One of my favorite local pizza places. I have been going for over 25 yrs highly recommend!

Garzelli's is a good slice, in a good atmosphere, for a good price. One of the better slices of pizza I've been able to get out here in the NKY area, hands down. On par with Bourbon House and Strong's for sure, just slightly different. We went here with friends last Friday night and would definitely come back. Service was pretty quick but the place filled up VERY quickly after 6:30/7PM or so, and then service slowed down considerably (understandably). Indoor area is big, and the outdoor area seems nice (not for me during the summer months though). Overall, good pizza and good bang for your buck - highly recommend. read more

On the way to CVG airport back from Lexington, stopped at Garzelli's for a quick lunch. We arrived after 2pm and there was no wait. The place is spacious and has a full sports bar and tables in the back with many tv's on the walls. We ended having a couple of the lunch specials - a steak hoagie and a meatball grinder which included chips and a drink. Food arrived piping hot and quick. Could/should have eaten half but it was ao tasty. Will have to try a pizza when we get back in the area. read more

Stopped in here on a recommendation from my local friend as we were doing some brewery stops. The meat calzone was one of the best I've ever had. Cooked perfectly and a delicious house made red sauce. My friend got the greek and while it was interesting I don't think he would get it again. Bar service was fast but not overly friendly (busy Fri night?) and had to ask a few times to get water. Would def stop by again for the calzone! read more

Stopped here for a late night bite. We both had grinders/hoagies Italian Combo for me and Cordon Bleu for my wife. Both were excellent, we'll prepared, crunchy bread, and quite large, for under $11 each. Wow. Unassuming place, next to a recently closed Kroger. Counter service up front, full service in the bar area (no toddlers or infants). Open late for suburbia, worth the visit. read more

Our party of 5 ordered grinders, salad, wings and potato skins. Only 1 slice ham and little chicken on the half cordon bleu grinder. They don't use fresh chicken, it is like packaged processed chicken and the oil for potato skins tasted old. Wings were just ok. Our server Stephanie was great and genuinely nice. We have been here several times, but the food had gone downhill over the last few years. We really like their patio and live music, but not if you want good food. read more

My husband had the Italian sub, LOVED it; I had a meatball hoagie--loved the sauce, peppers and onions, bread was ok. Our neighbor had Chicken Cordon Bleu and said it was the best he's had. The restaurant had live music outside on a Friday May night--definite plus! read more

Are you looking for a restaurant where it taste like a five-year-old made the food and they make you feel like a disobedient child this is your place. There are signs everywhere two different registers to order here or there instructions then there's instructions about your kids. Can't be in a bar and then once your kids are in the bar they can't stand up and then if you wanna sit at this table see a waitress place is pretty ridiculous. When they brought me my food, they decided to scold me for ordering in the wrong place didn't ask me if I needed napkins, which I did or if I needed anything else, but make sure I understand where to order in the future if I ever come back that ain't happening I stood at what I thought was the right register to order to eat in the bar area. My hubby and I have been meaning to try this place and we finally did it. When you walk in there is a self service area with tables then in the back is a bar with full service tables. I think that is a great idea one area for families and one people that like a bar atmosphere. I ordered best of two with cranberry feta salad and half a meatball hoagie. This is our go to place when in the Florence or Crestview Hills area. The sports bar atmosphere is great. You would never know from the outside how nice the bar in back of restaurant is. Wouldn't let my baby sit in the "bar" section which is actually just the main restaurant area, she's 3 months old and would've slept in her car seat the entire time. Wanted us to buy drink at the bar, tip them and then go get food at the window up front. Even a customer sitting at the bar said something about how ridiculous it was, no one was even in the restaurant??! Very rude, we came here all the time but doubt we will be back. This is such a tasty little place! A local love if you will! We got some grinders (meatball, buffalo, and chkn parm) a combo grinder with salad, fries and garlic bread as a pick up order. Really great pizza! The outside section is wonderful on a breezy day and in the evening. The staff are very kind and helpful.

I was at this restaurant for a party. I ordered a lemon drop martini and it was surprisingly good. I also ordered the 15" Garzelli's Grande pizza. It was enough for two of us for a dinner. The toppings were average but the bottom of the crust seemed a bit soggy. The employees were all friendly. The atmosphere is typical for most Sports bars. They do have a very nice large patio out back which would be nice in the warmer months. read more

NOT FOR FAMILIES! We wanted to try Garzelli's after hearing good things. Unfortunately when we arrived there was a big sign saying no children in the area with table service. We asked a member of staff and they indicated they didn't really want children in the restaurant. Were sad we didn't get to try this place. This was a nice little pizzeria/pub right in the middle of Erlanger. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it appears from the outside, has a full bar, and a nice outside eating area in the back. With this being my first time here I started off with my go to's which are wings and pizza. I got the hot Buffalo style wings which while not on the level of like Buffalo Wild Wings or Wings And Rings or places like that they were pretty darn good. Lots of sauce, a minor kick, but great flavour. As for our main course we split a Pepperoni Pleaser Pizza. As the name suggests they loaded it up with pepperoni and great tasting pepperoni at that. I'm telling that pepperoni has as much flavour as I've ever had. The sauce was a really good one and they didn't skimp on the cheese either. Add in a good crust and you got a very quality pizza. Excellent food and service and reasonably priced. They have a front area for families and a back area where adults can relax.

This used to be my favorite place because of their great food and hospitality! However, the last 3 times we have ordered food to go the orders are not as we asked! When calling to speak to a manager and that said manager won't even acknowlede. that they messed up and try to blame the customers! I didn't want free food or a credit I wanted to prevent this happening over and over again! As in Baseball 3 strikes and you are out! It's a shame but time to find someplace that values it's customers! read more

Although this gem is tucked off the highway and behind a gas station, it does not seem to keep the crowd away. Lunch time on week days always has space available. Weekend nights this place has a great crowd and the outdoor space on during the warmer months is a great place to hang out with friend and have some drinks and pizza. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed! read more

This place is horrible, their sauce is straight out of a can. Have tried them twice and both times our to go order was wrong and had to go back. You think I would at least get a simple "sorry for the problems" but no. I won't be back. I would leave no stars if I could. read more

HORRIBLE service tonight! We arrived at 7 and were told whatever we ordered would be at least an hour wait " so if you're hungry go somewhere else'" We understand every restaurant anymore has a wait so we grabbed a table out front because there weren't any tables in the bar area. We asked if we could move to the back when the crowd thinned out so we could listen to the band. They said sure no problem. Once a table was available, we moved to the bar area with our drinks and our number for our order. We all sat down and a server came over and said "hey you can't sit back here because you already ordered food from up front" My husband left the table and went back up to the front to talk to the employees (3 of them) who said we could move seats to the back. The server followed my husband ranting about how we are stealing his money by sitting at a table in the bar area and not ordering food from him!! We waited a few minutes and the server came back to our table very angry and said you need to move!! We asked to speak to the manager. This was a waste of time. He showed no concern whatsoever for his employees attitude and the way he spoke to us. Last visit for us and our friends! Never had service like that there..even if you're having a bad day.. you don't treat your customers like that! read more

Local family pizza place with a decent sports bar connected. The pizza is good, New York style, made with provolone. The sauce is tangy and sweet. A lot of other menu options besides pizza including lasagna and a number of appetizers ranging from bar food to less fried options. Great place to watch ball games. Drink prices a very reasonable. During the warmer seasons, they open up the patio out back for live music and corn hole. Great all around local spot. Recommend for taking the ball team out after a win, catching a game with some buddies or partying on the back patio. read more

There should be a way to give negative stars. My family and I flew into CVG to visit family in Cincinnati, and my uncle lives close to this establishment and goes here frequently so he took us here on 12/16. We had my infant son with us in a stroller, and despite there being a big yellow sign that said "no infants or toddlers in the bar area", we thought it meant around the bar so we went in anyways. We were deterred to the front dining area because of said rule.. whatever, no big deal. We sat down and grumbled about how the rule was dumb, which it is honestly. There was an employee with long brown hair sitting at the table behind us rolling silverware, which I found her name out to be Taylor. She heard us say that the rule was stupid and got extremely defensive about it, going on and on about how rules are in place for a reason, etc. She said her piece and the conversation was done. Taylor then found it necessary to come back to our table, approached my uncle, turned her back to the rest of us and began explaining again to him about how she's sorry the rule is a rule and why it's a rule, blah blah blah. Since she unnecessarily turned her back to the rest of us like we weren't sitting there, my mom (sitting across from my uncle) said that she could hear what she was saying and that she didn't need to turn her back to us. Taylor got SUPER upset and started antagonizing the situation even more, rolling her eyes and shaking her head everywhere, leaving and returning to the table to get more words out of her mouth. Once she yet again left our table I heard her CALL MY MOM A DUMB BITCH (or something with that curse word) under her breath. I called her out on it, asking what she said. Not once did she say she was sorry, not once did she even act like she did anything wrong. She really seems mentally unstable. We are exceptionally appalled about this girls attitude and the way she handled the situation, which wasn't her business to begin with. We may not be local but we will NEVER step foot in this place again. What a horrible person. She should be fired immediately. I found an email on their website and explained what happened but nobody feels the need to get back with me so here's your one star review. read more
