Big thank you to Rock Chip AutoGlass for making a stressful situation so easy…read more I've never had to deal with a windshield crack before and I was so overwhelmed. After starting a claim with my insurance, it was a breeze scheduling with Rock Chip and I was able to get in right away. The windshield replacement and recalibration was done in under 3 hours. A plastic part cracked and needed to be replaced, and Hien had the part ordered before I got to the shop to pick my car up. Luckily, I was in a training across the street at FJC. Hien found my car in the parking lot and replaced the part easy peasy. Communication was great. Can't speak too much to the cost as I went through insurance. Would recommend to anyone needing their windshield replaced!

I had a great experience with Rock Chip Autoglass and highly recommend them. From start to finish,…read morethe service was smooth, professional, and efficient. They responded quickly, scheduled me without hassle, and showed up right on time. The quality of the work was excellent--you can tell they take pride in what they do. The repair was done quickly but with real attention to detail, and everything looks as good as new. Pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprises. What stood out most was the customer service. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. If you need any windshield repair or replacement, this is definitely the place to go. P.s. they even put my brand new windshield wipers on for me at no extra cost. They didn't have to but went out of the way and did it so kudos to them and they scored a customer for life!

Worst customer service. Just because you have a Tesla you have to take it to them so I did but they…read morehad the wrong glass and I tried to call them three days prior many times and it's impossible to talk to a human so when I got there they had the wrong glass just like I thought I tried to make me another appointment at a location that could come to my work and they just no-show no email no phone call but the appointment is still showing. I just don't understand how they're still in business or why anyone would ever choose to go to Safelite.. and this is the third time that I've had to use them because Geico seems to think that in California $40 an hour is good enough for a glass replacement. But that's a whole Nother story I could tell you about the time they wrecked all the stripes on my hellcat and had to replace the window three times and then still scratched my paint that they never fixed. Oh, I guess I just told you about it. Why would you ask me to contact you when that is impossible. Online chat? Why wast my time? No phone number ever gets you a human. Hopefully people see this and stop using you. Also for anyone reading this that has Geico, they told me if I click the other button to choose a my own place, more recommendations appear. Yeah, Geico is definitely part of the problem.

I submitted a claim for a cracked windshield and was booked for an appointment the next day. They…read moregave me a 5 hour window (8 am to 1 pm) for when the technician would arrive. On the day of the appointment, it was raining, so the technician called around 8:15 am to suggest me driving to the shop instead. The drive was short since I live nearby. It was easy to locate. There was plenty of parking. I went inside and got checked in. I sat in the lobby and there was only 1 other person waiting inside. I waited for about 45 minutes, then my windshield was fixed. The windshield looked great and was super clear. They also replaced my windshield wipers. I took the tape off the next day and haven't had any issues with it. Cons: One of the staff members inside was talking super loud the entire time I was there. Also, I paid $400 for the windshield repair, which is pretty steep. I wish I had called around first because other auto shops charged significantly less ($250-$300).

Came here in 2016 to have my cracked windshield replaced through insurance. Great service then!…read moreUsed them this week because my rear drivers side window wouldn't stay upright. Anytime I drove it would just roll down. I was holding my breath and expecting to have it turn into a complicated and expensive repair or to find out that they need to special order a part and be without a car for two days. I dropped my car off Thursday morning, walked to work since my office is downtown, and had my car back by 2pm. Even found out if I paid cash the total would be less than originally quoted, so beelined to an ATM before picking up the car. Definitely will use them again the next time I need repairs done on my windows! Highly recommend!

I brought my 2025 car to Hayes for a windshield replacement. A mistake that will end up costing me…read morethousands of dollars. I offer this review as a warning to others, and with no delight at all. Of course my insurance company wanted me to go somewhere else. I should have listened, it couldn't have been worse. I wanted to use someone in the neighborhood, a local business. They had after all assured me they could do the calibration on my cars eyesight system, "done them many times", was what they said. My gut told me after waiting about a week for them to call and tell me the windshield was in that they may not be the right shop. I didn't listen to it, kept calling and finally several days after they told me they would call they actually did. We scheduled a morning drop of so they could get it done by noon. Noon came and went, as did the next day, then the next. Not much communication unless I initiated it, even then text seemed to be the method that worked best. They were having trouble calibrating my eyesight tech, the stuff they assured me they could do. They needed a software update on their system, that was the first delay.. that took a day. Then they still couldn't get it right. Finally, after a couple days they had another group come to try it. No go. They decided maybe the bracket was wrong on the windshield and so they got Subaru to give them another one.. more time.. still, even at that point they couldn't calibrate it correctly. Finally, four days after drop off I get a text telling me they have taken my car to a dealer in Roseville. Not the dealer here that I bought the car from and use regularly. They said the dealer would calibrate it. The problem is, they had done it working so many times the camera was frozen. No longer able to be calibrated it had to be replaced. The dealer they took it to made excuses. Hayes told me it must have been broken. The car was returned to my house at this point, I took it to my dealer who diagnosed what happened. Hayes washed their hands of the whole thing and I spent $2k plus on a new camera. As for the camera being broken, the car has star-link. Every time it needs anything it messages my dealer who texts me. It also alerts me in the car that there is an issue with something. The only time the eyesight system has ever been an issue was during this debacle. It was working fine when they got the car. More BS from Hayes. Although I still encourage support for local business, this is one I would absolutely recommend a hard pass on. Had they been even slightly concerned about what happened I would say just pass if your car has tech in the windshield. The way they walked away from this issue however makes me think that really, anyplace would be a better choice.
