Dr. Greer is an amazing orthodontist very knowledgeable and super nice Doctor. I was referred to him and have never looked back, since day one we felt very happy/comfortable with the treatment options he presented to us for my daughter braces. If you're on the hunt for an honest, fair family orthodontist, look no further! Dr. Greer has been our family ortho for years and is a wonderful human with great bedside manner and a fabulous staff. My dentist recently tried to sell me on $7k Invisalign over the course of a year. To the average person my teeth look perfectly fine, so I went in for Dr. Greer's opinion. He gave me an accurate assessment of my teeth, assured me I don't need to shell out that kind of cash, and offered me far more affordable avenues to address "issues" that weren't nearly as drastic as my dentist portrayed. When I decided to sit down and write a review on Dr. Greer and his staff, I was not surprised to see the reviews he has already received from other patients and the 5 stars that they gave him! This is a true reflection of the excellent service you receive from him and his staff. I agree with the comments that previous reviewers made about Dr. Greer and his staff. He and his staff, Lisa, and Jodie, are very friendly, warm, and professional. They are always on schedule with their appointments, and they go out of their way and do a great job keeping us safe while in their office from the Covaid virus. The office is always clean, organized and well decorated. I was recommended to Dr. Greer by my dentist, which I figure is high praise since it comes from another person in a similar profession. My husband and I both are going through the process of straightening our teeth through Dr. Greer and the use of "Clear Correct" aligners. We are extremely happy with the process and what is looking like coming up on the end results. I can't say enough good about our experience with Dr. Greer's office! Right away we felt so welcomed by Dr Greer and his pleasant and friendly staff. I was referred by our dentist to Dr. Greer for my oldest son when I noticed he had teeth coming in over his baby teeth. Dr. Greer told us not to worry and he would check his teeth every three months for three years without ever charging us. He said Jack didn't need braces and his teeth looked good. There was a slight overlap on the bottom so he recommended clear retainers if we wanted to. My youngest had a big overbite and did braces with Dr. Greer and is now in a retainer. I could not be happier with Dr. Greer and staff. Both boys teeth look great. There was never a charge until they got braces. It was one charge and no add ins or surprises in cost and the cost was very reasonable. I would recommend Dr. Greer to anyone who wants great service by an honest and trustworthy doctor. read more

My coworker recommended me to Dr. Greer when I worked at San Ramon. He was the only ortho that stated I would not need to remove any of my teeth upon doing braces. At the time, I was 26 years old w/ jacked up asian teeth. Although pricey, about $4-5k (my insurance covered 1/2) it was well worth it. Very professional and great attitude from day one. It was a pleasure going there. When I told him i was moving to L.A. he mentioned he'd recommend me some of his colleagues here, but I continued to drive back up to San Ramon until my braces were removed by none other than, Dr. Greer himself. Dr. Greer and staff are the best! Years ago I met several orthodontist to find someone for my son. As soon as we were greeted by Dr. Greer we knew he was our man! Sometimes you start working with a professional - a doctor, accountant, insurance agent, etc. - and the more you work with him or her the more you come to trust and respect that person. Dr. Greer is one of those people. It started when our dentist recommended an orthodontia consultation for our son. The dentist gave us the names of a few local orthodontist. There is one particular orthodontist in Danville that seems to have about 75% of the market. We went for a consultation there. Everything was fine and everybody was pleasant. But when it came to the end of the consultation, this particular orthodontist told us "This is what needs to be done and this is what it is going to cost you." It was a very brief conversation with very little explanation of the costs and no discussion of other options. Thinking that we would hear the same thing from other orthodontists, we are about to sign the paperwork and cut a check to begin the work. But a neighbor of ours highly recommended that we talk to Dr. Greer. Boy am I glad we did! He did a comprehensive examination on our son and talked to him about what he was looking at and options available. He then sat down with all of us in his office and really talked about different ways to correct the issues our son had (overbite and rotated tooth). Going over the various options, we started to lean toward a course of treatment which happened to be the same treatment recommended by the other orthodontist. There was just one difference between the treatments - Dr. Greer's treatment was HALF the cost of the other orthodontist's. Since then, my other son, my wife and even I have had orthodontic treatment with Dr. Greer. I was never happy with teeth. My dentist recommended braces when I was a kid but we couldn't afford them. So I resigned my self to going through life with crooked teeth and smiling without showing a lot of teeth. I thought about orthodontics as an adult but I didn't want to be wearing braces for a year or two. I brought this up with Dr. Greer and after an examination, he said I was a good candidate for aligners - clear mouth guards that can't be seen when you're wearing them. (Think "Invisalign".) The cost was extremely reasonable and when the aligner manufacturer proposed a 12 month course of treatment, Dr. Greer went to bat for me and got them to agree to a 6 month treatment. This achieved the same results in half the time AND reduced the price significantly. If you need orthodontic work, your dentist may recommend an orthodontist. I would highly suggest you get a second opinion. The consultations are free and you learn a lot from talking to two (or three) different providers. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend you consult with Dr. Greer. I can't say enough about Dr. Greer and his staff. They are the best! read more

All three of my kids had braces through Dr. Greer. He is very professional, patient, And great with kids. His office staff is friendly and kind. Their teeth came out perfect! Funny. I already reviewed Dr. Greer and now thats disappeared. Hmmm???? I would not recommend Dr. Greer for any work. He is overpriced and took complete advantage of a divorce settlement. He refused to allow me to have any say in my childs' orthodontia until I threatened him with a lawsuit. He was in the middle of a two-phase treatment for which other dentists said was completely unecessary for a Class II maocclusion. He ended up charging almost $9000 for simple braces that any other respectable orthodontist would have done for under $5000. Dr. Greer is simply in it for the money. Beware his pricing, and I highly recommend getting other opininions. Avoid his favorite high priced two-phased approach which by all published reports offers no advantage. Do your research before selecting a treatment plan. Dr. Greer won't provide the truth or even provide ADA recommended guidelines of published studies in support of his recommendation. read more

Dr. Greer I want to say thank you and glad I received the referral from Erik Head. I finally graduated and won't be coming back unless I need to get a retainer replaced :). Jodey and the rest of the gang are fantastic. I was really sad to get the news today that I would no longer have to come back every 3 months; however, I am very happy and pleased with the results. Many friends have complemented me over my progress and continue to tell me I have a great smile. I originally came in as my back teeth were rubbing so my bite was off. The braces, bands and guard really helped. I wish I paid more attention and was more diligent in following doctors orders. I recently wore my mouth guard and could feel that my teeth had shifted a bit :( Kids, students and those in the process follow orders the best you can. I followed the regiment about 75% of the time, but wish I had more time in those metal bad boys to get everything on point, but oh well. At least I have the mouth guard to work on my bite. Don't get me wrong Dr. Greer will not let you go to the next stage and he KNOWS if you have been following regiment. He can only encourage you so much. Dr. Greer explained the different types of options and was patience with me. He even went over the procedure and explanation a few times before I made my final choice. Office staff is super nice and friendly. I did show up late a handful of times, but never uncured a late fee. SUPER NICE OF YOU ALL! Could have made several hundred off me by the time I finished with my braces. Scheduling appointments that worked best for me was easy. There NEVER was a wait. Dr. Greer and Jodey were always on time, diligent, and I never had any problems through the procedure. My dad a few incidences where the wires broke and needed to be refit. Dr. Greer does offer weekend appointment, but partially through the year. Keep of the great professional work. read more

Our daughter was in need of braces in 4th grade. We had 4 consultations at 4 different Orthodontists. Dr. Greer gave us the most comprehensive consultation! He not only spoke to us, but also directly to our daughter, answering any and all questions honestly. We found the pricing to actually be less that the others, some by quite a bit. We had to go through 2 stages and have been with Dr. Greer and his staff for nearly 5 years. Throughout this time, our family was made to feel like a part of theirs. Ms. Joni runs the front office with ease, never forgetting a reminder call! Ms. Jodi assist Dr Greer and never forgets the last conversation. it's like picking up right where you left off. Ms. Lisa does the billing and always has a kind word to offer. And lastly, Dr. Greer. When given a phone call, he responds not only within the day, but usually within hours! I love that he speaks directly to the patient giving them so much respect. When we needed to consult with our dentist, we found that he had already called and spoken to him even before we did. With all the appointments over 5 years, I do not remember one running late. The office is always clean, professional and friendly. We were always greeted with a smile, by every single staff member. Needless to say, I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about them. To date, we have referred at least 10 families. All of whom love Dr. Greer and his staff!
