I ordered a windshield from Summit Racing, their computer system matched the wrong windshield with my make and model, I didn't know because Summit rarely makes mistakes, these guys at Low Price Auto Glass, let me know it was the wrong size...of course after they had already taken off my damaged windshield and tossed it into the dumpster....So, now they had to dumpster dive and re-install my broken windshield back on (which is now more broken than ever). Now the front office guy, says he found the appropriate window for my car on E-Bay, he set me the link, I ordered it, it came in and it was the wrong size, they had me order the wrong one, which was for the same year car but for a convertible. Now I can't exchange it (bulk glass shipment). And because of their lack of knowledge of American cars, I have to eat the cost of $470!!!! And to top it off they still charged me $100 for LABOR. A 100 bucks for taking off my old broken windshield and then putting it back on, after breaking it further of course. In conclusion, taking my cars broken windshield here cost me $570 and nothings fixed, I still have the original broken windshield on my car. Been here twice now, different cars. They always have the cheapest price, they do amazing work, and I never have to worry about anything after installation. My first service was for a driver side window. The work on Hwy 50 saw a rock shatter it. Took very little time to replace, and it was installed perfectly. No rattling shaking, freezing when using the window etc. Second was most recent with a windshield. Brand new car, sound proofed windshield with all sorts of driver assistant features. Got the quote, they calibrated as well as normal installation. They did an amazing job. No creaks, no noise from the A pillars or anything. Anytime I've had work done, especially at safelight. One thing I would say is that I will definitely keep this place in mind for any future car window issues (please life don't come after me now and start giving me broke windows ) But definitely would approve and support this business. Service was amazing, called to ask if they could take in my car (that got broken into ) and they said that they would gladly take it and offered me a great price. Service was done same day! When I got there they were very attentive and immediately knew who I was. Comes to show they want to learn and know their client. They took in my car immediately and serviced it within 1.5hrs! My friend had to get her windshield replaced asap because the crack worsened overnight, ordered for an afternoon replacement but it arrived damaged so we were told to come back on Monday and that a discount would be applied for the inconvenience and wait over the weekend. The job was done well but unfortunately (I should've told her to call back and ask how much the actual total would be when she told me about the discount), it was only $10 off. For a student who volunteers and works almost full time, this cost her more than just taking it elsewhere over the weekend to get it over with.
