Horrible wash! Besides removing the layer of yellow pollen off, doesn't even look like it was washed. My car is covered in water spots. Also, had a very rude employee aggressively demand that I put the interior cleaning spray in the correct spot when I unintentionally put it in the glass cleaner spot. Would've understood if he did look at me like I was crazy and be so dramatic about it. Cancelled my membership! read more

Used to be my favorite car wash that's why I got the membership plan however, the vacuum systems two out of three were very weak. Makes cleaning your car difficult. At least they have better air fresheners. I'll give them that when they're available. read more

During the prior ownership, this car wash was great and had no issues. When it became the whistle, equipment started going down, vacuums were constantly down, and randomly it would be closed. When I canceled my membership in November, I continue to get charged for the next four months. I called and canceled. Went in person three different times to cancel and all three times they assured me it was canceled. I kept receiving charges. Stay away from this car wash. read more

Most of the time there is only one person doing the pre-wash so my car only gets one side pre-washed. The soap and other liquid dispenser bars in the wash are often clogged. The blow-dryers leave lots of water on the car. If you drive through to get a wash and don't use their drying towels, you'll end up with little white spots all over your car. read more

I've been trying for 3 months to get 4 cars consolidated onto one discounted bill. I've called corporate several times, and been to the San Jose Blvd office 4 times, with no resolution. It really shouldn't require so many hours of my time to handle what should be a simple clerical issue. Phone calls aren't returned, and after speaking to corporate again today, I'm having to push for a refund of what I've been overcharged. At this point, I'm canceling. Very frustrating. read more

I tried camel for a few weeks before deciding to purchase their monthly plan. That plan allows you to get one wash per day for the month, cancel labor at any time. I don't use it daily, but I do use it at least both a week, unless I am out of town. First you drive up to the kiosk and choose your wash, one you roll through the wash they have: Vacuum cleaner Mat cleaner (for carpet mats) Mat washer (for rubberized mats) Air hose (to blow out crevasses, IT IS SO MUCH FUN) Glass cleaner Vinyl cleaner Microfiber rags Really pleasant staff, really good value. read more

My husband & I love our taking our cars here. They're so quick & efficient, & we always love the way our cars look after their wash. Usually you don't wanna take your car to drive through car wash since it doesn't have the same clean look as doing it yourself, but I beg to differ with this one. Once you pull up to the wash, you have a couple of people prep the car for it's wash. They hose it down & give the front & back windows a pre-scrub by hand. Once you're on the conveyor belt, you just put your car on neutral & let the wash do it's thing. I love watching all the product rain down on the car, it's so colorful, it feels like you're on a theme park ride lol. We have a sedan & an SUV, both come out sparkling clean! The drive through even has tire shine! Once you're done with the wash, you have the option to park at the MANY spaces with vacuum provided along with towels & other spray items. They keep it pretty sanitary with everything separated as well. Prices aren't bad. $20 for the full shebang that comes with hot lava wax & $10 for lowest basic wash. Vacuum & such is free. They also have a membership price at $30 which I think I'm going to sign up for. So sparkling clean & shiny, I love it! read more

Yes it's the grand opening but what a fantastic first impression. Free $20 wash was impressive. After a drive thru wash, the finishing area has vacuums on both sides of each bay and they are powerful!! Probably close to 30 vacuums, separate mat cleaning machines, as well as little detail hoses to blow out any areas not finished by the drive thru blower. Free towels for both interior and exterior, are you kidding me? Free shampoo for your carpeted mats and a place to hang and wash rubber mats. If you're gonna join the monthly club they are offering $10 for any level membership for the rest of the year so now is the time to join. Even at full price you can get a wash everyday - and no contracts - just a 7 day notice. Any other car washes within a 10 mile radius are in trouble. The full service ones on San Jose just can't find good help. The only way to get it done right is to do it yourself and Camel makes it so easy and convenient. read more

Equipment not working properly. Leaving a lot of soap on car after drying. I am here and several other customers are complaining of same problem. By the time I got one side wiped off the soap on other side dries and is very difficult to remove. I spoke to the operators and was told that I could run car thru again. Other customers said they had and still have soap on cars. Operator then told me some of the equipment in the tunnel has to be fixed but won't be until next week. Never going there again! read more

My car was extra super nasty. I hadn't washed it in several months. One passed through the car wash and the exterior was perfect. They have a complementary vacuum and tidying up area with all kinds of great materials. Even little air fresheners! I'm super happy! They even have a BOGO on their washes! I started out at a different car wash beforehand, but when I was waiting in a long line and my patience wearing thing, I did a U-turn out of there and headed to Camel. Good thing I did, because I was able to get the bugs scrubbed off my car, go through the car wash, and pull into a vacuum area to vacuum my car and use a spray to clean my windows and dash! They also have degreaser and microfiber towels, which is different from other car washes I have been at. The vacuum had a great suction on it, and I'll have to use the mat cleaners when I'm not in such a hurry. A great price of $16 for a decent amount of car wash and services!. read more

This place is super clean; could be because it so new. I hope it stays that way; that's one of the reasons it makes it so appealing. They have all of the stuff you need to detail your car - glass cleaner, degreaser, vacuum, air tool to get into the crevices, and a place to clean the mats. They also provide the rags. They have one section that is fully covered so it blocks the sun and then another side that is exposed so you have your choice. They have monthly fees so that you can go as many times as you want for that monthly rate. The intro rate for the package I chose is $20 cheaper for the rest of the year but will go up in January. I'm not sure I will be able to justify the monthly fee after the new year, but for now, I am loving it! read more

Is it possible to have feelings for a car wash? Asking for a friend.. This carwash has nailed it, anticipates your every need & then some. It's $10 for the least expensive wash and that gives access to towels, various cleaners, scent disc, high power vacuum and (eek!) a high powered mini air gun for the nooks & crannies. It's always clean, well lit, lots of employees buzzing about replenishing the goods & lots of trash cans nearby. The entrance/exit can be a bit a bit of a headache on a busy day but the good far outweighs that one small issue. read more

I like Camel Premium Express. They do a decent "maintenance" wash. You have to clean your own interior and their prices are a bit high for that but the facility is quality. My wife has the monthly service and loves this car wash. I am disappointed they stopped offering the free air freshener. I'd even pay for it, just have it available. It turns out they do have the air freshener, you have to ask. I forgot to mention they have great service. read more

We have come to Camel Car Wash since they opened. They have done a fine job for a drive-through car wash. Nothing better than anyone else, but the location was good. Recently I visited for a quick wash and noticed that they no longer have a basic wash. I do not want their "wheel cleaner" "triple action slime bomb" or "rain repellent" I just want a simple wash. Absolutely the best car wash I have ever used. The car wash is incredible. My car was thoroughly wash with amazing products. I don't think any dirt could possibly be left with the great brushes and products. The drying process actually dries the car. I can't say enough about the vacuums. Unlike so many self service car washes, the vacuums at Camel work. Powerful with small nozzles making it easy to clean between seat and in small areas. There is no smelly vacuum odor that I have found at other self service car washes. Free supplies are included in the wash, clean towels, window/dash cleaner, carpet shampoo, degreaser are just a few of the products I noticed and used. There is also a rubber mat wash. I did take advantage of the $10 monthly membership for the remaining rest of the year. No contracts and I can cancel anytime. But why would I want to cancel?!
