Would I use Liberty Painting again for painting services? Absolutely yes. I was preparing my home for sale and wanted to freshen up the interior with new paint as soon as possible. I reached out to several companies at the same time and Dean from Liberty Painting was the first one to reach back out. Dean was very thorough in the estimate and suggested several options based on my goal for the project. After getting other estimates, I still went with Liberty Painting even though they were not the cheapest bid and I am glad I did for the following reasons: -They were always easy to schedule with and were always on time. Dean with the estimate. The paint crew. The final walkthrough. -Houston based company that run their own crews. They don't outsource their paint crews like many other companies. It makes the process (estimate/painting/walkthrough/warranty) much cleaner and simpler since it's the same company. -They provide get a very hands on involved project manager, his name is Van, that communicates with you throughout the project. -The work was very solid. There were some very typical touch up spots where the paint needed an extra coat and the line between ceiling and wall needed to be reapplied, but they were happy to do the touch ups as part of the final walk through. I finally got around to painting my house and chose Liberty Painting after doing a bit of research and receiving a couple quotes. The process was seamless from the start. Sam Barnhardt was my sales consultant, and Van Sureja the project manager. They both kept the communication clear and made sure the entire project stayed on track although rain delayed the start date several times. As for the work itself, the painters, Miquel and Allison were exceptional. A few things that really stood out: Professional and punctual - They were early every day and ready to hit the ground running. Conscientious - They were very respectful of the space and paid attention to the small details. Efficient - They worked incredibly fast and efficiently without sacrificing the quality of the finish. Liberty Painting provided great service from quotation to execution. Van and Dean were very knowledgeable and always responded quickly even over the holiday. Miguel and Brazil were excellent as my paint crew. Arrived early, but was at the door at the time they stated daily. I had Liberty Painting come out for a free estimate and agreed to move forward with the job based on the quoted price. The person I was speaking with assured me everything was set, so I canceled all of my other estimates because I thought I had found the right company. I also explained that I was pressed for time because I wanted to get my rental property ready as quickly as possible. After sharing that, I received a call saying the price had suddenly doubled to around $6,000. It left me feeling like my urgency was used against me and that I was being pressured into paying much more than what was originally discussed. The entire experience was extremely disappointing. Be cautious before canceling your other estimates, as the price I agreed to was not the price they ultimately wanted to charge. read more

We bought and old house that we had to almost do a full renovation on and we were racing the clock for our coming daughter. With the hectic work load, it was amazing to find a company as professional and as detailed as Liberty Painting. From start to finish, they took care of everything from color choice to working with my wife on where and how to get it done. They ended up doing our entire inside and out. They kept calling without leaving a message . I finally answered and scheduled a consultation. They texted me a hour before the appointment. The appointment time 9 O'clock came and gone, I didn't hear from anyone . 1:30 PM i get a text saying sorry you had to cancel would you like to reschedule. I texted back nobody showed up to the scheduled appointment. They later texted back saying I was out of the area. Van came out to look at what I needed help with, and he was very friendly and personable. I felt good about moving forward with Liberty Painting. However, I waited and waited and never got sent the formal written quote afterward. I made several follow up phone calls/texts over the next week and was promised multiple times that I would receive the quote by the end of that day, but then ended up being completely "ghosted." To this day (several weeks later), I've never heard anything more. I've since moved on. I understand that life happens and things come up, or your schedule may get too full, but I don't understand how you can run a business if you just stop communicating entirely with potential customers. read more
