I sent a photo & written instructions ahead per their request, said what I wanted/didn't want repeatedly in person, and she still did the opposite of what I asked for. I went back for correction and once again the same thing happened. I'm gutted. I now have hair that is cut far too short including the bangs that were cut in a way that left them unintegrated from the rest of the hair -they look like a shelf. When I went in for the "correction" they cut even more of my hair away and now it is worse. I'm truly embarrassed to have my hair look this way. Also, be aware that they require a credit card hold for your appointment. Your card will be charged if you cancel without a 48 hour notice. You are also required to sign electronically that you will not receive a refund if you are unhappy with the work they do- they will offer a correction only.

I had my trial run scheduled for Wednesday of the week I was getting married. Long story short, I had to cancel my trial run due to unavoidable circumstances that were out of my control. When I came in for my styling, my hair was already straightened from the day before, which I've always been told to do since my hair is naturally very bushy, frizzy, and wavy. Jessica made multiple comments about it saying "you shouldn't have come in with it straightened" and when I apologizer and said I didn't know, she made another snide comment saying, "well this is why you should've come to your trial". She made other short, rude comments along the lines of how much hair I had and how she wished she would've known (even though I told the receptionist when I scheduled) and just seemed exacerbated by everything. My hair did turn out great in the salon, but fell out quickly due to the heat. I had to re-curl my hair myself in my hotel room before heading to our venue. On top of the poor service, they charged me a whopping $85 for a HALF up-do! Literally all she did was pin up half of my hair and curl it. Way over-priced for what was done, but because it was my wedding day and had places to be, I just paid it and left. I recommend to anyone getting their hair done for their wedding day to explore other options. You'll probably get better service and a better price somewhere else.

Thursday May 19th I visited this nail salon with a friend for the first time. My first reaction was…read moreamazement at how nice and clean looking the place was. The employees were professional and friendly. I wish I could say that my experience continued in that direction but it did not. I choose to get dip powder on my hands and gel on my feet. The color I picked for my hands (as you'll see in my pictures) has a special sheen to it. Unicorn dust I believe it is called. Well, unknown to me until I got my bill at the end of my services to have this done it was an extra $20. I totally understand certain "extras" need an up charge for the extra time and effort it takes to do. However, as this was the first time I was getting a color like this I was unaware it was anything extra. If I had been told ahead of time I would have picked another color. Then to make matters worse my pedicure was less than what I expected & paid for. I choose the middle of the road option ($50) and as I stated before had gel polish applied. I had asked to have my nails trimmed short, which didn't happen. I'm aware it was my fault for not speaking up unfortunately I didn't notice until it was too late. Now it is just over 2 weeks later (Friday June 3rd). I have 2 cracked nails, the $20 extra I paid for is coming off already, and 3 of my toes are completely void of gel polish. They didn't chip at all. Just fell right off. This is not my first time having my nails done. I've been able to go weeks at a time with no damage when using other salons. My friend that came with me has had similar problems as well. Sadly, given the cost and the result I will not be returning to this salon. You can see my pictures as proof of the situation. Now, Lauren is a wonderful woman and super friendly but I was highly disappointed with her work. My sister's nails got messed up super fast and mine has air bubbles on them. The dryer does not dry as well as it should. To top it off, it cost us $22.00 each just to get a regular manicure. I get a regular manicure out here in NY and it does not cost me that much. I know it's a small business but honestly, I was vey disappointed in their work and would not recommend anyone who is looking for a simple manicure to go there. It's totally not worth the money.
