I have been lied to regarding getting an emergency referral that my doctor okayed for. My number has been blocked, and calls ignored. If you ask for directions you get met with mean spirited remarks. If you are ready for a battle every time you have to pick up the phone to call, this is your place. Otherwise, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I was instructed to not eat or drink in the ER all night, all morning. Dresnik sent his PA, Michelle, the next morning who was cold and rude to tell me he was not doing the scope, it wasn't an emergency. His PA said he didn't even know who I was. Complete lie!!!! For a doctor who told me that she doesn't like spending patients' money, it's odd that I'd be asked to meet every month only to be repeatedly told that nothing can be done for my condition. And even odder that I would be prescribed a $900 medication without any trial period or notification that it would cost so much. Thank God for the nursing staff, who - when they found out how much I was being asked to pay - offered me the free sample medication that they keep in the office so patients can see if it works first. I would have had no idea what my options were if I had trusted Dr. Cobrin, and I'll be taking my long list of unanswered questions to a different practice.
