Not sure if they changed the recipe since they are now called Kato Pizza but it was not good at all. Barely any sauce or cheese. No flavor at all. We ordered 2 pizzas and both were unimpressive. Really used to like Gary's Pizza. read more

Ordered online and picked up in store. Once arrived told it would be 5 minutes. After 15 minutes asked to be told not ready yet. Another 10 minutes passes and I hear the guy in back say tell him it's just going in the oven. At this point I've had it, no communication between coworkers and employees not caring about customers in the store. Told them I didn't want it and wanted a refund. Employees had no idea how to do that and needed to contact the owner. (Lack of training) Once employee returns inside tell me 2 minutes and manager will arrive. After 5 more minutes hear him from the back asking if the guy is still b*******.​ Once owner shows up, aware of situation after employee called him and talked outback on the phone. Owner pulled the same stuff, demanded i leave, threatened to call police. After I walked out, called non emergency line his tone changed and he wanted to get me out. While refunding me he throws an application at me saying here apply and do better then my Employees. While I waited I noticed, not one employee washing hands, went to till, back to pizzas touching without gloves. Came up before owner came in and was eating pepperoni at the till. Don't waste your time, money or energy. Two great pizza places within a couple blocks with better customer service. Garys, now kato pizza is trash. ​ read more

Enjoyed pizza from Gary's while visiting Mankato. IT WAS SO GOOD! We had a pepperoni pizza and a taco pizza. The Taco pizza was far better than any I've ever had, much better than my previous favorite of Casey's pizza. The taco sauce was to die for! Man, I miss Gary's. There's just something about the people who work here and the food that makes it a memorable place. Now, I'll admit the pizza isn't the best quality, and if you're going to order from here make sure it's some kind of specialty pizza - not a standard pepperoni and cheese or something like that. The chicken wings, boneless in particular, are actually pretty good. I really like the quantity they give you. Their hours cannot be beat. They are open very late during the week, so for those nights you drink too much because finals make you hurt inside, Gary is here for you. It's gonna be okay. Just be willing to wait a long time, because on average, my orders did not arrive until 50-70 minutes after I ordered online. But hey, if you're willing to wait, the food is still pretty hot when it gets to your door. I personally recommend the mozz cheese/jalapeno pizza, or the house special. read more

Done with this place. Their online ordering DOES NOT WORK. They robbed me of $38 last year and I let it slide. The same thing happened this year and now I'm going to file a complaint and get my money back. I ended up paying in cash for two cold pizzas. Always our favorite pizza. Fan of the all meat, house and chicken bacon ranch. Delivery is 30-45 minutes though on a week night.

I had this garys back when i was attending school back in 2013 and it sucked but now i am back in town. The Pizza is 10 times better then what it was!!! I had it delivered to place. The driver was amazing and funny. He also had a dog treat for my dog which i never knew they did that. I just love the customer service. Thank you everything!!!
