    Honey Goat Cheese

Bar with fun trivia and bingo nights. Decently sized, two different rooms of seating. Food is very average, my salad was disappointing. Very light on the honey goat cheese and the prosciutto. Would recommend adding protein if you get this salad, (2.5/5). Sweet potato fries came out cold and when I asked for ranch, I never got it (2/5). Also, the water here tasted awful. It had the weirdest after taste. Service was fine!

Fun place to watch a game + drink if you like beer or drinks in cans. I was underwhelmed with the mule, espresso martini, and margarita. I should have stuck with seltzers. The food was okay. The nachos were good. The honey goat cheese salad was good, but my goat cheese fritter had very little goat cheese in it which was disappointing. The boneless garlic parmesan wings didn't appear to have any garlic parm sauce on them. The boneless bbq wings were better since they were saucy. The cookie skillet was a little burnt which took away from it. The middle, which wasn't burnt, was great. There appeared to only be one server and she was killing it! I was super impressed with her attentiveness even while being incredibly busy.

Gaslight is always a safe option for a quick beer and meal. I have tried a few of their cocktails but I am personally not a fan and would recommend to stick with the beer options. However, their food is pretty good. My go to is the buffalo mac and cheese ( ALWAYS a hit). Gaslight can get pretty busy, so I try to go during weird hours. If you do end up going during the busy hours, it's still a really good time!

Gaslight was exactly what I needed. Their brunch is so affordable a the best thing to have with a hangover. The friend chicken, waffle Benedict was so so good. It wasn't too sugary or greasy at all. Great atmoshphere and service as well!

This was an okay sports bar. The food options were fine, nothing too crazy or anything that stands out. Didn't have any alternative meat options. The drinks were also okay. They were pretty busy for CFB and good amount of screens to watch all the games but servers seemed a little overwhelmed with the amount of tables.

Buffalo chicken salad as a wrap and Sweet Potato Fries

Gaslight is a fun neighborhood bar with lots of seating options and a good spot for groups. It's a fun atmosphere, and the outdoor space is very nice in the summer. There's a lot of people who come here to watch sports. On Wednesday nights they have trivia at 7:30pm (make sure you make a reservation if you plan to come). The trivia is quite challenging questions in a variety of categories but they give away high dollar gift cards so it's pretty fun. I tend to feel like most of the servers are in a bad mood whenever I have come here. The food is ok; I got a buffalo chicken salad as a wrap with sweet potato fries. I like the you can get the salads as wraps but it is pretty standard bar food. The tater tots are pretty good too! They have a good menu variety.

Nice sports bar on the main strip of Clark in Lincoln Park. I sat out on the patio area. It's a nice spot to watch a lot of sports games on one of the many TVs, while sipping on one of their many drinks and munching on one of their many food items. I just got some fries, they came with this really tasty house seasoning. They have your standard beer draft selection, with the usual crafts, and a good amount of house cocktails and old favorites. The staff were all nice. If it's real hot outside, the patio may be a bit hot as well, especially if there's a lot of people there, but if you're too hot you can always go outside as well. Not too expensive, especially for the area. I could see myself popping in again if I'm ever in the area.

Gaslight is a cute bar with generous outdoor seating. They have at least 6 different TVs so that you can always see some sport that is playing. We got seated quickly and service was great. From an extensive menu of bar eats to a great selection of drinks on tap, Gaslight is a great spot to spend a few hours with friends and watching sports. The fried chicken sandwich was crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend it! The smashburger also definitely hit the mark. Gaslight will quickly become a frequently visited spot for my friends.

My friends and I went to Gaslight to watch the World Series and the college football games. The place was packed so service was kind of slow, which is understandable. When ordering drinks I asked for a drink that ive had there before but wasnt on the menu. The waitress looked at me like I was crazy and told me to order the Transfusion. The Transfusion was gross. The Nachos and goat cheese salad were pretty good and would order again. We were all disappointed in the wings and the cookie skillet. Overall I would not go out of my way to go back to Gaslight but if my friends were there I would meet them.

Great food, had the black berry margarita and it was delicious, however, had to wave down another waiter to get another drink because we hadn't seen ours in such a long time.

Smoked Turkey Sandwich and Mac & Cheese

Had a great time here on a Tuesday night for a late dinner and a couple beers. Got in right as the kitchen was closing and the staff was super nice and let me order anyway. Outdoor patio is super sick with TVs everywhere. Covered with heaters as well. Great vibe. Was looking for a place to watch the Zags v Saint Mary's game late night so it was perfect (go zags). Had a great time chatting with Josh the GM as well. We talked hoops and football for like 30 minutes, he's a great guy. Made sure I was taken care of the whole time I was there Alright- the food Smoked Turkey Sandwich - 5/5 I kinda just wanted something simple with a good amount of protein since I was coming from the gym. This thing exceeded all expectations -see pictures. Very flavorful and generous amounts of all ingredients on the sandwich. It's on this like tomato focaccia type bread as well that is to die for. Was told afterwards by Josh that this is his favorite item on the menu so highly recommended! Mac n Cheese - 3/5 Nothing to write home about really here. Since I just moved to chicago I'll try to keep it local with the sports analogies but kind of like a Nikola Vucevic of Mac n cheeses. You're kinda forget you have it but it certainly does the job. Overall dope spot that's super close to my place. Gonna have to come back for trivia and brunch to see what that's all about!

I'm back - what stood out today was our server Annie who was chill, approachable, with perfect timing when you want her around. Standouts tonight was the cheese curds, the pretzel and the margie pizza (margharita) - light, subtle, yet satisfying. Special thanks to the fresh pot of Coffe at the end. My previous review also stands especially with the alcohol. I had amaretto stone sour - no complaints.

The bartenders are always very friendly and check in often which is always appreciated. You're always immediately given little pretzels to snack on which I love as a unique touch. It was the right move because it had the kind of chill vibe we were seeking after a long flight from SFO. Fortunately there were two seats at the bar with our names on them. Figuratively speaking. They had quite a signature cocktail list on hand, and we felt it was our obligation to try as many as we could. At least that was what we said to ourselves as the evening wore on. Each cocktail was $14. We started with a couple of familiar libations. Jamie ordered the Mint Julep, a delightfully Deep South mix of bourbon, simple syrup, and fresh mint (photo: https://yelp.to/u-td8LdPLj). I went further south with the Pineapple Margarita which was emboldened by a tropically potent mix of pineapple infused tequila, lime juice, and agave (photo: https://yelp.to/V-Sf6Q_2qK). We got a bit bolder with our second round and found mixed results. Jamie had the Not Your Mom's Daiquiri which amped up the margarita by blending pineapple-infused tequila with Bacardi 8-year rum. Along with fresh lime and simple syrup, this one definitely had more of a kick (photo: https://yelp.to/1ZijDf6wMV). However, my order, the Pontiac Pony, was a spicy miss for me. It was a rather oddball mix of apple-cinnamon infused vodka, pear liqueur, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and ginger beer (photo: https://yelp.to/5dQoFdzG98). There was just a harshness that didn't sit well on my tongue. Oh well, the mellow vibe was cool. I happened to discover LNF during a Yelp Event when LNF turned into Rudolph's Bar, a jolly holly Xmas Extravaganza! I do not believe there was a single spot in the bar that had not been covered in Xmas decorations. It was total sensory overload to the point I did not put up any directions 2025 because I had seen enough at LNF. HAHAHAHAHA! On the strength of the food and drinks that night, I decided to go back once all of the Xmas hoopla was over. Going back in 2026 was a more subdue, but enjoyable time for me. As I mentioned in my 2025 review, even with all the Xmas decoration, the overall vibe was a step up from the typical bars around the Cubs playground. I would have loved a regular girls night out there instead of the last hurrah of me and The Queen. I had mentioned to her about the cocktails and the pizzas I had during the Yelp event and we decided to stop in before heading to the Alamo Drafthouse for a movie. Me and The Queen go the Spicy Sausage pizza and those fries, since I talked about the food to her. Again it was really good, with the crust still being nice and thin. The Queen did not think it was all that spicy, but she eats Hell Ramen Level 4, so I do not look to her for confirmation of hotness when it comes to food. We had cocktails and The Queen (because she was driving) had a Margarita made with a zero proof Tequila. I have to say it was not that bad and I got one and added Prosecco to it...delish. Me and The Queen had a great time chatting, eating and drinking at LNF, but were both sad that we were going to miss out on the opportunity to turn this into one of our rotation hangouts. But I will always be grateful for them introducing me to their Red Bull Winter Spritz. Since that Yelp Event, I have bought three cases of Red Bull Sugar-Free Fuji Apple and Ginger Winter Edition Energy Drink to make the cocktail. Not sure if it is exactly how they did it, but it works for me. So long LNF, it was good knowing you, even if it was for a short time. Deuces!
