Dr. Will is amazing and the entire office is wonderful! My daughter started to have her teeth treated with Dr. Will since age 13. But her teeth has additional problems so that she needed to go through 2nd braces. Dr. Will spent extra time discussing with her oral surgeon, which was complicated, and came up with treatment plans. We are very happy with the entire process. The office staff is friendly and efficient; the environment is super spacious and clean. The experience is extremely joyful. Two of my kids have came in for consultations in the past year. Earlier this year, we shared with Dr. Schlicher that we might be moving in the summer. Our daughter was referred to an orthodontist by her dentist due to overcrowding as her adult teeth began growing in. I did a LOT of research on orthodontists and many seem to favor a two phased (early-late braces) approach, which we didn't want to do unless absolutely necessary. I spoke with Dr. Will before coming in for an initial consultation and my concerns were put at ease. We have been coming in for regular check-ups to monitor how things are progressing for a couple years and are likely a few years off until she'll need braces. All of the staff are extremely friendly...all of the time. Dr. Will has great bedside manner especially with our very shy daughter. We lost track of her regular check-up during Covid and the office called to remind us... it was super easy and we were very impressed with the cleanliness and precautions. We really liked the fact that you weren't asked to make a financial commitment until active treatment began and that they would give you the full cost of treatment upfront. I never thought I would say this, but I'm almost looking forward to her getting braces based on our experience thus far. I will post an update after after treatment begins! read more

I can not say enough good things about Dr.Schilcher. My daughter has extreme anxiety about doing any dental procedures and he was extremely understanding with her. He explained everything in a way she would understand and was always honest with her . The staff was extremely kind and understanding (as they should be with being a pediatric practice) Dr.Schicher also didn't approach my daughter with a one-size-fits-all plan. We have had a great experience at Schlicher Orthodontics. We were referred by my son's dentist because he may need braces so we scheduled an appointment with Dr. Will. I was pleasantly surprised that he was completely honest in that first appointment that nothing really was to be done at this point. My personal experience- I was given braces at the first discussion of it. He explained that we can see how things progress in the next year. At our follow up appointment, again he was honest in the treatment plan that did not require braces at this point. He is also great at explaining things to the patient-kid, giving them the respect and responsibility of caring for their teeth. Dr. Will is extremely patient but also knowledgeable and an expert in his field. The office is modern and very clean, from the spacious waiting room to the welcoming office. Really welcoming staff and Dr. Will is very nice. Everyone was very informative and answered any questions I had. I went to get replacement wired retainers because my previous ones had cracked (they are the plastic kind that don't last as long as the wired kinds). I came in for my appointment to get a mold of my teeth taken, which went by pretty quick. Instead of taking a plaster mold of my teeth (which always made me uncomfortable), they had a scanner that takes a 3d model of your teeth which is then used as a mold. All of the equipment at this office seemed very new and advanced! After that, I came in the following week to pick up my new retainers. They even gave me a 3d print-out of my teeth to keep when I came to pick up my new retainers the following week (lol!). Highly recommend this place. read more

Like many, I had braces when I was a teen. Like many, I misplaced my retainer. Chaos ensued. Ok, well not chaos, but my teeth began to move. I had moderate spacing occurring in my four middle upper teeth (#7, 8, 9, 10). It was enough to make my smile look pretty unsightly considering all the money that was spent on braces. I began to seek an orthodontist to remedy it and was floored when I learned I was looking at several thousand $$$ for Invisalign. I came to Dr. Schlicher after seeing two other orthodontists. Of course, my experience was no different from the other reviewers here: he was kind, attentive, competent, knowledgable, etc. But aside from his professional demeanor and conduct (and him being the most affordable), Dr. Schlicher did something quite special that I would like to point out. He explained my ortho options thoroughly, but after I was done asking questions, he said something unexpected: "perhaps orthodontics is not the best solution for you." He explained a method called "bonding," a technique to artificially enlarge your teeth using filler material that is indistinguishable from your natural teeth. This would not only fill in the gaps, but make my teeth larger, an ancillary benefit for me since my teeth were a bit small for my face and large, melon-sized head. After much research and a few consultations, I found Dr. Maggie Chao and had the procedure done at a quarter of the price as compared to Invisalign. The point of this story is that Dr. Schlicher, by recommending a procedure totally separate from his practice, proved to me that he places his patients' interests above his own. Because of his advice, I have achieved even better results than I was aiming for at a fraction of the price. I was ready to shell out the thousands for Invisalign, but due to Dr. Schlicher, I didn't have to. And that makes me smile...bigtime. THANK YOU DR. SCHLICHER; YOU DA MAN, MAN!!!! read more
