    Best London-Style Fish & Chips
    Lilianna G.

This is from a tiny bit ago, and from what I sent my friends. holy cow it's amazing. See Fish and chips. We had the Belhaven Beer Cheese, it was very tasty and delicious. We both got the Best Fish & Chips in the US regular size. The chips were tasty especially with the cheese from the appetizer. The fish was the tasty I've ever had. The coleslaw was shocking good. The servicer were super nice and kind, and was on top of everything. Also the vibe and atmosphere was amazing, it would be really neat to just sit there and relax with some friends for a few hours.

This place has the best fish and chips that I have had in the area. The service was great and my server kept my drink full, which is a big deal for me. Also enjoyed the fried pickles. I definitely recommend the Pub at Crestview Hills.

I have been to this pub twice and will go back again! Pretty cool pub and helpful bartenders that will explain what you are getting if you are trying something new. It definitely has an English or Scottish pub feel to it with the furniture and all the woodwork inside. There is plenty of parking as it is part of a larger strip mall. The bar is front and center as you enter. The hubby and I went and just had cocktails the first time and the bartender was able to answer questions about the beers he wanted to try out. I ordered the Kentucky Peach cocktail, it was Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon, Peach Purée, and sour mix. I liked the cocktail and it also had a candied peach ring in it :). This was just a quick stop for a cocktail and we had dinner plans elsewhere. The second stop I made was with a friend and I ordered a The Port Royal cocktail, A Mai Tai with a regal twist: Appleton Estate Reserve Rum, Barbancourt 4yr Rhum, Pierre Ferrand Orange Curacao, lime juice, simple syrup, orgeat syrup and I would order it again. My friend ordered a Bloody Mary cocktail and she said it was good as well. For my meal I ordered the chicken curry soup and found it very thin but it had good flavor. I also ordered the Cranberry Pecan salad and it was delicious. I love a good salad and this was definitely a good one, I would order it again. My friend ordered the wedge salad but it did not come as a wedge, it was a deconstructed wedge I guess. She expected a wedge salad but said it was fine. We decided to round out the meal with a literal round, I order The Bog which was a flight of scotch whisky. The flight had a 10yr and 2 different 12 year and I thoroughly enjoyed the differences in the three. Next time I go I will try a different flight for fun. My friend ordered a round of ryes. We will be back here to try more items on the menu.

The Pub At Crestview Hills is one of those places that we've talked about going to for years and just now got around to it. I actually have gone there twice now and am combining those 2 visits into 1 review. This place looks really fancy on the outside then you walk inside and it looks awesome as well. Everything is made to look like a British Pub complete with the employees wearing kilts which I think is really cool. The menu is full of classics from the UK. Their menu claims "The Best Fish And Chips In The US" so I definitely had to try that. It definitely lived up to the hype as that fish was crispy and just absolutely perfect. The tartar sauce was a great dip for it as well. The chips/fries were stellar as well. We also tried some Belhaven Beer Cheese which was really good too. It was served with warm pretzels and veggies to dip. On my other visit I tried their Buttermilk Fried Chicken which was served with smoked gouda mac and cheese and an accent salad. This was a good plate of food although not on the elite level of the fish and chips in my opinion. Also tried the Cheese "Bollocks" which were cheese cubes made of provolone and mozzarella and had marinara sauce for dipping. Very delicious appetizer as well. The service was outstanding both times and I can't understate how awesome the ambiance of this place is. I can't wait to come back and try some more authentic British dishes. Extremely high recommendation.

It was amazing, I was traveling for work and decided I wanted to try something different, called my daughter and told her to look at my location and find me somewhere "different" to eat. This was her suggestion, she and the restaurant did not disappoint! Love the "King's chair" and the traditional English pub atmosphere. Tracy was absolutely incredible!

Very cool British vibe at this location, inside and out. Server was super friendly and we ordered beer of course, from an extensive list. I had their specialty, "Fish and Chips," which was amazing. Everyone else loved their food. I'd be here a lot if I lived in town.

Boy was that overcooked. Had the fried chicken sandwich and both the breading and bacon were black. Worst chicken sandwich I have ever had I believe.

The place was sad. No where near is nice as the one in Nashville. Service wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either, I never like having to tell a waitress to bring out the soup that was clearly forgotten.

Wow, Wow, Wow this pub has the closest thing to authentic British food! My husband and I stopped here for dinner. Looks like we got the last table available and were just in time for the evening entertainment. There was a man setting up a guitar at the entrance. Both men and women wear kilts and of course the popular drink here is Guinness! Among the menu items are Scottish egg, bangers and mash and the traditional fish and chips made with haddock. I decided to go for the "wee" smaller size fish and chips while my husband had a half Reuben with a side salad. We got our food fairly quickly. All the condiments were in a lazy Susan above our table. I must say this fish was hot and very good!! Even the French fries were delicious. It was just enough for one meal. My husband enjoyed his Reuben and salad as well. This restaurant sits in the middle of a shopping mall of all places but believe me it did not disappoint. I was very pleased with the food and exceptional service and will return should I find myself in the area again.

The first thing I look for is a nice patio. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating today, but I will be back for this fabulous patio. I was there before the dinner rush, which explains the emptiness of the restaurant. More people started arriving after 5:00. There were so many yummy sounding choices on the menu that it was hard to decide. I asked my server, Erin, what she recommends and she said the CAJUN BOURBON FILET TIPS were her favorite. I went with that and was not disappointed. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It is served over mashed potatoes and topped with onion straws. While the beef portion was small, it was a satisfying meal and the flavors were perfection! I added a side Caesar salad. Their house-made croutons were so good and the dressing was tasty and perfectly portioned. I don't often order dessert, but decided to splurge tonight and got a slice of the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake to-go. OMG, this is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It was light and dense at the same time, if that makes sense. So creamy and melt in your mouth delicious. I will dream about it tonight LOL.

We could have just shared this platter for our lunch if we had known the amount of food that came with the dish. The portion sizes were large. It had two heaping mounds of hummus, ample warm pita bread triangles, thick cucumber slices, hardy carrot sticks and spicy pepperocinis all over a "bed" of kalamata olives. The presentation was beautiful and the taste was delectable. My sister had the "Rod & Reel" lunch special, which is a choice of soup/salad and 1/2 a sandwich with a side. Her salad was a meal all by itself. She ended up taking home part of the salad and all of the sandwich. I tried the Willow sandwich. It's a delectable mix of avocado , lettuce, tomato , smoked turkey and mayo on ciabatta bread with a side of blue tortilla chips. I too, took my sandwich home because I was full from sharing the hummus appetizer. Everything about this restaurant was appealing to me. The staff and service were friendly and accommodating. Because the restaurant originated in Montana, all of the pictures and decor reminded one of hard-working people on an expansive ranch with animals and surrounded by family and down-to-earth friends. I really enjoyed the lunch experience.

Meatball Hoagie Soft Pretzel With Beer Cheese What Is It: The hoagie comes with meatballs, cheese, and lots of pizza sauce on Italian bread. They also include either plain or bbq potato chips (I got bbq). The pretzel comes with salt and a cup of beer cheese. Presentation: They served my hoagie open faced which improves the look of the dish but probably not your shirt. The pretzel looks like a pretzel. 6.5 out of 10 Taste: I'll start with the appetizer which was the soft pretzel. The pretzel was nice and soft and had lots of salt. The beer cheese had a very strong flavour which beer cheese should have. Perfect for this application. The hoagie as I mentioned was as messy as could be. They probably could have gone a little easier on the sauce but the sauce did have yood flavour. They certainly didn't skimp on the meatballs here either as they just bulge out of the sandwich. I do think the open faced serving of this sandwich helps it too. Just be ready to use the fork they give you with it. Definitely a tasty option.
