I needed to have an old baby grand piano taken from my home and disposed of. Jeff and Jahlil had…read morejust completed a job that ended up being much bigger than originally scheduled. They arrived here in late afternoon and they were able to remove my piano more quiickly than I thought could be done. They were polite and genial. They my home clean. I would call them in the future if I needed their services. The cost was very reasonable for a piano.

Glad that they took care of my needs but left me a bad case of buyer's remorse at the final cost. I was expecting at most to pay the $750 full load charge but was hit with two surcharges based upon ostensibly the weight/size of several items and the need to utilize a small portion of a 2nd truck. These surcharges were communicated and took the total cost close to $1200 and all for a 10x20 storage unit that was only 75% full. Besides the surcharges, I was disappointed by two things. First the need for a 2nd truck. Items were thrown in haphazardly which if organized better it could have all fit in the 1st truck. Secondly, I naively thought that that furniture items that could be easily repurposed would be donated elsewhere. An antique bench, schoolhouse student desk and another desk were thrown into the truck and I am sure ultimately a landfill somewhere. They were convenient and fast, but far too expensive. I will not use them again, nor can I recommend them. No apology or further contact is necessary unless it comes with a partial refund. Otherwise it is just lip service.

I hired High Class Movers (Ty Phillips) - or Ty P, as it shows in his reviews that he wrote for…read morehimself - and had one of the worst moving experiences imaginable. Ty himself never showed up. Instead, he sent two men who, while very kind, didn't know how to use moving straps, mishandled heavy items, and even told me mid-move that Ty would charge extra for materials he had originally promised as included in the price. My partner had to step in and help carry items up the stairs with straps because they couldn't manage the weight together. I had specifically warned Ty that some of my antique furniture needed special care. I also told the movers that one piece in particular was over 100 years old, and if damaged, could not be restored. Despite this, nearly everything they touched was damaged. Three dressers were gouged, two desks were chipped, antiques were harmed beyond repair, and a heavy treadmill was stacked directly on top of antique furniture with no protection. Both homes were also left with scrapes, holes, a chipped door and frame, and even a large section of wall broken out. Worst of all, they dropped our washing machine so hard that the control panel ripped completely off, and it is still sitting non-functional, in our dining room where it was left. Ty had suggested I rent my own truck to save money, which I did, but he still tried to charge me more than $200 extra beyond the agreed price. This, after showing up late, unprepared, and causing significant damage. When I raised these issues, his response was dismissive. Instead of accountability, he later tried to spin it as though he was "helping us by covering our moving expenses." I chose this company because I wanted to give a smaller, lesser-known business a chance. Unfortunately, that goodwill turned into an expensive mistake. My family's furniture - including pieces for my three young children - ruined. As we continue unpacking, the damage is proving to be even worse than we first realized. For anyone considering this company: please think twice. Protect your home and belongings by choosing a licensed, insured, and reputable mover with consistently strong reviews.

I booked a move with High Class Mover back in May for June 15th at 10 AM and paid the requested…read more$200 deposit. A week prior to the scheduled move, I confirmed with them that everything was on track, and I was told, "Yes, Ma'am." However, on the day of the move, they were a no-show. After waiting 30 minutes, I reached out and was informed that the mover was in the hospital but was "trying" to find someone else, with no guarantee. This was extremely stressful since I needed to move as scheduled to meet my landlord's requirements for property turn-over. I emphasized the urgency, but I received no firm backup plan or concrete solution. I had to make several calls myself and ultimately found another moving company. I then informed Tyler that I had secured alternative arrangements and requested a refund of my deposit. As of yesterday, Tyler has refused my Zelle request for the refund, and I now have to file a claim with my bank. I have used this company before, so this experience was truly disappointing. Their poor handling of the situation added unnecessary stress over the weekend, and I cannot recommend their services. If necessary, I will escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau.
