Great location. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. My car always comes out clean and without any water spots left. The vacuum systems are great as they are very powerful and the faculty is always clean from debris and trash on the ground. They have garbage can at every spot and 2 handicap parking spaces. I have the $14.99 membership which allows me to come once a day every day at one of the 12 locations. I would highly recommend this place for your car care needs of a great wash. read more

On Friday, March 27th at approximately 4pm, I visited the Gate Carwash at 15765 Max Leggett Pkwy. While waiting to enter the tunnel, I observed the attendant having difficulties placing the truck ahead of me which took between 5-10 minutes. The truck ahead of me started and the attendant motioned me to move forward. I followed his instructions, and my vehicle entered the carwash. Once I got to the section where suds were being sprayed onto my windshield, and I could not see anything, my SUV hit the truck ahead of me. Before I could react, my vehicle hit the truck again. At this time, I applied my brakes and started to blow my horn. The attendant then stopped the wash. Yesterday, I received an email from Tiffany Kellom expressing that "per terms of use, Gate is not responsible for collisions caused by customer error." How was I in error? Where are the supposed terms of use, as I did not see them posted anywhere that a driver can see them. I came to your carwash in good faith, and through no fault of my own, my vehicle was damaged. I am trying to resolve this at the lowest level possible, but Ms. Kellom has indicated that your company isn't going to make this situation right. I contacted my insurance company this morning and they said that I was not at fault. read more

Car wash is good, but they started having their employees go out and tap the screen and take payment. The last 3 times I've been in I ask for their basic $15 wash and I always decline the up charges. The last 3 times I've been through, the sales reps all either added an up charge after I declined it, or tapped a different wash than I selected. They were all 3 different sales reps which makes me think they are all trained to do this. They are probably incentivized to up charge. I'm going to record a video next time to show a manager. Grand Opening today (10/22/19) of a new Gate Express Car Wash. It houses 24 total self cleaning bays (vaccum and floor mat cleaners). 3 bays of the 24 bays are designated for people with disabilities. Being newly opened, it is nice and clean. As a plus, they were offering Free Car Wash special, which I took advantage of. The Car Wash machine pretty much covered everything and was gentle enough on the roof bike racks on top of my SUV. TIP: Just make sure you bring extra towels to wipe off any excess water after the wash that was left undried. The staff I have encountered were very knowledgeable and friendly. I have to lower my review because Gate Express no longer offers the $5 express car wash. I use to have the monthly $15 membership, which was a great deal; but when I swapped cars I stopped my membership. I have since bought a new whip and went by today for a quick $5 express wash, and was informed that as of the first of the year that's no longer an option; $10 is now the minimum wash. Not sure if membership is still $15, but will probably go back to that if it is. read more

This Gate Express Car Wash just opened at the 295/Old St. Augustine exit near "Catholic Corner". If you don't know where that is, its the corner where St. Joseph's Church occupies all corners of the intersection of Old St. Augustine Road / Loretto & Greenland. Anyway, if you've been to the Durbin Pavillon location then you're already familiar with the concept. If you aren't, this Gate Express is currently offering a complimentary "Platinum Wash" through 10/31 to try them out. Think of it like a Costco sample but for your car =) For their grand opening deal, you can even stop by up to TWICE a day which I suspect is to encourage you to sign up for one their monthly memberships ($14.99 or $29.99/month - see pix for what's included with each). For now, there's an attendant at the two kiosks who will walk you through the single car wash selections and then give you a 10-second blimp on the membership packages. The associates were friendly, informative and not pushy on the memberships. Also available is free vacuuming with any purchase and I saw a sign that you can apparently request carpet cleaner too. I didn't try the latter but the vacuums are legit awesome blossom - I was able to **finally** get all the beach sand stuck in the grooves of my car mats. My regular vacuum just wasn't cutting it before this. I also like that there's two vacuum hoses at each parking station so you don't have to awkwardly maneuver the hose around the car. So, there's my 411 on this new Gate Express if your car needs a quick spa day. Enjoy! read more

Overall, we've been extremely happy with this car wash. Lately, however, the car is still extremely wet & today it was full of soap. If left alone, it's spots up because the water is so hard. Seems like it's time for some TLC. read more

I'll keep it simple, the wash is decent but far from spot free. The vacuums are well placed and have good suction. Half of the stations have compressed air which is nice. There are no damp cloths to wipe down the interior so you will need to bring supplies. The hard rubber mat cleaning station is just a commercial dog washing station with a worn out brush. No soap or drying rack so putting wet mats on the ground defeats the purpose they collect dirt. read more

Locked my keys in my truck. The staff here were amazing. They made a place in the AC for me to stay cool. They called a locksmith and made several followup calls. One individual asked if she could buy me dinner. I was there three hours waiting for the locksmith. read more

I give this place a solid 4.4... I have the monthly plan where I can get one car wash a day for around $30. Don't go that often but I think it is worth it. Only downfall is you have to clean inside but they have tons of vacuums on-site. read more

I love washing my car at Gate Car wash! I can get a good clean on my car without a greasy windshield and it's pretty quick too. Sometimes the lines are long but the people working seem to keep the cars moving along. The vacuums are better than average and stronger. I try to get these done a few times a week when I can. I love a clean car and with kids I need to vacuum often. read more

I like places that are conveniently close to home. This place is literally right around the corner. Plus, I prefer hand washing my car because I feel car washes are not that thorough. However, going through this place, I found that it was pretty gentle on my car and actually pretty thorough. The price was better than other places that I've been to so that's a plus. I would not recommend using gate car wash. Gate is not responsible for any damages to your vehicle. They have a third party call Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc that handle all their claims. Make sure you have insurance before going to this car wash they will denie any responsibility for damages. The third d party Gallagher Bassett stated I was at fault for the spin washer grabbing and ripping away the antenna from my truck. If anything happens to your vehicle gate is not going to be responsible for any damages. I would never use their service again. I like that my rims don't get damaged as bad in this car wash vs others like bubbles or big city. It generally gets clean going through but sometimes the tar is still on there. Price per monthly unlimited is great. Customer service is always there to help. read more

Your car will NOT come clean and when you ask them to treasure it they act like there put put pr doing you some kind of favor after you paid $18 to wash your car. The vacuums are pretty good for the most part but of your expecting your car to come clean without 5 times through good luck! read more

I've had the subscription here since February. I would go in and wash my car about three times a week. My Ford F-150 is brand new from January of 2020. Coming here has broken off my keypad on my door. Told the attendant he told me there's no way that the car wash couldn't have done that. That he knows a lot of people with f-150s where things just pop off. This is the best selling vehicle of all time. I would know if they were prone for the keypad to just pop off. I had gone through the wash and was completely satisfied with the way everything looked, except the back of my SUV...it washed most of the dirt off, but wasn't able to get it all resulting in a streaking appearance. Unfortunately due to the shape of my car and the concave angles the brush was not able to get into all of the crevasses and grooves. Im not sure if she was the manager, but she did pull the video and show me that the machine did in fact get the back of my car... then proceeded to tell me why sometimes it doesn't remove everything off of SUVs shaped like mine. Long story short, she did allow my car to be rewashed free of charge, but I still had to wipe the back off. I'm glad that she informed me about the machine and how it works! My car really does look amazing though and my kids loved the different colored lights as we went through! I'll definitely be going back! read more
