I wouldn't want anyone to go threw what he put me threw. Long story short there is still a hole in my mouth because the bone he put in was no good. The gum would need to be pulled open and bone resubmitted to get an implant. I saw Dr Wayne on Sept. 5,2019 because I was referred by my dentist to have extraction of wisdom tooth. I was concerned somewhat by the negative reviews I read but, I went to him anyways. Well, if you know and appreciate excellence in professionalism I don't believe I could have done better. His office is truly impressive but more and equally impressed was I with the treatment and tender consideration of my painful situation. Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Wayne to go over the process of wisdom teeth removal surgery for my daughter and can say with much emphasis that I do not recommend him whatsoever. I called on an emergency bases, (referral from my dentist) a few days following an tooth implant by another periodontist. Not only was the staff kind and extremely accommodating, the building and Dr Wayne's office was 5 star warmly decorated and spotless, which is a welcome change from the normal 80's decor one typically encounters. I waited less than 10 mins to be seen as it is evident that his staff does NOT over book patients and create a typical 20-30 min wait even with a regular appointment as is a normal occurrence at most offices in Boca. Dr Wayne and his assistents were very attentive & professional. They took the time to listen without making me feel rushed to explain my concern and I was out of the chair very quickly, problem solved. Prior to consult visit, I called and asked if recent x-rays taken would be accepted for my son (to obviate the need for additional unnecessary x-rays and cost to my insurance) and was told that they would be accepted. It was not so at the appointment. They took additional x-rays and billed my insurance anyway (within less than an hour after the appointment). When I contacted them to ask them to retract the claim, the office manager (Laura) refused and hung up the phone on me. When I called back again shortly after to ensure that my 2nd appointment was cancelled and ask to speak further about the matter with Dr. Wayne - she said that "Dr. Wayne was aware and there was no point . . . Nothing more to talk about" and again hung up the phone on me. She would not allow me to speak to Dr. Wayne and Dr. Wayne did not have the courtesy to take the time to speak with me. I also feel that the detailed estimate provided was over-inflated for the extraction of 2 wisdom teeth (it was more than $5,000!!!).
