I was very specific from the beginning that I needed the wiring removed from the cups of the dress. I also requested the slit be moved up and the bottom hem shortened. When I arrived to pick up the dress, only the hem had been done properly. I was then told the remaining fixes would "take 10 minutes." Thirty minutes later, they had only adjusted the slit and the wiring was STILL in the dress. At that point, I had already repeated the same request multiple times. When I calmly explained AGAIN that the wire needed to be removed, the woman working began talking over me and arguing with me instead of listening. I am now sitting here waiting even longer for alterations that should have been completed correctly the first time after they had my dress for two full weeks. For the amount of money charged, especially with a rush fee, the communication, attention to detail, and customer service have been incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this business if you need reliable tailoring or time-sensitive work.

My wedding dress had a massive train with satin box pleats, and I had a very specific vision for the bustle - I didn't want it to look like there even was a bustle. Not an easy challenge, but she mastered it! (See photo for before and after) We were supposed to get married in late August, but the Caldor Fire had other plans and Gloria was very accommodating and gracious with our planning and re-planning timelines. To take in and hem my dress, plus hem my husband's pants and let down the sleeves of his suit jacket cost $100 total which I thought was extremely reasonable. I looked into other alterations shops in Reno and Carson City and some started at $250 for wedding dress alterations! Sew N Sew might be the only place on earth to not overcharge for anything wedding related, very honest and fair. I will be back if I ever need alterations in the future!
