She is a true healer, and is very gifted in treating lingering injuries. I've been grappling with arthritis in my hands, and have an old shoulder injury that keeps dragging me down. Itzel does great pressure point work and also active stretches that have been very beneficial to my healing. She is professional, courteous, and superhumanly strong! I'm very grateful to have exceptional care at the Knotstop with Itzel and Ryan! Pro tip, treat yourself to the membership. I get the 90 minute massage deal for $135 for deep tissue, you can't beat it! Also, for a more chill experience, check out when you check in! That way you don't have to go to the front desk twice. I square up at the front desk when I check in, that way, I don't have to go back after my massage and deal with any details. I always tip my Massage Therapist in cash after the appointment.

The first time I came here over a year ago, the front desk guy wasn't friendly and it didn't start my massage in a relaxing headspace. Today, the front desk had two people there and after I was checked in, neither of them thought to tell me there's a lounge that I can sit in while I wait. I'm very obviously nine months pregnant and it's hard to walk down the block at this point. After you check in, you're in this tight spaced gift shop area with no seating and I wasn't sure what to do until I saw a guy in a walker make his way through a room that said lounge across the top. After my massage was done today, I was back in that little gift shop area waiting to check out and pay for my massage. The lady checking out before me took a while so I was just standing there, exhausted with nowhere to sit. I very clearly remember giving the gift card number I was given when I reserved the appointment online, so it was also annoying that when I finally got up to pay, they dint have any of this information. These seems like small things, but they all add up to me having to put in more effort when I'm paying to set time aside to relax.

But they texted me very clear instructions on how to find them so I had no issues there at all. The establishment was impeccably clean. The staff was extraordinarily professional and well trained. Because of a scheduling hiccup, I ended up having two different massage therapist, but both of them were amazing. Truly. I have a regular massage therapist I see at home in New Orleans, so I try not to vary too much. But I end up traveling a lot for work. They did not disappoint. She asked where I needed attention then she went to work on my back, shoulders and legs. I think I actually dozed off. The hour appointment was exactly what I needed. I just wanted to relax and explained that to them, I know Thai massage is heavy and has a lot of stretching which I did not want. I specifically stated that yet I was ignored. The massage was mostly Thai and included stretching. I had noted I had shoulder surgery on my left shoulder and asked for it to be avoided, yet I was told they were going to fix me. I said no I just want to relax and was again ignored. My shoulder was then focused on, I mentioned my surgeries multiple times and asked for it to be left alone but they did not even after I was in obvious pain. This continued multiple times where I almost left. The sheet was kept on for most of the massage, the room had no door or ceiling, just a small curtain that did not close all the way and with no ceiling I could hear people eating or other music. Massage was not relaxing at all, 90mins $130 + $4 card charge fee and the options for tips started at 20% and went up to 70%. They ignored every request and did what they wanted to my detriment. $160 wasted, I would highly recommend against this place.
