Great take on the'Ol English Pub with many excellent authentic dishes to choose from. They are famous for their Fish and Chips so I had this and it was delicious. Had a great selection of appetizers that were also fantastic. The Scottish Eggs were awesome. Our service was great and we had a large party of 18 people. The Pub is our standby when the craving hits for fish and chips, as it did for my husband's recent birthday lunch celebration. In addition to British beers he loves, we ordered the large portion of fish and chips and they were great. We received a very generous portion of fish, just the right amount of chips, good slaw and tartar sauce and of course a lemon wedge to squeeze over the top. Our service was excellent. The only issue on this exceedingly hot day was the lack of air conditioning. Turns out it's out of service . The Pub was trying to mitigate things with some standing AC units but they couldn't keep up and my husband's bald head did get very shiny over lunch. read more

I have been to this pub twice and will go back again! Pretty cool pub and helpful bartenders that will explain what you are getting if you are trying something new. It definitely has an English or Scottish pub feel to it with the furniture and all the woodwork inside. There is plenty of parking as it is part of a larger strip mall. The bar is front and center as you enter. The hubby and I went and just had cocktails the first time and the bartender was able to answer questions about the beers he wanted to try out. I ordered the Kentucky Peach cocktail, it was Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon, Peach Purée, and sour mix. I liked the cocktail and it also had a candied peach ring in it :). This was just a quick stop for a cocktail and we had dinner plans elsewhere. The second stop I made was with a friend and I ordered a The Port Royal cocktail, A Mai Tai with a regal twist: Appleton Estate Reserve Rum, Barbancourt 4yr Rhum, Pierre Ferrand Orange Curacao, lime juice, simple syrup, orgeat syrup and I would order it again. My friend ordered a Bloody Mary cocktail and she said it was good as well. For my meal I ordered the chicken curry soup and found it very thin but it had good flavor. I also ordered the Cranberry Pecan salad and it was delicious. I love a good salad and this was definitely a good one, I would order it again. My friend ordered the wedge salad but it did not come as a wedge, it was a deconstructed wedge I guess. She expected a wedge salad but said it was fine. We decided to round out the meal with a literal round, I order The Bog which was a flight of scotch whisky. The flight had a 10yr and 2 different 12 year and I thoroughly enjoyed the differences in the three. Next time I go I will try a different flight for fun. My friend ordered a round of ryes. The Pub At Crestview Hills is one of those places that we've talked about going to for years and just now got around to it. I actually have gone there twice now and am combining those 2 visits into 1 review. This place looks really fancy on the outside then you walk inside and it looks awesome as well. Everything is made to look like a British Pub complete with the employees wearing kilts which I think is really cool. The menu is full of classics from the UK. Their menu claims "The Best Fish And Chips In The US" so I definitely had to try that. It definitely lived up to the hype as that fish was crispy and just absolutely perfect. The tartar sauce was a great dip for it as well. The chips/fries were stellar as well. We also tried some Belhaven Beer Cheese which was really good too. It was served with warm pretzels and veggies to dip. On my other visit I tried their Buttermilk Fried Chicken which was served with smoked gouda mac and cheese and an accent salad. This was a good plate of food although not on the elite level of the fish and chips in my opinion. Also tried the Cheese "Bollocks" which were cheese cubes made of provolone and mozzarella and had marinara sauce for dipping. Very delicious appetizer as well. The service was outstanding both times and I can't understate how awesome the ambiance of this place is. I can't wait to come back and try some more authentic British dishes. Management. This establishment doesn't allow seniors to order from the kids menu as most other restaurants do. When I put a review of what happened apparently the manager lied to their corporate office about it and the response from them were lies. Are we at a place now where customers treatment doesn't matter? I'm not done until Me. Sanders, is aware how this manager treated his customers of 5, then had to lie to cover her behind. However, apologies to our waitress who I believe didn't have a clue what I and the manager spoke about prior to her coming to our table. It was amazing, I was traveling for work and decided I wanted to try something different, called my daughter and told her to look at my location and find me somewhere "different" to eat. Wow, Wow, Wow this pub has the closest thing to authentic British food! My husband and I stopped here for dinner. Looks like we got the last table available and were just in time for the evening entertainment. There was a man setting up a guitar at the entrance. Both men and women wear kilts and of course the popular drink here is Guinness! Among the menu items are Scottish egg, bangers and mash and the traditional fish and chips made with haddock. I decided to go for the "wee" smaller size fish and chips while my husband had a half Reuben with a side salad. We got our food fairly quickly. All the condiments were in a lazy Susan above our table. I must say this fish was hot and very good!! Even the French fries were delicious. It was just enough for one meal. My husband enjoyed his Reuben and salad as well. This restaurant sits in the middle of a shopping mall of all places but believe me it did not disappoint. We eat here often--probably monthly on average. Staff is *always* friendly and attentive. Food is wonderful--the fish and chips plate is generous and delicious. The fish is delicately fried, not oily, and flaky. The wedge salad is also wonderful (although I'd love it if they brought back the pre-pandemic shrimp option). Stopped by at about 9pm on a Tuesday night, they were not that busy, but obviously still open. It is located in a mixed use development and has convenient adjacent parking. I sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the bartender. When I asked he explained that they currently had three stouts or porters on tap. He also mentioned that I had plenty of time to order a meal as the kitchen was open till 10pm. I ordered a Breckinridge Vanilla Porter and a Pot roast entree. The porter was excellent and the pot roast was very tasty as well. The atmosphere was that of an English pub with lots of woodwork and art glass. It was a very clean restaurant. The staff was very pleasant, I would highly recommend this establishment and would gladly return. read more

Today is St. Patrick's Day so we expected it to be busy and it was. We arrived a bit before noon and were seated slightly less then an hour later. I was a bit frustrated as we were seated outside and while there were heaters they had doors opened at each side. We were freezing but figured this is the new way of things and the rules restaurants have to face so we'd live with it. My husband ran to the restroom and a woman started coughing (a lot)and they were about four feet away from us. I have successfully avoided covid by being very careful -- including a 2 week trip to visit my adult child in California where we double masked most of the time. I decided we'd take the food to go and then I was annoyed at that as we were relishing time away from our 8 year old :) Anyway, I spoke with Clinton, a manager, and he took my concerns seriously. I really appreciated it as I LOVE their fish and chips but microwaving them at home would have been a bummer. Anyway, he found us a better seating arrangement and from there on out everything was great. My husband got the Irish Skillet and it was awesome! Both our meals were hot and this one was super flavorful! I got their fish and chips and they were amazing. I don't like tarter sauce and use malt vinegar but the fish was so good I used very little. Fun atmosphere, nice area to walk around if there's a wait. Lots of fun costumes/leprechauns dressed up. read more

The food is goods, as someone who grew up in England, the food doesn't match what English/ Scottish food is. I will say that the beer selection is on point! 5/5 on the beer! As was the special Truuly's Strawberry Lemon Crush! My husband tried The American Sliders and said the tartar sauce was out of this world. The service was fast and friendly. This was such a great date night spot with outdoor dinning! Good food, decent prices, great beer selection, and fun Irish/British theme decor. My wife ordered a small beer batter fish and chips. I had the prime rib melt with onions peppers on pretzel bun, with Ajou sauce, and a side of Gouda mac & cheese. I sampled the fish and though it is not like what I had in Ireland it was certainly good enough for me to want to order my own next time. The prime rib sandwich was delicious and I recommend that as well. I was not impressed with the Gouda Mac and cheese as it was watery and pretty flavorless, not worth the up charge in my opinion. Customer service good and could tell or server was pretty busy but we were never neglected. This is a must go to spot to enjoy a fun atmosphere and great English dishes. read more

My husband got the fish and chips that were as big as the plate. Not very busy when we went in but definitely got awesome service from our super nice server! I visited a little while ago with my friend and we had the hugest piece of fish ever. It was so decadent I love a good piece of fish.

Overall a good experience. They were out of a few menu options, but that is understandable given the circumstances. (COVID-19) Ordering over the phone was easy. They made sure to read our order back to us to help ensure everything was correct. It was. A good portion of the menu sounded delectable. We decided to get a bunch of items so everyone could try a little of each item ordered. Some of their dishes travel better than others. Our favorite was the wings. They were our wildcard order. Chocolate stout wings intrigued us. Even to go, the wings maintained a mostly crisp skin. Wings are on the larger size. I was a little worried the wings would taste like chocolate sauce and beer. Thankfully that is not the case. Sauce is sweet. I did not really get a chocolate flavor. The flavors would make sense as their Maker's Mark BBQ. It was almost like a non Asian teriyaki sauce. We are wondering if we received the wrong sauce. Even if we did, we liked them. The fish from the fish and chip must be amazing in restaurant. To go, the top remained light and crisp. Almost melt in the mouth. The bottom did get soggy. Fish itself was moist and flaky. The dish came with both chips and cole slaw. The cole slaw had a thin and light dressing. I rather liked the way the dressing allowed the cabbage to remain fresh and crunchy. The chips are thicker than standard fries, yet not as broad as steak fries. (Classic British chips.) Fries are soft in the middle. Travel effected about half the fries. The naughty chips are another item that would probably be amazing in house. We knew these probably would not travel well. We decided to give them a try anyway. Flavors all worked well. A mix of creamy and savory. Mushrooms added an earthiness. Green onions brightened everything. The only downside was the soggy fries. Not taking any stars away because we knew that would probably happen. Lastly, we ordered The Belhaven. Burger was cooked as ordered. The pretzel bun is thinner than many others. I liked the way the bun did not overpower the meat, yet still tasted like a soft pretzel. Plenty of beer cheese, and fried onions. This burger has lots of big flavors. Burgers are also served with chips and a fried pickle. We look forward to try The Pub again, particularly in person. read more

We were served by Ashley, she seemed very attentive, polite and personable. It's Saturday, but the wait was not very long at all. We were seated right away, and our waitress Ashley came to get our drink orders right away. I ordered yellow Submarine infused with CBD, it's pretty good and my husband ordered the Imported Kaliber, a non- alcoholic beer. It tastes like real beer. We did not wait long for our food to be delivered- the fish was cooked to perfection, the burger was a mess but delicious, and the pesto flat bread was really good. I just wish it comes in a bigger size. Also, the bathroom was clean and smells good.
