When it was time to start the work, there was 1 guy (2 if you count the dad who just tidied up) and it was going to be done in 1 day. Surprise to me but he said after they assessed it more, that was all it was going to take. Fine, I don't care as long as it's done and right. Katy Paint Pro wasn't the cheapest quote I got but also wasn't the most expensive. Turns out Jason had subcontracted the work out, which again, I don't care as long as the job is done right. Unfortunately it was not. Granted, they did do a good job in some areas, but not so much in others. It was late in the evening and seemed like they were rushing so they could leave. They were free handing transitions from ceiling to wall and not covering things up to protect from spilage. There was paint and spackle everywhere. I later called Jason to have the guy come up and finish and clean up the mess. He would contact the subcontractor but that guy would just give me the run around asking for more time or not answering. Tried calling Jason a few times and the same thing. I expected he send someone else to finish the work or something but same run around. Cross your fingers with this one.

I had a gorgeous custom stained cedar fence installed. Image #1 Neighbor to my left (Jim) had his rotted back garage wall rebuilt, the door header, jam and all garage siding replaced. Three new exterior doors installed, all new hardware. All the house siding panels replaced, rotted porch ceilings repaired, window calking replaced and the entire house and garage power washed and repainted. Image #2 & 3 Neighbor to my right (Micheal) had a built-in carport built, wired for security lights and painted. Three others had misc fence and exterior repairs. A&M has also been doing work for some of our relatives. Alec is a preferred contractor on my street (Braesview Lane in Breasvalley) and his wife provides thorough, easy to understand invoices. I am simply making this recommendation out of appreciation for the wonderful job they have done for my neighbors and I. We are so pleased to have found this family company to work on our homes.

When he showed for the job, he was professional and fixed the attic door. It had a bent arm, and we were losing heat because the door didn't fully close. He spent time adjusting the springs and replaced (both) side arms to keep the weight and tension evenly distributed. He got it done and we were pleased with the end result. DRIED PAINT ON CARPET: The 2nd task was to remove spilled, dried in paint on carpet. We tried everything ourselves to clean up the stain, and even rented, "Rug Doctor". We thought our only hope was to remove the carpet and tile that floor to match our other floors. Jacop said that he thought he could remove the stains, and to our amazement, he got it done with a wire brush and the appropriate stain removal for dried in paint. Jacop saved us a lot of money, and thanks to his honesty and problem solving, we didn't have to tile that room after all. It looks like there was never any stains on that carpet. We are incredibly happy with the end result and the money he saved us on not having to tile that room! Jacop is not only efficient, but also honest. Thank goodness that he came up with a solution, rather than hitting us with an expensive tile job. We appreciated his honesty, which is rare these days! He's a very nice person and we would use his services again.

I reached out to several companies at the same time and Dean from Liberty Painting was the first one to reach back out. Dean was very thorough in the estimate and suggested several options based on my goal for the project. After getting other estimates, I still went with Liberty Painting even though they were not the cheapest bid and I am glad I did for the following reasons: -They were always easy to schedule with and were always on time. Dean with the estimate. The paint crew. The final walkthrough. -Houston based company that run their own crews. They don't outsource their paint crews like many other companies. It makes the process (estimate/painting/walkthrough/warranty) much cleaner and simpler since it's the same company. -They provide get a very hands on involved project manager, his name is Van, that communicates with you throughout the project. -The work was very solid. There were some very typical touch up spots where the paint needed an extra coat and the line between ceiling and wall needed to be reapplied, but they were happy to do the touch ups as part of the final walk through. Overall, they do solid work with a high level of professionalism - which a lot of times is not there with home services.

We have worked with Richard twice. The first project was after we bought our new (old) home and had…read moreit re-wired - Richard's team patched 160+ holes and repainted all interiors. The second was to patch a couple dozen holes and repair tile after we had the home re-piped. In both cases we were very happy with the work, Richard and his employees are very skilled. The walls look really fantastic, the texturing is very good, making the areas where holes were imperceptible. Richard also had the young man who worked on this latest project go the extra mile, touching up some paint without us asking, and adding new silicone sealant in the bath, and being very mindful that the grout in the tile work matched what was already there. Richard was great in both cases, particularly because he was able to accommodate us quickly in this latest project, and working on a Saturday so that we would finally have functioning baths again. He is a very knowledgeable and pleasant person to work with.
