When my son's tire shredded on his way to work, I was in a tough spot as he couldn't leave during his shift, so I had to coordinate everything around his scheduled breaks. Gates Towing was incredibly accommodating. They worked with me to create a flexible plan: I picked up his keys during his break, left them in the car, and called them once everything was set. I was able to pay via credit card from a link they sent to my phone. Driver Justin went above and beyond by calling and texting me when he picked up the car, and again when it was safely dropped off at our chosen location. Porsche has contracted Gates Towing Inc for their flat bed towing. Unfortunately i've had to use their services twice. One for a blown tire in the middle of the night and the second time to tow my car from home. They operators were professional and communicated well. They took their time loading my Porsche onto the flatbed. Hoping they do that with all cars, but Pedro the operator made me feel good about leaving the car in their hands. I wouldn't hesitate to use their towing services again, but hoping I won't have to again anytime soon (should have bought a Camry). read more

I had a total brake job done on my car including the emergency brake and it was costly, $$$. And in order to keep your emergency brake working you have to use it or else it will most likely freeze up and cost you when annual inspection is due. Well even though mine was not even a week old, it froze. It put me in a predicament! I immediately contacted Mark the service manager at Cortese and he said he would send a wrecker to pick up my car. I asked him what company would be picking up my car he said "Gates Towing". Not quite an hour went by and the wrecker operator was calling me telling me his location. His name was Brandon, he arrived minutes later. He was a good operator, he had my car on board in minutes. I know the towing business going back decades when I had a small towing and junk business. Never showed up! Lied! Said my vehicle could not be located! How sway? This car sitting all alone in this great big driveway could not be located. Sad and dishonest. Got a flat tire, used my Geico app for roadside assistance, having not used it before I accidentally chose a collision shop for my car to be towed to for repair as I didn't have a spare tire. Timothy in the service department was very helpful and very nice (which I find a rarity when speaking w an auto shop) he said, my tow truck is 20m away (I was quoted an hour), and he offered to have it brought to them which was closer for me and they could have it done by noon! This was amazing! I needed to work and I had my child with me. They offered to let me ride in the truck but I found an alternative. The gentleman that drove the truck was very nice, quick and courteous to myself and my child who was full of questions. I spoke with Timothy a few more times about billing and pick up as I wasn't able to make it before closing. They have been one of the best experiences I've had in a crappy situation. I can't speak for the location, just for who towed me. I called AAA with a flat tire. I forget the name of the man who towed me-- I was a bit distressed. But he was absolutely wonderful. He got my car right up on the tow and we chatted the whole way to the garage. Apparently, AAA had put me down as a stall out but he was okay with still towing me. He was actually such a gentleman and helped me up into the truck. He was on time and professional the whole time. I see a bunch of 1 star reviews but that's not what I experienced at all. Gates Towing was dispatched after a 1:22 pm call by Triple A. I was told they would be there by 3:00 pm I was outside, in Winter with a baby. At 3:11, I called Triple A, and was told they would call Gates and ask them to call me with an update, and ETA. At 3:37 Gates called and told me they might be there in an hour and a half, there was no way of knowing. They suggested I call 911. I argued it was NOT a 911 emergency. I was so upset..I had a baby and a grandson that needed to picked up from school . I finally said I was calling Triple A to ask them to dispatch from another garage. Miraculously, Gates towing was there in less than 10 minutes. Freakin terrible!!!! I am absolutely letting Triple A know. read more

Gates towing was dispatched by roadside assistance to get my car unstuck during a heavy snow storm. Their tow guy Scott pulled my bumper off and apologized stating that they would pay for it. He called his manager that said that they weren't going to pay for it. The owner Anthony also stated that he would not pay for it first trying to say that there was rust pictures showed otherwise then he decided to say something behind my bumper was lose and last but not least pulled my car fax bringing up an incident from 2014. He also stated that he spoke with an appraiser that he shouldn't have had an contact with and tried to get the shop where my car was to convince me into paying a deductible for damage his company caused. Just ridiculous! Had a bumper when they were dispatched and they left me with no bumper and $3500 worth of damage.. as I stated I have pictures of my vehicle right after the bumper was pulled off and the reply Tim gave is false. I'm not sure what three adjusters came out. Only two people have been out to see my vehicle and this company so called knows things are denied before me mighty funny ! read more
