However, things got a bit clunky after that... the day before the move I was called to confirm the foreman would call me to tell me he was 30-minutes out. (Fair enough). The day of the move... the window I was supposed to expect them came and went - no call, no nothing. I was meeting them at a location, so that was a bit strange. I called and that guy was fine saying he'd call the foreman, but then he hung up and I never heard from him again. Eventually the foreman called very apologetic (I appreciated that) and noted he had folks out due to covid, etc. but had one guy on the way and he'd call me again). The move ultimately started 1-hour late. Fine. I wasn't happy, but I didn't hold it against the guy - I was grateful for the help. They did a decent enough job loading the truck of 3 large pieces of furniture.... however, when we got to the final destination it was obvious they had dinged things and scratched quite a bit. (I MEAN A LOT)! The guest mover guy blatantly scratched the side of my desk with his belt and looked at me in hopes that I wouldn't notice. Oh - I noticed. It was BAD. This same guy was clearly smoking in the car ride too...... (and I don't mean cigarettes). Again, FINE - but a 2-hour move cost me a minimum $$ and they scratched the heck out of the furniture. I got a deal on the purchase, so I neglected to make a big deal out of it, not to mention I just sensed they'd get super defensive and I wasn't interested in the battle on a Sunday. Just proceed with awareness. If you have fine items or furniture you don't want dinged, you may want to look elsewhere, if you want a basic, affordable move? these guys are just fine. The foreman gets the credit, he did his best - he was professional and certainly courteous but the whole experience left me less than "over the moon". We've had great movers - but you PAY for them.

I received a phone call from Alex at 7:43am, informing me that they had a couple call outs the night before, and they would have to cancel our move that day. He informed me they could do the move Monday, and asked if that would work for us. I said no, that Sunday would be acceptable. Alex informed me he would forward that information to the office and someone would be in touch. That was the last I heard from anyone at this company. I tried to reach out to him on Saturday evening to ask if they were going to be able to move us Sunday, and got zero response. Moving is a large stressful ordeal as it is, get a real professional moving company instead of dealing with these clowns. Their contract totally covers their ass with regard to the customer canceling, but offers no protection for the customer when and if they totally dissappear on you. Everything we own was packed and ready to go for our Saturday morning move, and we are left to try to find another company, on very short notice, to move us ASAP because of Alex and Roma Movings total incompetence, and lack of professionalism. Read the other bad reviews and sprint away from this company. At least they were never able to destroy our personal belongings like all the other bad reviews have stated.

Unprofessional behavior from movers…read more This was a terrible and traumatic experience! I hired this company's service on October 22, the last week. I moved from Ballantyne, NC, to South Park, NC. They didn't complete the move until the next day. They had to return to the residence because they lost the hardware from one bed. Also, they left items without wrapping. The next day, when they came back, once they had installed it, one of the guys asked for pay, and my card was declined because of my change in the zip code. There were three workers here, and there was no supervisor. Ok. So, when my card was declined, I called my husband, and he tried to give them a credit card number over the phone. They could not take that, and they became hostile. The guy insisted that he wanted the card physically. So, they said my husband needed to come here and give them the card. He was at a job site and could not leave. So, the guy started yelling at me and threatened to take my stuff. He walked room by room, looking at what he could take. They were three guys against two women. I said to the guy to leave my house. He refused to leave because he wanted to take my stuff, so I ran to the door to stop him from taking my belongings. My cousin called my husband, crying and looking at the situation. The guy was trying to intimidate me, so I called the police, and he decided to leave, but I stopped him because he had taken my stuff and was waiting for the police. The guy was out of control. My husband talked to the owner, and he told him to leave. We paid the bill for the move on Saturday morning, which was over $5000. I feel now traumatized by the situation. I feel like I was assaulted in my own house. You know how much stress it is to move from one place to another and care about your belongings. That's because we hired a service that says it is " professional." That was a big mistake; they are not what they say. For this horrible experience, I never recommend this company. And, too be honest I was going with a two, but going to average my previous 5 star review hence the 3 stars. Scheduling went well, boxes were delivered for me to pack, but the day of the delivery is inexcusable. Three gentlemen showed up, one lead man, and when I walked him to my 1 bedroom apartment and showed them what I was moving, including the boxes "I" packed, not them, dining room table, couch, one chair, bed and dresser and a chair. Pretty simple. The lead laughed and said "I love when they give me two guys for a simple job". From there, they took their sweet time, almost 3 hours or more. Crazy! We continued to ask what was taking so long and nothing, in turn I reached out to the Owner, who somewhat listened, but was not in the apartment to know how long things were taking. Needless to say they were not too happy that I called the boss and things went downhill from there. When we arrived at my new home, they damaged walls, floor, broke a mirror and had slashed two of my boxes with a knife, all over. Not acceptable. And, they had the audacity to say the box was like that. Ah, no it wasn't because I packed the boxes. Hopefully I won't be moving anytime soon, but if so, it is time to find another company.

WHATA NIGHTMARE!!! I hired Easy Movers, Inc. for my recent…read morelocal relocation. The service I received was unprofessional and resulted in significant damage to my property due to the negligence and lack of experience demonstrated by the three-person crew. Despite a short five-minute drive between locations, the moving truck took 30 minutes to arrive. Upon inspecting my belongings, I discovered that my items had not been properly padded or secured during transport. Specifically, the dining room table base has substantial holes on two sides. Additionally, a wood sofa table fell apart during the move. It appeared that an unsuccessful and undisclosed attempt was made to repair the table before I saw it, which I find purposefully deceitful. The crew failed to disclose any of this damage until I pointed it out myself. Furthermore, I was disappointed that the crew attempted to take the 65-inch TV box, for which I specifically paid $125.00. He apologized but it was kinda stressful knowing things had broken. They also broke my desk I use for work, I was told to reach out to the company about fixing it. Overall, I do like the company but this was my least favorite experience with them so far.
